That was interesting. I thought we had seen how Snow and Charming met, but when they discovered they both remembered something but didn't realize the other person was there, that shows we were right about how they thought they met. One of these days, probably after this show is cancelled, they need to release a DVD series that goes in chronological order and not by episode.
I've already forgotten how Snow ended up being a thief, but she explained it well enough.
I liked the outcome of their attempt to save the town. I don't like that one will be asleep and the other awake until they solve the problem, but now we have another crisis to make the show interesting.

When they touched the sapling and the flashbacks occurred and demonstrated the power of their true love, I thought something different was going to happen. I thought their love bond would prevent the lost souls water from destroying the town, even without the actual sapling. When they approached the Evil Queen, I was sure they would defeat her; therefore, I was disappointed that did not happen. In spite of that, I enjoyed the episode and think it will be interesting to see who spends most of the time awake. They spend enough time together in real life anyway. I do not really understand why Selena would care who the Evil Queen is kissing. That should not affect their friendship, unless she is truly a very jealous/envious person.

I just heard this radio commercial where a girl can't find a mirror and is told by her mother that a mirror can never capture her true self. It starts with a bad haircut. I don't even remember what else happens, even though I've heard it so many times. It's about parenting, not haircuts. I was trying to remember that when Flash got trapped in a mirror. However, at least he could communicate with the outside world.
The Evil Queen in a pantsuit. We nearly had that. Instead, The Dark One is President.
So we finally know Aladdin did have a genie. I can't remember if that was true in the other series with Alice. I noticed one thing at Granny's. All four people had British accents.
Charming was a presenter on the CMA Awards.
The curse on Snow and Charming was funnier than I expected. I want to know who is sheriff if Charming is asleep and Emma is trapped in a mirror. I couldn't quite make out her phone message that mentioned the word "sheriff".
Finally, Henry realized his mother was talking strangely. Regina never talks about him being king.
I knew The Evil Queen was making a mistake telling the dragon to kill Regina. Because killing Regina kills her.
Henry and Violet dancing was nice. It reminded me of a movie I saw this weekend. See the Gilmore Girls board for more. I saw another movie that reminded me of this show, "Percy Jackson & the Olympians". Percy, son of Poseidon and a mortal, had to rescue his mother from Hades, but the Underworld was a much worse place than on this show.
I noticed Rumplestiltskin was sitting at his spinning wheel. Have we ever seen that in Storybrooke?

The commercial ends with "You don't have to be perfect to be a perfect parent" and then says something about an organization related to adopting kids.

Have we ever seen that in Storybrooke? In "Alice", I believe the genie was the man Alice was in love with, right? The Evil Queen was really sure Henry would not let the dragon kill his parents, but that was a foolish gamble. I did not know breaking the mirror would free the prisoners, but I am thinking the magic of the hammer made breaking the mirror an effective way to release them. I liked seeing Rumple sitting at the spinning wheel because it reminded me of the early days. He will never be in need of money. Belle is not willing to compromise at all with Mr. Gold and that is making both of them unhappy. I liked seeing Henry and Violet dancing also. The episode of Hawaii Five-0 that I watched ended the same way. The boy and girl danced in the empty room while their parents watched from outside. It took me a moment to comprehend your clever comment about the Evil Queen in a pantsuit and the Dark One.

Jack and Jill? I didn't know that's who that was.
So now Aladdin is the Genie in the Lamp.
I was so happy to see Regina save Zelena. She took quite a chance because it looked like she would kill herself.
So now we know who Rumplestiltskin's mother is.
I did not enjoy the episode.

I do not understand the ability of Rumple’s son to continue to communicate with Belle during her dreams. I like the younger, loving Belle much more than the nagging Belle.
I never expected the Evil Queen to kill her sister and I am glad Regina stopped her. But then Regina surprised me by being harsh with Selena and saying she will never forgive her.
They still have the ability to surprise me and Rumple being the son of a fairy is one of those times.
I am relieved Gold was not harsh with Belle after she sent his son away. I thought that would send him into a rage. Even if she does not believe him, he should tell her he did not cause the accelerated delivery. I love babies, but I do not want to watch babies on OUAT. They could make a fortune with that accelerated pregnancy stuff because a lot of women would love to be pregnant for three months instead of nine.
The episode was rather depressing and I probably will not like next week's episode either. I do not like it when they reverse history after so many years.

I enjoyed seeing Emma in the fantasy. And Henry being knighted. And I noticed Charming and Snow aged normally there. And the dwarfs looked just like they did in the movie whistling with their tools. I have never seen the movie in its entirety.
I wondered how Emma and Regina would get back, and I guess we will still wonder that. Stewie on "Family Guy" always brings along a "return pad" when he time travels, and Regina did have one wish left, so I assumed she would use that on a method to get back.
It was also fun seeing the original Rumplestiltskin.
Regarding last week's episode, I can't believe a man who sells antiques would get mad and break stuff.

Even if she does not believe him, he should tell her he did not cause the accelerated delivery. Well, he did. It looks like they're getting along better now that the baby is missing. I'm not clear on why we're seeing him as an adult.

6.11 Tougher Than the Rest 3-5-17

I was so happy for Regina when she got Robin back.
I liked seeing Emma choose her name. It never occurred to me where she, or any orphan found the way she was, gets a last name.
I'm confused as to how the tree from which the magic wardrobe was made was still there. If the wardrobe was made from it, wouldn't it be gone?
Interesting that Rumplestiltskin in the other world seemed happy when he wanted revenge. Gold, of course, shows his anger when he's angry.
How many times have they had to fix that clock?
Gideon worries me. He can't be stopped.

I enjoyed the episode and I laughed at the way people cleared the tavern when the Evil Queen entered and one of the big guys squeezed through a window.
It was nice that Robin Hood came back and Regina’s reunion with him was sweet. But now there are a lot of questions about him. There were several references to him looking younger. I would not have noticed and I need to look at some photos.
Gideon wants power so that he can defeat the dark fairy, but I do not understand how he can rationalize that killing the Savior will lead to him being a hero. That is counter-intuitive. Whenever someone visits the clock tower, I think something bad is going to happen.
Hook’s past has, once again, presented a major problem for him. If he confesses to killing David’s father in cold blood, David will be too angry to want him as a son-in-law.
Mary Margaret looked pretty while she was sleeping.

I forgot to come here!
It's terrible that we learned this about Hook. Of course he is a good person now, but how can David forgive that?
I did enjoy learning all these details about David.
It's not really Robin Hood, but I did like how he had trouble adjusting to the new land.

I liked seeing more of Rumple’s past, but his relationship with his son was very different than what I remembered. I was surprised he initially used the dark magic to perform a heroic deed. That is similar to what his mature son wants to do. I recall reading "Beowulf" in school, but I do not remember him being a false hero.
Rumple helped his son by taking on the burden of harming the Blue Fairy. I do not think that will end well for Rumple. I am not feeling warm and fuzzy toward Belle yet.
I hope Hook and Emma have a successful relationship.
Robin Hood is not as bad as I thought he would be. He wants to do what he has always done and not have to live up to Regina’s expectations.
The Evil Queen is back and I am amused that she seems to enjoy having that title.

I recall reading Beowulf but all I remember was that there was a monster.
I was hoping Hook would be able to do what he needed to do, but he found a way around it. I can't see him telling Emma his big secret and not experiencing consequences.
I don't remember the Evil Queen being turned into a snake. I didn't realize that's what that was until I saw Regina's reaction when it was gone.
Rumplestiltskin's use of dark magic was different from what I would have thought. It seems his son could have kept him from going down that dark road, but he had to give his son a spell to make him forget those last details or he would have gone down that road too.
There sure are a lot of Gideons on prime-time TV.

I did not remember the Evil Queen being turned into a snake either.
Hook should never reveal his secret to Emma or David. I do not see that it would do anything positive.
I have also noticed there are a lot of Gideons on TV. The main character in APB is named Gideon.

I enjoyed the episode. Regina has always been one of my favorites and I enjoyed the focus being on her. I was pleased with her resolution of the dilemma with her doppelganger, but it was unexpected. It was a shock to see Regina pull her own beating heart out of her body. They did a good job of showing Regina and the Evil Queen on the screen at the same time.
The special pen worked its magic and sent the Evil Queen to a place she can start over. I loved the Evil Queen and I am not happy to see her gone. I liked the alternate Robin and I am glad he does not have to pretend to be someone else.
When I saw Mary Margaret, I thought the sleeping spell had been broken, but it does not seem to be.
It was nice to see Captain Nemo again. I hope Hook gets a chance to make things right with Emma. Of course, Emma will think he abandoned her, unless Gideon admits he tricked Hook.

I couldn't believe it when one Regina commented that each one has some of the other. I thought they were really separated into good and evil. But now each one has some of the qualities of the other. And Henry actually called the evil one "Mom."
David and Gold were missing, but both of them were mentioned.
I wondered why the exit of the Evil Queen didn't break the spell.
I don't know how they got both the Evil Queen and Regina on screen at once. I couldn't see the face of one of them when they were fighting with swords, but the Queen didn't quite look like herself in another scene. I had the chance to see the other Samantha in a "Bewitched" episode because I taped it. I froze it and could clearly see the other woman. I wish I had a way to save that and sent it out on the Internet.
I hope things work out with Hook too. Emma doesn't know he didn't mean to leave.
I forgot to mention last week that the clock has been repaired AGAIN.
