Something's wrong with this site. It keeps telling me someone else has responded since I did.
Anyway, I'm still three episodes behind. The World Series will help me catch up.

By the time you catch up, I will not remember everything I thought was so funny in the last episode. It was definitely my favorite episode. "Baelfire" from OUAT was in it.

I should have made sure the episode wouldn't be deleted. Fortunately, before I tried watching online (which would be very unsatisfactory because at the one library where I can, video is a series of still photos along with the sound; not good for an action show), I remembered that I had checked deleted episodes for "Timeless" after I accidentally deleted it. That actually worked because of all the problems I've been having with the machine where I recorded the episode. It was still there!
And I'm still three episodes behind. If the World Series is over before Game 7, the newspaper shows a new episode next week.

Lethal Weapon was fun to watch. I think it is funny the way Riggs makes himself comfortable at Murtaugh’s house. While Murtaugh was showering, Riggs cooked. He opened a jar of mustard and casually dunked the meat in the jar, put the meat in his mouth, and then repeated the process several more times. My goodness! The marijuana trade is a lucrative cash business. I learned something from the show; the Federal banks will not insure the money like they do for other bank accounts. They said the sellers have to pay state taxes, but they did not say they had to pay federal taxes. The guys did not cause a lot of damage this week, but they took a big chance when they drove the truck containing the money. Riggs is corrupting Murtaugh and talked him into letting his former training officer escape. Murtaugh and his wife finally had some time alone and that was nice. I didn't know what was going on with the food. The woman who was handling the money had a nice figure. I wanted the training officer to escape. It could be argued he found the truck and was going to give it back. Riggs, despite his moral problems, is a really good detective. I remember seeing some familiar names in the guest cast but don't remember who they were now. I liked seeing the story of how Murtaugh and Trish met, and while she did make a valuable contribution I'd like to see more of her in action. Oops. Wrong episode. Again.

1.05 Spilt Milk 10-19-16
Murtaugh draws parallels between a former Navy SEAL wanted for criminal activity and his partner, Riggs, whose connection to the suspect complicates the case. Riggs made a valuable contribution because he served even if he also caused problems. Was this the one with Baelfire? I wouldn't have known him. There is this one detective I recognized from an earlier episode who isn't particularly tough but he's good. Wait, this is the one where Trish made the valuable contribution. And did I get this one right? I didn't have a problem with "Denzel" but I guess Murtaugh does. Now an assistant who looks like Trish (that's what she did on "Are We There Yet?" but she was kind of spoiled and bubbleheaded) I could see a wife having a problem with. Very exciting and there was that connection with other veterans. And a risky dive into a pool no one could have done in real life.

My TiVo told me I recorded this. All I saw was baseball. Now how much do you want to bet the episode will be considered a rerun when it actually airs? So I have to watch very carefully. The episode I thought I had lost is being repeated soon so I could have recorded it.

1.06 Ties That Bind 11-9-16

The episode had ups and downs, but was very good. The expenditures are going up again after that car chase. The fight scene in the shower was hilarious. The black hulk was difficult to take down and the Taser needed a stronger charge for him. After Riggs’ uncomfortable struggle with the guy, it is the first time I have heard “it” called a “situation”. I think Riggs threw the book at the suspect: two counts of attempted murder on police, assault and battery, destruction of property, and two dozen counts of burglary. Riggs was amusing after he made a diving tackle on a suspect. He said, “El Paso High, Strong Safety." The barbershop scene at the end was very funny. I wonder what Riggs' hair will look like. I thought Murtaugh was too hard on Riggs for helping his son. After all, Junior was in the 'hood at night. But it worried me that he was dealing with that guy who was getting in all sorts of trouble. Isn't it dangerous to use a Taser around that much water?

Which one? I have a few!
OH NO HE DIN'T!
Murtaugh had Riggs there to stop him from doing something dumb, which is the reverse of normal.
Then Trish heard the words. Oh, he's going to wish he had never said that!

Even though the promos kept showing the scene with Trish at the precinct, I still enjoyed seeing it during the show.
Murtaugh and Riggs make good friends. Riggs kept Murtaugh from hurting the careless boy and Murtaugh had the foreigners' house towed before Riggs did something that would really get him in trouble.

Wasn't there an episode this week? Yes, and I watched it when it aired, but I overlooked posting the description. 1.07 Fashion Police 11-16-18
As Riggs and Murtaugh examine the murder of one of L.A.'s fashion expeditors, they follow a trail of evidence that leads them to an ongoing and exceptionally dangerous underground investigation led by the Drug Enforcement Administration. In the meantime, Trish and the kids are off visiting colleges, leaving Murtaugh to a "bender" of his own, while Riggs has trouble sleeping through the night due to his all-too-real dreams of Miranda.

Funny episode in which we saw a lot of the adorable baby. When Murtaugh was calling his buddies and the baby watched him with sideway glances, she kept making me laugh. It was funny when Murtaugh was called to a crime scene and had the baby strapped to his chest. I hoped he would not involve the baby in anything dangerous, and he handed her over to another detective before going off with Riggs.
I enjoyed the scene where Riggs held onto the truck driven by the reckless young man. That was a rough ride. Who pays for all the damage to the small business stalls the truck crashed through?
Riggs finally revealed some very personal information to Dr. Cahill, the shrink, which helps to understand how death could seem like a happy ending for him.
I really enjoy the buddy moments and it was sweet when Riggs showed up to spend time with Murtaugh and help him binge on sandwiches.
I keep forgetting to mention that I really like Det. Cruz. He might look like a gang banger, but he is an excellent cop and he cares about people.

Cruz is the one I referred to as a coward, but he sure came across as tough last week.
Riggs' wife sure looked good in the shower.
The scene with the truck bothered me because of all those poor people having to deal with all that damage to their businesses. We know there's a running total of damage the detectives cause.
It also bothered me to see that pretty girl with the business get shot. Even when I watch really violent movies and the person doesn't have any lines, I think of those as people being killed.
I wasn't paying that much attention to the baby. I did feel sorry for Murtaugh not getting to take full advantage of being without the wife.

I do not remember what Cruz did that seemed cowardly. Maybe that was when he was undercover for the other agency.
I thought about the poor vendors also and hoped someone reimbursed them quickly.
Take your eyes off of the woman in the shower and admire the beautiful baby. I loved her.

1.08 Can I Get A Witness (11-30-16)
The opening scene in the casino was exciting. Motorcyclists drove into the casino and rode over tables and counters until they reached a display that held a million dollars. They were quick and efficient. This episode focused on Riggs and a boy who witnessed the heist.
Murtaugh and his wife are fun to watch. Her idea of an exciting vacation was for the two of them to climb a mountain. His idea of fun is lying around drinking fancy drinks. Then, he decided an exciting vacation would include them riding down the highway on a big motorcycle. I loved the way that turned out.
I enjoyed Riggs honest responses when the boy asked him questions and the warmth that developed between them. I had no doubt Riggs would protect the boy when the motorcyclists attacked them. I was surprised and delighted when Murtaugh came to the rescue on his bike. That was very nice.
The gift was predictable, but it was still a nice gesture. Now Riggs can continue to live in his beachfront home.

Riggs and the boy had a really special relationship. I just wonder if a romance is possible for him that would allow him to become that boy's stepfather.
Poor Murtaugh gets no respect. He handled himself well on a motorcycle.

1.09 Jingle Bell Glock 12-7-16
Holiday celebrations are cut short when the precinct is called to examine a homicide linked to the deranged nephew of a drug lord who has ties to Riggs; Murtaugh has a problem with his neighbor's excessive holiday decorations.

That was confusing. I wondered what Riggs was doing in an apartment. I was pleased he might find love again. It wasn't until after the girl was identified as Miranda that I remembered her. I have this problem of not knowing people if I see them in a situation I don't expect. Now, we know how they met and that was interesting.
Miranda's father was Ugly Betty's father, in case I haven't mentioned it. I couldn't believe Riggs wore that sweater.
I wonder how that girl fell? She looked real but couldn't have hit the car that hard if she was.
I knew Riggs was going to explode when that man commented about Miranda as if he had her killed.
Trish handled herself well but she's used to dealing with criminals.
I have had two neighbors that were like Murtaugh's neighbor (both living in the same house at different times; the current residents let me take a photo of my tree on several occasions on a phone or a camera). As far as I know, I've never had any power problems. But I got interested in the subject after Hugo and found out we're on the main line.

I enjoyed the episode and I loved the way Murtaugh responded when he learned his family was in danger.
I had the same reaction as you when we saw Riggs and Miranda in an apartment. It never crossed my mind he and his future wife met in the bar and I did not recognize her. Based on what the man's uncle said, I do think the nephew or someone in that family killed Riggs' wife to distract him. I do not know if losing his wife by accident or as an assassination is worse for Riggs. I think he would retaliate.
I like holiday lights, but I prefer to see them rather than hang them myself. If we get a warm day, I will string some lights, but I will no longer do that in freezing temperatures. No one in my neighborhood is like Murtaugh's neighbor. I thought it was funny he stowed the reindeer in the garage. It was also funny Murtaugh's son kept talking about getting a car for Christmas and when he saw the Ferrari, he was ridiculous.

It was also funny Murtaugh's son kept talking about getting a car for Christmas and when he saw the Ferrari, he was ridiculous. I didn't understand what Murtaugh was doing with a car like that. And you know they don't have the money to get their son a Ferrari. I just assumed it was a Corvette or something. I don't think we've ever had lights outside. We had blue candles in the window and that was about it. We got lights for our tree one time and haven't used them since. I don't know whatever happened to them. Just to clarify, I can't see most of my neighbors' lights unless I walk past because the house where the cats live is in the way.

Murtaugh grabbed the keys from the man who killed the girl. He pushed a button on the key fob and the car chirped. He then took the car and raced home. My car never chirps; it just flashes the lights. I think the kid said "Ferrari", but it could have been a different model.

The episode was entertaining. I have not been to a dance club in years and I would never have gone to an impromptu dance spot anyway because it seems dangerous. I do like the idea of "silent disco" though. Club music is played so loud, one has to yell in order to be heard. The silent disco allowed people to enjoy the music at the volume they like and have fun dancing. I was surprised at the end scene, but I really liked it.
I wondered why Murtaugh would be working with a different partner, but that worked out okay. It gave us an opportunity to explore Riggs depression. It helped him to be understanding in a stressful situation - but steer clear of "drinking the cool aid".
Scorsese was amusing after he took the legal drug because I have never seen him so hyper.
I was happy for Murtaugh, Jr. and he now knows fathers give good advice - sometimes.

Okay, Riggs said A silent disco was the best kind. Now the music played in that disco was not what I call music, so silent would be good.
That girl who made the drugs wouldn't go outside. This reminds me of the Woody Allen movie I saw several weeks ago. The woman wouldn't let anyone in her apartment, but the man assured her he was the man who spent a lot of time with the girl who lived in the building. The problem is he was there to kill her, and he had to kill the woman too.
Scorsese has appeared in several "commercials" which we have to watch because they're part of the show. There was another series that did that.
Murtaugh's new partner sort of reminded me of the Chinese man on "Rush Hour" whose name I can't think of now, but not as funny, or as annoying.

1.11 Lawmen 1-11-17
Murtaugh and Riggs suspect that a misuse of power is at play in the death of a Texas Ranger; a dark secret from Avery's past complicates the investigation.

There was a Texas Ranger in the episode and he was pleased to deal with Riggs rather than L.A. cops. Most of the cops were not squeaky clean and that complicated inter-agency relations.
Murtaugh and Riggs always have some good one liners. My favorite in this episode was Riggs' response when the Captain told them to be delicate. "Delicate-like plucking an eyelash from a pit bull."
I thought the Captain was going to bite the dust. I am glad he did not.

I was relieved Avery didn't have to quit. I didn't want him to even if he did what he did. I was glad Trish was his lawyer if he needed one.
The man blackmailing him was Bill Cosby's TV son. On the first episode of their show, Cos said, "I brought you into this world and I can take you out." Or something like that. And the only teenage boy who should have a shirt that expensive should be on stage with his four brothers. Naturally I didn't want him to be a bad guy.
