A trio of bounty hunters, known as Killjoys, chases deadly warrants through the Quad, a distant area that is near the start of a violent class war among multiple planets. Gorgeous but deadly Dutch is a top-level Killjoy who has a unique gift for earning people's trust, regardless of their class. The much-loved Killjoy harbors a dark secret. Kindhearted John is a peacemaker who prefers not to fight. Handsome, loyal former soldier D'avin is experienced in hand-to-hand combat, which makes him a valuable asset to the team.

I just binge-watched season 1 of Killjoys. Every episode was entertaining. Dutch is a good leader and a skilled fighter. Her team and the people who know her love her. She has a mysterious past that has not yet been revealed.
John has been her partner for eight years. I can tell he loves her, but he treats her like a sister. He puts his life on the line for Dutch without hesitation. He is also very good with technology and ship mechanics.
D'avin is John's brother whom he has not seen for nine years. When a warrant showed up for D'avin's apprehension, John sprang into action to save him. That was D'avin's introduction to the Killjoy team. D'avin also had mystery in his past. I enjoy a good mystery and did not want D'avin's to be solved as early as it was. He is a soldier so he is a skilled fighter and tactition.
I am ready for S2.

It took 24 hours to download, but the show is worth the wait. Season 2 was as good as S1 so there was no disappointment. I enjoy the relationships between the characters and it is a bonus when I also enjoy seeing the antagonist.
Dutch, John and D'avin enjoy the danger and thrill of fulfilling their commitment to serve warrants. But the reappearance of Dutch's mentor upset the free-wheeling lifestyle. Dutch drew both John and D'avin into her quest to be free of Khlyen. Killjoys are supposed to be neutral when different factions are warring against each other. But the Killjoy team became more and more embroiled in conflicts between The Company and the workers in Old Town.
I like both Khylen, Fancy, and Turrin even though the Killjoys are aggravated by them. Alvis, Pree, and Lucy added a dimension to the series that kept me entertained and added humor.
Alas, not everyone survived and I will miss them in the third season.

I am glad the new girl, Carleen, will be in S3. Her saucy attitude might lift John's spirit, plus she does not have pity parties.

John, of course, is my favorite. I love how he talks to the ship. I didn't like his brother at first, but I've slowly warmed up to him. It's a fun, fun show.

I had to laugh when android-Lucy kissed John. Love their relationship, and yes, Lucy does have favorites.

SpoilerTV.com just put up some dialog from tonight's premiere. Can we guess who says what?
Remember when we just caught bad guys? Never stops being weird. We want you to help us save the world. Do you have a point? Where the hell is John Jacobi? Do you believe in monsters? I get arrested a lot. I really wish that I didn’t believe you. They don’t call me the mouth cuz I’m good with my hands. I am the greatest man who ever lived. Collect the whole set. Have a bunch of badass superheroes. You’re not Clara. Don’t take your haircut out on me. While you were yapping, I thought of a cunning plan. Consider the bitch bombed.

Killjoys returns for season three with “Boondoggie” directed by Stefan Pleszczybski and written by Michelle Lovretta. Dutch is determined to get her war going. But first she has to deal with a black market smuggler.
The episode begins with a quick mission with Dutch (Hannah John-Kamen) leading her new team – D’Avin (Luke Macfarlane) – of course! – Pree (Thom Allison), Alvis (Morgan Kelly), and Fancy (Sean Baek)! Dutch and D’Avin are still reporting to the RAC and to Turin (Patrick Garrow). But there’s also a new oversight team lead by Banyon Grey (Karen LeBlanc).
Someone gets a big surprise from a new mod that’s pretty funny. Killjoys are missing. Dutch and D’Avin go under cover – without a lot of cover. Johnny (Aaron Ashmore) makes a new acquaintance called Ollie played by Tommie-Amber Pirie who was also on Bitten. Ollie is another hack-mod. John is searching for Clara.
Dutch and Johnny both clearly miss each other. Fancy has a new toy. Lucy (Tamsen McDonough) over shares. Johnny gets a really cool new toy, and he makes a really interesting discovery with it. The episode has three good fight scenes and a good shoot out.

I wonder how long Dutch and Johnny will be separated? They are brother/sister close, although Johnny was shocked when she and Davin slept together. So was I.

Based on SpoilerTV's descriptions, it seems like at least three episodes. That is a long time. John does not seem upset that she slept with Alvis, but he asked D'avin to not sleep with Dutch.

I really enjoyed it. I love the humor and action. I cannot believe it but Lucy really was the one who said “Consider the bitch bombed.” John was so excited to get a modification. It should come in handy if he ever stops playing with it. John was lucky to find Ollie but he is still concerned about what happened to Clara. (I thought John left with Carleen, but she was Clara, the Arkyn Shield Detector.) Fancy’s boomerang is nice. My goodness, there is another mystery with D’avin. He opened the Hullen ship and flew it. How did he even know he could do that? The end scenes between John and Dutch were a little sad. John does not have Clara for back-up and now I am not sure about D’avin being there for Dutch.

Really, really good first episode of the season. Hope that means well for the rest of it. LOVED John getting to choose his mod! He was like a kid in a candy store. And the way he couldn't stop playing with it? Hysterical. What's the story with Davin and the camouflaged space ships? Is this all part of that mysterious background of his? Do you think Lucy misses John? I was shocked when Dutch compared their new "fat-faced" crew member to John! He is NOTHING like John. Dutch and John really miss each other. Those recording of their messages to each other were so poignant. Can't wait for next Friday.

Happy KILLJOYS Friday!!
Turin insists Dutch and D’avin take a few of the Rack’s best brains for a test drive mission, in search for a temporary replacement for Johnny. The rookies soon find themselves over their heads, trapped in an abandoned black site bent on killing them all. Across the J, Johnny finds himself in hot water of his own as his search for Clara leads him to a mysterious skin rejuvenation centre, hiding an even bigger mystery under its surface.

Both Jacobis men have a glib way of speaking their comebacks that makes me laugh – “nerd sexual ritual”. John looked really good strutting into Niko’s headquarters. I thought kissing Niko’s hand might be overkill until the skanner glove gave Ollie the security code. The mystery of how Ollie came into possession of Clara’s arm was solved. I wonder if somehow that is the answer to how D’avin knew about the Hullen ships. I hope not because the process seems to be permanent/fatal. John is home. I am not good at recognizing faces that are unfamiliar to me and I am not sure who the lady is that we saw with Aneela at the end. Zeph has joined the team and Dutch coined their alliance as “Team Awesome Force”. I do not think that is as easy to remember as “Team Free Will”.

Good episode.
Found it really interesting how the "test nerds" were just visualizing their try-out with Dutch and Davin. Pretty cool.
Of course Johhny was awesome as he took on the skinners and his new "mod" helped him to escape their clutches.
The reunion was beautiful, but I wonder how Johnny will be received by the Rack when he shows up at headquarters again?

From tonight's episode, courtesy of SpoilerTV.com:
Killjoys “The Hullen Have Eyes” was directed by Ruba Nadda. Sara Waisglass guest stars as Quin and Aidan Devine plays the Last Seer.
John (Aaron Ashmore) gets himself reinstated, and wants an adventure, and Dutch (Hannah John-Kamen) gets him one. John gets to meet Zeph (Kelly McCormack), and they don’t exactly hit it off.
We visit the Hullen Armada. Delle (Mayko Nguyen) is accompanied by Gander (Ted Atherton) who is the Commander’s senior advisor. Delle is disturbed by how Aneela looks. And she may look identical to Dutch, she doesn’t sound like her. I love how John-Kamen has created this new character!
Delle regrets not taking Gander’s advice. John ends up over his head. Aneela has a pretty serious temper issue. Delle finds out she’s on her own to clean up her own messes now.
Dutch, D’Avin (Luke Macfarlane) and John find themselves the guests of honor at a celebration. D’Avin and John have a brotherly moment. D’Avin makes an unexpected friend who gives the team some unexpected help.
We find out more about what D’Avin was doing at the end of the first episode. Two people are unhappy to learn that Khlyen is dead.
And of course, a preview wouldn’t be complete without some dialogue teasers:
I thought you were just the funny one. I multi-task. That’s why I came back. Queens rise. I’m sure your math is very math-y. Risk nothing gain nothing. Let’s skip to the fun part. Let me take you to the room that sings. Some of it will be awful. I’m sorry. I get aggressive when I’m anxious. Ok. I’ll do it. Where are the undying? I sutured livestock on my farm all the time. Is that sarcasm? Why make me your problem when I can be your poster boy. This is starting to get… what comes after awkward?

Enjoued "The Hullen have Eyes" even though the skinners are starting to give me memory loss as to who is who. And I can't get used to the "Dutch double."
Best part of the episode was John snarking his way through his reinstatement! Multi-tasking and words matter!!
Who are the Hullen an was is the point of them sewing eyeids shut? I wouldn't think that a few millimeters of skin would protect from those nasty solar flares.
Send that new nerd away. She is annoying and takes away from John.

I watched Killjoys when it aired and I enjoyed it. I forgot to comment, but I agree with everything you said.
So, the mysterious woman is one of the elite nine, but that soldier/advisor certainly had no respect for her.
Khlyen is probably the only person Aneela loved and now she will be even more unhinged.
Zeph should be fired. When she cloaked the ship, she was not trying to help the team; she was protecting herself. I was surprised that John changed his mind about letting her stay.
We were supposed to learn what D’avin was doing with the ship. We know he wanted to retrieve the object, but that does not explain why D’avin was able to do that.
Sewing the eyes shut made no sense to anyone. I think the girl adjusted to her returned sight too quickly.
I am so happy the team is together again, but I miss some of their allies like Fancy, Pree, and Akaris.
