“Killjoys” was fun to watch. Ashmore asked the fans to watch when the show aired to help the ratings so I made sure to do that.
Let me guess: The lion/John, the witch/Dutch, and the warlord/Pree?
Watching the nerds and D’avin together is hilarious.
A lot happened in the bar. Johnny is Level V *happy dance*. Aw, Dutch loves him and saved him from getting all five punches from Turin. I think Turin was getting a little payback with those punches. (Do the jokes about Turin’s hair ever make you think of Sam Winchester jokes?)
I was impressed by Gared’s blush when Pree talked to him. Pree seems to be drawn to macho men.
Turin told Johnny that Dutch blocked him from reaching Level V. That had repercussions later.
Flik and other Killjoys served a Black Warrant on John. After the fight broke out, Johnny asked Dutch if he should turn himself in. She replied, “Shut up and shoot!” lol
There is so much fun dialogue – when Pree said if they want to get ahead of the other ships, they should schooch. Lucy replied “Schooching.”
D’avin is so bad – he shot Gared with the stun gun for the fun of it. Made me laugh. Then I kept laughing when Gared kept banging Flik’s head on the floor during interrogation.
Lucy said John sounded emotional and asked him if he required a tissue.
That was just the first ten minutes.
The rest of it was good too.
At the end, I was hoping nerd Zeph does nothing else to the device while she is alone.

Some more faces to remember I still do not like Zeph, but she is smart. I remember Gared. He moved into Pree's bar and refused to give it back to him. Pree's Killjoy friends made him hurt a little for that. He is so mellow and forgiving now -very funny. Delle Seyah Kendry is the one I did not recognize. She became Queen of the Nine. Johnny hated her for killing his lady and took revenge by shooting her. Well, we now know she is full on Hullen and very much alive. She is also Aneela's pet. Banyon Grey is the boss of the Reclamation Apprehension Coalition. Turin is not sure if she is working for the Hullen or not, but he does not trust her. Turin changed from being Dutch's adversary to being an ally.

I loved "The Lion, the Witch and the Warlord," all except for the gross man kisses. Ok, ok, I know I'm a conservative prude. I love Primm, I just don't want to see him in action. So Johnny finally gets his Level 5 rating. About time. Interesting initiation, though. Turin was able to shut down the baddies for a little time for John to get away from the Black Warrant baddies. How were they able to follow them to Primm's planet? Did you love his hair? I think I like him bald better. The fight between John and Dutch was great. The third one, where they began telling each other truths was a little tough, but I know they won't hold it against each other. "Did you have a good sleep?" That stupid helper-nerd is going to hold out on our group with how she opened the sphere? Kill her. Now.

Oh yeah, that kiss with Lachlan was much too long and intense. I like him bald also. I almost did not recognize him with all that hair. It is fun to learn about all of the things he has been involved in.
Flik introduced himself and gave Johnny a drink. There was a tracker in the drink. Gared should have dropped him on his head a couple more times because Flik seemed much too bouncy and happy.
You know what would really set me off? If the nerd and D'avin hook up. She seems to really like him.

Killjoys “Attack the Rack” was written by Shernold Edwards and was directed by Jeff Renfroe. Edwards other credits include Hand of God, Sleepy Hollow, and Haven. As so often with this show we begin right in the middle of the action, with D’avin (Luke Macfarlane) and Dutch (Hannah John-Kamen).
The mission is to gather the other RAC Captains and the team enlists Turin (Patrick Garrow) and Fancy’s (Sean Beak) help. Benji (Luc Trottier) and Macavoy (Erik Knudsen) are also back for the bigger mission to start cleaning out the RAC.
Dutch promises the team what she always does – if she gets them in, she’ll get them out. But this time, she can’t entirely keep that promise. John (Aaron Ashmore) does what he does best – he’s the tech/nerd support.
Delle (Mayko Nguyen) is up to her old tricks, and Gander (Ted Atherton) starts to lose the upper hand.
Look for a scene right out of Star Wars (and by that I mean what many refer to as The New Hope). There’s a super fight scene across a long table that is backlit. There are also parallel interrogation scenes. Dutch discovers that at least one person she thought was either human or Hullen is the opposite. An old weapon comes to the rescue.
This is an action-packed episode that really ratchets up the tension. Don’t forget to tune in to Syfy July 28 at 8/7c – and look for the title of the episode to have a dual meaning.
And here are a few dialogue teasers:
Manipulation is not an emotion. I’ve seen kittens play better mind games. Sweep, search, skewer. I don’t do nervous. We have guns. They have no pants. My ears need a shower… and counselling! If they look like us, isn’t it hay in a hay stack? Boys? Time to slice and dice. It’s a banana. Real power is direct. I double-dog dare you…

Okay, I am staring at the title. I do not think they are talking about Dutch's boobies, so it must be the RAC.

The kidnapping of the Killjoys was amusing, but I needed brain bleach when they walked in on the sex scene.
Great pep talk from Dutch, but the coup went wrong very quickly. It was not the team’s fault though because the jerk betrayed them. Banyon’s death was a tragedy.
I was happy to see Fancy, but it is unfortunate the way that turned out. I wonder if Fancy will be willing to work with Dutch’s team after Turin let him down.
The genetic code weapon should even the odds for the Killjoys against the Hullen, but I was a wee bit concerned about the possibility of it having an effect on D’avin.
Aneela is treacherous. I am sure some of her Hullen were on the station she blew up. I keep waiting for her to kill Delle.

“Dutch” is very busy. Look at her 2018 schedule.
2018 Ant-Man and the Wasp (pre-production) - Ghost
2018 Ready Player One (post-production) - F'Nale Zandor
2018 Tomb Raider (post-production) - Sophie

I have to acknowledge Dutch's fantastic dash down the long table trying to save the frightened Killjoy. She is fearless. I want to watch that scene again. I was too caught up in the action to re-wind it.

Really enjoyed this one. Lots of action. Had to laugh, Anti, to your reaction to the title! . Bringing in the three RAC commanders to help with exterminating the Hullen in their ranks was a good idea, but the actual act sure fell apart quickly. The we find out it's because of a stupid traitor. Too bad Dutch couldn't keep her promise of bringing all the newbies out alive. Poor Johnny and Dav. Especially Johnny....second time he was captured and tortured. Glad his brother was there to try to keep him from being mind-wiped. However, he didn't seem to worse for wear when they finally made it out. So what is it about Davin that makes Aneela want him so bad? Is it because he seems to be able to "digest" the green stuff and still remain human? Glad she never got the chance to test him. Good old Johnny finds that genetic weapon and blasts all the Hullen!! Too bad Dutch stabbed Banyon. She could have been a good friend to have later. And poor Fancy. First he's proud that he's been "cleansed" of his Hullen nature but then feels betrayed by Turin for not letting him out of the cage. I hope this doesn't come back to hurt the group later. Good episode!!

Necropolis NowIt was a suspenseful episode. Dutch does not handle guilt well and she does not handle rejection well either. Poor D'avin. Dutch kept pouting and would not talk to him. I have to agree with John that the rejection scene was more awkward than catching them in the act. I would not have thought Lucy's sister was capable of such a diabolical plan. Death by parasite is a painful way to die. Both Jacobi brothers had to step in at a moment's notice to save the day. They are good at that. Well, nerdy Zeph has been trying to alert the team about her findings. I am not interested in Aneela's and Delle Seyah's relationship except John will be able to use that against Delle Seyah in the future. I do not really understand what they were doing to Delle Seyah, but no one should underestimate Aneela because she is extremely strong and deadly. Looks like Gander might be gone, but he is Hullen; so, maybe not. Gander

Good but a bit confusing episode.
I'm getting a little tired of the Davin/Dutch interaction. Are they going to be partners or lovers? I would prefer partners. The love aspect could ruin the whole show. Love Johnny's reaction to their antics.
So all the nine leaders are getting together to attend the funeral of 5 who? RAC officers? Other 9 members? I just wasn't sure. But it must have been some who were blown up in last week's ending.
I've never seen the priest interact with people above ground. He usually was underground. Who poisoned his "communion" wafers? Yucky way each of them died.
Johnny to the rescue. He figures out it's Pawter's sister. She never got over the deaths at her home. But wasn't it their mother that initiated it?
Which 9 was Dutch talking to in the bar? I don't remember seeing him before. I wonder if she was able to convince him that the 9 should finance their war against the Hullen.
Dutch convinces Davin to talk outside after he grabs a bottle of booze. But the nerd shows up and tells Dutch she discovered something......off they going leaving Davin to come out of the bar with the booze but no one to talk to.
I always look forward to the next week's episode.

Random thoughts:
Why was Aneela's hair blond when she was talking to Khlyen?
Why was Delle Seyah's belly so rounded when we saw her after she was dragged away?
Is every prime time show required by law to give us same-sex intimate scenes?

Good but a bit confusing episode. I'm getting a little tired of the Davin/Dutch interaction. Are they going to be partners or lovers? I would prefer partners. The love aspect could ruin the whole show. Love Johnny's reaction to their antics. I agree. Dutch uses sex to cope with stress, but she needs to use someone other than D'avin. I wonder if D'avin pushed her away because he does not want to upset his relationship with his brother again. I was not able to understand who the special corpses were either. I thought the 9 cared only about themselves. They did not explain how Pawter's sister switched the seeds, but she must have. Yep, but she needed someone to blame. They skipped over what will happen to her. Remember the man who was really irritating Alvis Akaris until the priest said something like "You know I am innocent because you would be the first one I would kill." That is the man Dutch was talking to. The 9 seem like cowards so he will probably run, unless he is afraid of what the Killjoys will do to him. That was rude, but I think Dutch relished having an excuse to avoid the conversation with D'avin. Me too.

They took sci-fi to another level in this episode. My brain was screaming, "What just happened?!" when Dutch was "born". I think Khylen handled that very well. He always loved Aneela and truly was trying to protect her.
I realized last week and again this week that Aneela is not always evil. Her experiments were an attempt to save everybody and she is still trying. However, her jealousy and hatred of Dutch led her to destroy three RAC stations.
Bio-nerd Zeph is pretty darn smart, as John realized when she locked him out of Lucy's system. Lucy and John flirting never gets old. I love it.
I enjoyed seeing how John and Dutch met. It was nice to see John so lighthearted and carefree. However, I still do not understand what led to the death of Dutch's husband.
I wonder what the fans' reaction will be to D'avin taking lead in the war.
And now we are back to hating Turin again. He is lucky Fancy does not assassinate him.

Wow. I don't get it. Was Dutch created from "the green?" How did Aneela create her? Would that make her Dutch's mom? I'm confused.
LOVED seeing how Johnny and Dutch met. So John was a thief, huh? That was surprising. I wonder how he and Dutch became involved with the RAC?
So Davin seems to be taking over. I'm sorry to see Turin's bad side again. Let's hope he reforms and we get to see more of him.
Glad Fancy and all the other "cleansed" have stepped up to help fighting the war with the Hullen.
Even the "furry" guy from Pree's planet said his people will join in, too.
I wonder what Dutch will do with herself now?
Too many questions......I want some answers!

Not my favorite episode. Not enough real action. Dutch's new found beginnings is a little too forced for me. why would she die if Aneela dies since she never did when the anti-Hullen device was used in her proximity before. as I said, too little action, too much repetitious backstory. Hoping for better next week.

The most entertaining scenes involved them stealing the device needed to disrupt the Hullen army. I had to laugh when they locked D'avin's hands to the steering column. Best laid plans.... When Dutch started to punch the guy in the vehicle, he did a fake knockout to keep from getting hit. That was cute.
I asked after the previous episode why Delle Sayah's belly was round. She was impregnated with something, but Aneela is not sure what it will be. Delle Seyah is too calm about that.
I did not know Dutch had a death wish, but the thought of dying certainly cheered her up, and that is just wrong. I want the old Dutch back. It does not make sense to me either that Dutch would die if Aneela died.

I was cruising along with the episode and then several scenes surprised me. I thought of you (SoCal) when Dutch and D’avin were in close personal contact again! I kept expecting John to walk in on them (again).
I enjoy seeing Alvis and he did the priestly duty of reminding people that it was the day of reckoning. I am sure most of his friends have grudges or owe apologies. It was a good scene when he went to Fancy and made an apology. That probably led to Fancy being willing to talk to Turin.
Delle Seyah is carrying the product of The Devil and D’avin.
Another good scene was the bar scene where the woman was tossing back a lot of drinks and she turned out to be Gared’s mother. Pree is certainly a smooth talker.
I do not want to spoil anything in case you have not watched, so I am saving the best/most confusing for last. All of Dutch and D'avin's scheming and planning led to utter confusion. Well, I am confused, that’s for sure. I do not know how Aneela orchestrated the infiltration. Any ideas?

This was a great finale even though some of our people got hurt. Dutch is ready for action, but D’avin is still the general. When Turin showed up, D’avin did not want to let him join them, but Fancy vouched for Turin. Now that I am used to Turin, I have started to enjoy him and the comments about his hair. Aneela and her soldiers easily infiltrated Dutch’s ships to kill and kidnap. Alvis Akaris is dead, for real. I miss him. Then Aneela tried to kill John because he realized she was not Dutch. I enjoyed the battle between the RAC soldiers and Aneela’s Hullen. When D’avin went to the aid of John, Turin took charge of the soldiers. Not everyone was okay with that, but rejection and insults just roll off of Turin. Turin did a good job as leader and it helped that Fancy and the cleansed were manning the warships. I enjoyed Pree’s unusual honeymoon with his husband. They are so sweet together. They were also brave when bullets were winging past them. Their delight when the Hullen surrendered was a good moment. I was waiting to see what would happen when Dutch and Aneela were in the same room. In the beginning, it went as anticipated. They vented their anger and tried to hurt each other. The tide turned when Dutch injected her memories into Aneela. It is finally clear to me why Khylen took Dutch away and it was not just because Aneela was crazy. I think the ending was pretty cool and not bad for a cliffhanger. Some lighter moments: Zeph trying to stop John from leaving by blurting “I love you.” The nerdy crew member’s reaction to the battle and Zeph kissing the nerdy crew member. Turin’s “ass” jokes. All of the banter between Turin and Fancy makes me laugh. (I recall a cast member saying on Twitter after an earlier episode that he was surprised that they leave in those comments.) Turin tried to sabotage the Hullen, but his “pepper grinder” failed. When the Hullen quipped maybe Turin was going to toss his salad, that was hilarious. When someone said they were going to roast on that planet, Pree quipped “It’s a dry heat.” Fans who suffer through miserable humidity like I do will really appreciate the humor. I think my favorite chuckles came from D’avin when he insisted on discussing baby issues with Delle Seyah. He asked how she felt about circumcism, names, how much influence Aneela would have and other irritating questions.

Wargasm was a terrific episode. Terrific season ender, just sorry it is the season ender. syFy needs to extend popular show's season length.
Glad Dutch was able to insert her memories into Aneela.
Glad John was able to save himself and baby-mama, well, not so much baby-mama. Wonder where their floating cylinder is going to end up.
Glad Turin finally showed us he's a good guy, and that Fancy was able to put his feeling toward Turin aside to save him from the Hullen.
I wonder when the next season starts?
Anti, my favorites are aviously: John, and Turin, Fancy and Pree. How about you?
