No problems this week. I am curious why we had a new episode on Easter.
I'm glad Sherlock solved his problems with his new girlfriend. I thought he was going to lose her because she didn't like being seen as a project. But Sherlock likes to solve problems. I sort of knew he had to work on his relationship with her because he has relationship problems too.
She reminds me a lot of Sheldon on "Big Bang Theory".
This week it was Sherlock, not Watson, who was bothered. I'm surprised they didn't pursue that issue further. Soundproofing was a good idea but it appears it didn't work. But something helped Watson.
I don't know why it surprised me to see snow. I guess they weren't dressed all that warmly earlier. Watson's clothes are always so pretty. I've mentioned this, and there is news coverage that indicates that is intentional.

4.18 Ready Or Not (3-27-16)
Holmes and Watson must determine whether a survival doctor is a victim of foul play or has purposely gone into hiding; Holmes behaves oddly when his relationship with Fiona reaches a crucial point.
I too am glad that Sherlock worked things out with Fiona, but she had to be the aggressor to push him past his reservations.
At last, Holmes hit somebody. I have often wondered why they demonstrated Holmes fighting ability but he seldom uses the skill.
There are always twists and turns in Sherlock’s cases. This week, the possible suspects were:
The son of the man who hired Sherlock to take the case The wife, of course Vince’s partner Ms. Monaghan, the redhead Drug traffickers A prepper (survivalist) The Keep’s owner Staller/ArdentArmy
Next episode is in two weeks and will be a 2-hour event.

That bunker which was only for those who could pay reminded me that in "You, Me and the Apocalypse" (which, if I remember correctly, had its finale last night) we were not seeing those chosen for the official bunker for which those people were chosen who were humanity's best chance to survive. We were, it turns out, seeing the bunker built by a rich woman, and everyone in there, and everyone we have been seeing each week, has a connection to her.

Off topic, but since this is a 10:00 show, James Corden had a first anniversary special in prime time where he said normally at 10:00 on CBS, you would be solving crimes.
That is not an exaggeration. CBS has crime shows every night at 10, except Saturday.

4.20 Art Imitates Art (4-10-16)

I thought that was Watson at first. But her voice was too high and she looked too young.
I liked the way Watson was so serious and her sister wanted them to be like friends. Wow, Watson has a sister and she is not happy about it.
Watson decided she had to buy new posts after she found out what Sherlock put it them.
I noticed Watson had something wrong with her voice in the episode after Sherlock told her to try the trampoline to help her symptoms. On that subject, Sherlock is hard enough to understand with that accent.
I liked the two Clyde jokes. I forget now who was eating out of Clyde's bowl.
I haven't seen all of the second episode, and I nearly lost it. I did set the TiVo to record 30 extra minutes, and this time that was the exact number I needed. I thought I deleted the 11:00 newscast on the NBC station since I had seen the low and high on the CW affiliate. However, I didn't see the episode and had to get it out of the trash. And it's a good thing I realized I would have to manually restart the recording. Fortunately, this happened during a commercial break.
By 11:30, it was time to go to bed. I wasn't through but I had to quit.

I was reminded by how the NSA is going beyond what is reasonable on "Scandal". Those people are scary.

Sherlock mentioned that Joan seemed upset and he could tell because she was eating out of the bowl they use for Clyde's bath. That was funny.
I thought Joan's sister was rude to her from the very beginning because she kept being abrupt and complaining while Joan was giving her medical attention. I think Joan handled that situation very well and she showed empathy and patience for her sister.
Sherlock loves to make comments about Joan's relationship with Mycroft every chance he gets.
I am glad that Det. Bell is making worthy observations now. Bell and Holmes show each other more respect than they did in the beginning.
It was likely the crime involving the art work would have gone unsolved if Holmes had not pursued every detail diligently. I did not see suspect the guilty party or the reason behind the murders.

Something I found curious was the comment by Watson's sister about her speaking Mandarin.
That makes it sounds like Watson's sister's mother doesn't speak English. But look at the two of them. The sister looks mixed-race. Watson looks Chinese. This means more than likely both Watson's parents are Chinese. Meanwhile, if Watson's father married another woman and the daughter is mixed-race, that would make the mother white.
At least that's the way the girl looks.
And we finally learn why Watson doesn't have a Chinese name. What was her birth name again?

Joan Yun
Apparently Lin Wen's mother spoke both English and Mandarin. When we heard Lin talking to her mother on the phone, she told her mother something along the lines of "I know you are getting excited when you start talking Mandarin."

The episode started on time for a change so I was able to see it all in one night.
It should have been no surprise that Sherlock's father was able to get in the brownstone. He paid for the place after all.
I didn't think the cat was cute. I need for a cat to have fur.
It bothers me to see Watson smiling around people who aren't Sherlock because she never smiles when she's with Sherlock.

Apparently Joan did not think the cat was cute either and neither do I. I had not thought about it, but you make an interesting point that Joan does not smile when she is with Sherlock. I cannot recall if she ever smiled at him.

Very complicated.
I don't understand why Watson was using chopsticks to eat. But I did like the way Sherlock disgusted her.
And the other moment that shouldn't have surprised her was Sherlock standing on a table like he had seen a mouse.
I liked the music Sherlock was listening to but wouldn't like it that loud.

Poor Joan cannot eat in peace because Sherlock interrupts her with all sorts of questionable antics. Maybe she should take her food downstairs when he enters.
Once again, I noticed how Sherlock's face was twisted (contorted) while he listened to his father's explanation.
Sherlock's description of his father made the Captain wary of what Morland is capable of and he threatened Morland with reprisal if he hurts Sherlock or Joan. Morland liked Joan, but she might be on his list of enemies now. He forgives his son, but that does not mean Morland will forgive Joan.
I agree the case was very complicated. Although they resolved the issue of how the hitmen were selected, they have not determined who ordered the murders. According to Sherlock, the names used indicate his ex, Moriarty is probably involved.
