Lucifer was very good. I enjoyed him singing and playing the piano at the end of the episode. I am very very glad that Maze has returned and I knew her friend was going to be the psychiatrist.

Lucifer had a revelation that he never gave his mother an opportunity to explain why she did not help him. That will be an interesting change in his character.

2.04 Lady Parts

Chloe and Lucifer hunt for the killer of two young L.A. transplants who were poisoned; Maze and Chloe make a shocking decision.

"Lucifer" is so entertaining I cannot say anything bad about the show even though there is one thing I do not like.

Bringing Lucifer's mother onto the show has added an interesting dynamic. As punishment, Lucifer told her she had to live the life of the woman whose body she inhabited. Her conversation with Maze about that life was humorous.

After a wild girls night, Maze told Chloe they had decided to share an apartment together and split expenses. That should be fun to watch. Trixie is already sly and I bet she will copy some of Maze's behavior.

Amenadiel's wings are shedding and he is extremely upset. I do not think he can leave Earth because of that and he thinks it is happening because Lucifer did not keep his deal with God. I like Amenadiel and that is the only thing I am not happy with.

2.05 Weaponizer

Lucifer enthusiastically investigates the murder of his favorite movie hero, Wesley Cabot; Amenadiel comes clean about his lost powers; Uriel fights with Lucifer over Chloe and their mother.

The show is getting a wee bit more serious than I want, but I still like it. Lucifer now has blood on his hands and is distraught about it, as he should be. I do not mind the mother-escaped-from-hell story arc, and it was interesting until they took it down a dark path.

Lucifer and Dan are getting along surprisingly well. They like the same movies and get excited talking about them.

Uriel planned to kill both Chloe and their mother, mainly because he was resentful that Lucifer and Amenadiel ignored him because they were older. After Uriel defeated Amenadiel in a fight, the truth came out that he had lost his power. Lucifer was not at all sympathetic, partly because he was so worried about Chloe.

During an investigation, a self-destructive Lucifer clashes with Chloe, leading her to team up with Dan; Charlotte and Amenadiel bond; Trixie goes trick-or-treating with Maze.

Oh, man, it was bound to happen one day. Lucifer has been acting out in remorse for killing his brother, Uriel. After a very rough day, he finally went to see his counselor. Linda told him to stop using metaphors (which he was not using) and to reveal his true self. He did!

Maze took Trixie trick or treating and that was fun to watch. When Trixie said she wished Maze had worn a costume, Maze revealed her true face and Trixie was delighted. Of course, she does not know it is Maze’s true face.

2.07 My Little Monkey

After the man convicted of killing Chloe's father is murdered, new clues suggests he was framed; Maze looks for a job; Lucifer tries to learn how to be normal by watching Dan.

Lucifer was excellent. Dan and Lucifer teamed up to track down a murderer and they were fun to watch. Dan, Lucifer, Chloe and Maze were instrumental in tracking down and apprehending the man who ordered a hit on Chloe’s father. After Maze was the one who tracked the criminal down, she decided to be a bounty hunter and the police paid her $1,000 for capturing him.

I was happy that Maze was finally able to get Linda to talk to her even though she knows Maze is a demon.

2.09 Homewrecker

After the owner of the building in which Lux is located is murdered, Lucifer and Chloe search for the killer; Charlotte devises a plan to upset Lucifer and make him want to leave Earth and return to Heaven.

Lucifer’s mother is hoping the murder of Lucifer’s landlord and Lucifer’s eviction from Lux will force him to leave L.A. and return to Heaven. Lucifer has no intention of returning. His mother is willing to sacrifice the lives of humans, and specifically Chloe, to accomplish her goal. Amenadiel wants to return to Heaven, but he is not a murderer. I think mommy dearest will push Lucifer too far and it will backfire against her.

2.10 Quid Pro Ho

Charlotte tries to turn Chloe against Lucifer in order to get him to leave Earth; Maze begins to question Amenadiel's loyalty.



The episode focused on the trial of the man accused of having Chloe’s father killed. The key witness was decapitated and his head was delivered to the desk of Detective Decker. Lucifer’s mom somehow became the defense attorney. Lucifer’s testimony was fun to watch. Detective Decker and Maze teamed up for some payback against the criminal.

Lucifer returns in January, but they left us with an amazing clue about Chloe. Amenadiel recognized Chloe’s mother and realized his father had sent him to earth 30 years ago to bless a couple with a child. That child was Chloe and she is special. That is why Lucifer becomes mortal in her presence.

I love this show and watch it when it airs. That requires me to delay watching either Gotham, Supergirl or Scorpion. I decide based on the plot of the episodes.

Lucifer's wings keep growing back no matter how many times he cuts them off. Also, he cannot make his demon face visible to people. He is frustrated about this, but his psychiatrist told him to accept it.

We do not know who the Sinnerman is or how he can be powerful enough to do that to Lucifer.

Lucifer and Pierce acting as a couple was funny. Lucifer was enjoying himself, but Pierce was very unhappy. After an argument in front of their guests, Lucifer apologized and kissed Pierce - a very long and convincing kiss. They fooled the guests.
