I think the premiere was an excellent way to give us more on the origin of Dutch and John's relationship. They kept the focus on John and did not give D'Avin even an honorable mention.
Khlyen is a good story teller and I enjoyed learning how Dutch and John wound up as Killjoys. It is always exciting to see Dutch in a good fight.
I was so happy to see Pree and even Turin. I hope we see Fancy in a flashback too.
The premiere ended on a cliffhanger!

"Johnny Dangerously" was fun to watch even though we only saw Dutch in John's mind. John's injury caused his lung to collapse and he was close to death. They encountered people who could help them, but they kept being betrayed. But that led to a lot of excitement. Drastic solution was implemented and everything changes.
It was great to see the other team members.

Johnny is the star of this season. He is no longer the love-struck do-right brother. I am enjoying his transformation. I just hope it does not go too far in the wrong direction.
There was some excitement when they found the ship and Lucy activated the destruct protocol.
Our girl is back, but something is wrong.

What to Expect
There was suffering for almost everyone. Johnny’s brain switched from Hullen to Johnny and back to Hullen. The parasite caused pressure on his brain and he kept banging his head against the wall to relieve the pressure. Ouch!
Zeph is an amazing scientist and she recognized a way to save Johnny.
Delle Seyah’s labor is not proceeding in the normal way. The baby’s growth has accelerated while it is still inside her and Zeph did everything she could to save both Delle Seyah and the baby. Delle Seyah was extremely ungrateful!
The lady in the green assumed various disguises and beat Dutch over and over again.
D’Avin was going through mental torture because he was worrying about everyone.
It is not clear to me what happened when the spider-like creature attacked Pip. I thought it went inside of him, but nothing else has been revealed.
Dutch is back, but the Hullen problem has not been resolved.

Killjoys was exciting. D’Avin’s son grew quickly, the same way Jack did on Supernatural. Babies are cute, but older Jaq is exciting. He is brave and he has abilities that he does not yet understand. Dutch taught Jaq self-defense lessons because children of the Quad are being kidnapped as the Lady tries to find her son. We saw some action in this one and it was good to see Dutch fighting again.
Training became awkward when Dutch was going to let Jaq watch an assassin be tortured for information. D’Avin was furious and he argued with Dutch. D’Av is very protective of his son and decided it was time for the two of them to take a road trip.
Gared was taken in the previous episode by the people who kidnapped the children. Pree (former Warlord) told Fancy he was going to rescue his man. Pree let himself be taken so he can lead Fancy to the location. Those people have turned the RAC into some type of horror chamber.
Pippin was still infected by the Hullen spider. After he left the ship with D’Av’s son, Zeph was ordered to examine him. She located the spider in his brain. She tried to kill it, but she realized killing it would also kill Pippin. Pippin does not have long to live unless Zeph can get to a state-of-the art lab. I could tell Zeph cares about Pippin more than she has admitted.
Johnny is once again in harmony with the team and he stayed out of trouble.
Delle Seyeh left on her own mission and, of course, she lied to the team about what she is planning.

This was intereting because I never thought about what happened to Aneela's mother. Sometimes, it seemed that Aneela was never human, but she was.
I love Dutch and her crew, but currently, Pree and Gared are more entertaining.
