Black Lightning was exciting. Lala continued to threaten the Pierces because they were talking to the police. Another issue was LaWanda said Lala was holding her daughter in the hotel and she was determined to get her back. She camped outside of the hotel and recorded everyone going into the building. I knew she was in danger.
I like the way Black Lightning approaches a fight. He does not talk them to death; he goes in fighting.
We now know there is a line Tobias will not cross so shooting someone’s mama (LaWanda) gave Lala a death sentence.
One thing I wish was different is he needs a suit that protects his body better, maybe knife proof and bullet proof.
Inspector Henderson looked stunned when he saw Black Lightning's face and I wonder if he recognized him.

his powers are almost like livewire but he faster and tough like the suit as well.

I really did enjoy the episode. I was glad Jefferson chose to help the marchers because the police cannot be trusted. He looked good tossing the lightning bolts at the shooters.
His daughter, Anissa, is learning to control her strength. I wonder if she will tell her family since her friend did not believe her.
I like Khalil and it is a shame he was injured even though he was not the target.
I do not think Black Lightning knows Tobias is the big boss and there was a mystery at the end of the episode. Peter Gambi was watching the video of Tobias in the car and he erased that part of the video. Is he on Tobias' payroll too?
Marvin "Krondon" Jones III/Tobias has a lot of fans. I wondered why people were rooting for the villain. It was because he is a popular rapper and actor, but I did not know him.

There was a funny scene when 2-bits wanted to take a selfie before Black Lightning knocked him out. When he asked Black Lightning to light up for the picture, he just knocked him out.
Tobias has a sister named Tori who is as devious as him. She suggested Tobias turn Khalil against Black Lightning.
I liked seeing Anisa/Thunder knock the drug dealers out, but she hit them harder than she intended.
I thought Lady Eve was embalming a corpse, but the boy opened his eyes. She must be making zombies.

I enjoyed the episode even though Black Lightning is having issues that interfere with his fighting. He also seems more violent than before.
The episode revealed some answers to things I wondered about:
A vaccine was given to children 20 years ago that gave them enhanced abilities. When Black Lightning's father investigated the story as a reporter, he was murdered by Tobias.
I think Jefferson and his daughters somehow gained enhanced abilities from those vaccines.
Tobias was given some type of drug that prevents him from aging, but there are (unknown) side affects.
Eve sent an envelope to Tobias with a powdered substance which was a threat of what will happen if he does not kill Black Lighting soon.

Also, I wondered how Black Lightning was able to shoot lightning from his body. He "grabs" elements from the air around him and is able to shoot them as lightning. Watch the circular movement of his hands as he prepares to fight.
We also learned why Gambi deleted Tobias' image from the video in the other episode. Gambi did not want Black Lightning to know Tobias was back in town because he knew Black Lightning would zap out.
