I agree that Mac did not seem like a hit man at all. I enjoyed the episode also.
It is not a good idea to question the boss' orders. The lady wanted to know why the boss asked her to research something instead of asking Riley. The boss suggested she do what she was told unless she wanted to find another job.

I hate that it ends tomorrow night. But I still have at least one episode that I missed. I have to watch very carefully since my TiVo needs to be told to record reruns in most cases.

1.21 Cigar Cutter FINALE 4-14-17
Murdoc moves ahead with his plans for revenge against MacGyver by recruiting his recently released former cellmate to infiltrate the Phoenix Complex and kill every agent inside.

I was so happy to see Mark Sheppard as the villain, but the episode put the team in great danger. Jack is not the only team member who can fight; Mac did a good job of taking down the guys who invaded Phoenix. It seemed strange to see the boss firing a gun alongside her officers.
I did not like seeing what happened to Bozer, but I am glad he is okay and that he was still able to help identify the fake doctor.

I didn't like seeing everyone in so much danger, but it was quite exciting.
When the building was being destroyed, I thought of Riggs and Murtaugh and how the captain keeping a tally of damage they had done. Matty didn't seem too concerned about all the damage. I am curious how B8 was above B9.
I also didn't like seeing Bozer hurt so much, and I really didn't like seeing him in the hospital because it reminded me too much of when Rayna James of "Nashville" was also hooked up to beeping machines and seemed to be getting better before things went downhill fast. It's not that I didn't have confidence Bozer would get better, but it was hard to be reminded of that.
Wasn't the hostage the employee who was told she would be getting another job if she didn't do what she was told?
Matty said if Bozer died, he was fired. That was supposed to be funny, right? And in a way, it would inspire him to hold on.
In Egypt, since it was several years ago, it didn't matter how they got out of the mess. You knew they would have to.

The building might have sub-levels which would be numbered going down instead of up. Yes, I also noticed the hostage was the same woman. I agree that seeing the escape from Egypt was not important. I do enjoy seeing their flashback scenes though.

1.10 Pliers
12-9-16
Mac and the team search for a kidnapped prodigy from Mac's former middle school; with only pliers and some wire, Mac attempts to rescue the young genius.Let's look for Mac to use some pliers in a unique manner. I enjoyed seeing MacGyver be warm and gentle with the young girl and she trusted him. He did a nice demonstration for the science class while Wilt gave Riley a tour of the school. That was a nice lab Mac and Wilt used as a hideout. It was especially nice that Mac returned and cleaned it so that it would be ready for the girl to inherit. The team worked together to make a device to block the police radio signals. When a cop was chasing them, MacGyver did something to the car to make it go faster, but that looked difficult and he could have been accidentally ejected from the car. I could not see any pliers when he was working. I like the cell phone being rigged to cause foam to explode on the money. Mac's genius ideas did not always work out when he was young and I enjoyed learning about the mishaps. Mac, Jack, Wilt and Riley worked well together as a team, and Dir. Thornton is a firm but forgiving boss. I do hope Jack would not have to pay for the minivan though because it was not his fault that it was wrecked. I looked at the episode summary and it did not look familiar. I never saw Mac go home. I liked how Mac helped the girl. It was fun learning how Mac and Bozer behaved when they were younger. I especially liked how they kept the kidnappers from getting away. I now know the truth about Thornton, but at this time, she handled things well and I too hoped Jack wouldn't have to pay for the lime green minivan.

Bozer and at least one other person referred to the "Calvary" saving them. I know Bugs Bunny has said that.

I watch classic SNL episodes which air on Saturday nights before the news, which precedes a new episode if there is one, or at least a rerun from the same season. There is a parody called MacGruber. He usually ends up blowing up himself and his colleagues instead of defusing the bomb. And yet there they are again two or three more times.

I don't know whether this is possible. There was a "Hawaii Five-O" crossover. Now it has been announced "Magnum, P.I." will do one too. Could they possibly take that one step further?

I am surprised I did not recognize Lucas Till/MacGyver in the X-Men movies. He looks the same.

"He does more with less". I think that's what was said on "Jeopardy!" last night.
Who is MacGyver?

I watched a movie over the weekend where a man who taped weddings (yes, tape is correct, since it was 1988) wanted to find out if he had ghosts in his house, so he put cameras all over. One camera was able to show more because he took the oscillator off an electric fan. His girlfriend he lived with didn't like that and said "Okay, MacGyver" and asked if he would put it back when he was through.

Knowing how late I am getting off the computer, I'll probably end up having to choose one show. "Magnum" will be the choice if it comes to that.

While watching "Tell Me a Story" online I saw that episodes of "Rush Hour" are on CW Seed. regardless, it was good to see Bozer again in his old role.

Good news! This show is on my CW affiliate. I need to look through this thread and hopefully I will find all the episodes I missed. And then I will watch the listings for those episodes.
