I forgot to mention that Sherlock pouted because Joan asked another man to use his nose to identify evidence. Sherlock is either possessive of Joan or he was insulted that she would ask someone other than him.
Regarding tonight's episode, I know what a dominatrix is, but I am curious to see what a "financial dominatrix" does.

So have they taken off CBS yet? I thought they had but it was a problem with a tuning adapter. I'm not sure how to explain that if you don't have it. Have you watched this past Mon episode yet? My post is above and I thought of more to say. It goes without saying, I suppose, but I sure like Watson's clothes. I forgot one thing and was reminded over the weekend because Charlotte got the 2020 Republican Convention. Washburn, the name of the company mentioned on the show, is the name of the former TV/radio reporter and the current Andy Rooney (occasionally) of The Charlotte Observer. Tonight's episode looks good. Thanks for sharing.

It was very good. The investigation took a surprising turn as they finally realized why the woman was kidnapped.
Sherlock did a good deed for Detective Bell. He has developed respect for Bell over the years and encouraged him to become a U.S. Marshall. That was nice and I appreciate the way he explained his reason to Bell. Both Bell's lady and Capt. Gregson were supportive of the possible change.

He has developed respect for Bell over the years and encouraged him to become a U.S. Marshall. That was nice and I appreciate the way he explained his reason to Bell. Both Bell's lady and Capt. Gregson were supportive of the possible change. I've never cared for Bell but I don't want him to leave. It's surprising that Gregson would be so supportive of his leaving, but of course he wants to see Bell do well. He mentored Bell and now it's time to let him go. Sort of like Sherlock and Watson. And I guess Sherlock had a point about Bell not getting to do as much once Gregson retires. I get the impression the other cops don't like Bell that much. Or am I thinking of Sherlock? Either way, Bell and Sherlock work closely together and that wouldn't be a positive to those cops that don't like Sherlock. Who was it that commented on the second weirdest name he or she knows? I just know "Sherlock" is the other one. I meant to say earlier that I was surprised in addition to everything else, Sherlock has artistic talent. And I forgot to mention Clyde was mentioned. Watson is never surprised by people who care too much about pets.

Breathe - This episode of Elementary had the most farfetched theory on who killed Frisk that I have seen on the show. All I could do was shake my head.
However, there were two other issues Sherlock and Joan were focused on. During the investigation of Frisk’s murder, they learned there had been numerous assassinations that were made to look like something else. Sherlock focused on a 2014 hit requested by a greedy man who bought medicine when it was cheap and then increased the price so high that people could not afford it. Sherlock worked his magic to bring the man to justice.
The most recent real-life case I can remember is the manufacturer of the Epi pen raised the price that way. During an interview, the owner was smug and proud that he was able to do it.
Joan’s attorney who was supposed to help her with the adoption made two mistakes that caused the agency to stop considering Joan as a candidate to adopt. The attorney was very casual about it all and declined to help her correct the problem. I adored the conversation Sherlock had with Joan, and he was very helpful in resolving the issue.

I wasn't pleased with the drug company buying the drug and raising the price. This is why we need government and if companies don't want to be over-regulated, they'd better behave themselves and not pull stunts like this.
I especially didn't like that this was done with cystic fibrosis. My cousin had this. I met her once after her grandmother died when she was a teenager. I had hoped to see her again if her father had a Christmas celebration or something, though I never get together with his family. I heard from him several years ago when he wanted some stuff that belonged to my father, and he said his daughter was in the hospital and told me how to follow her progress. She had a lung transplant but it was unsuccessful and she passed away. But she had done very well with the disease.
I was pleased at how Sherlock helped Watson with her problem. I couldn't believe the lawyer treated her like that. Sherlock really seems like he will be hands on with the child. Watson actually smiled in his presence! Has she ever done that?
As usual, Sherlock annoyed Watson several times.
I was watching another show but I can't remember which one. I think the character must have been gay because someone nicknamed him "Sherlock" with a last name I got in trouble for saying here because I didn't know how to link to the offensive content. So I won't be saying it again.

I was reading the comics and someone was wearing a Sherlock hat. I was reminded that I think someone was wearing that hat when Sherlock and Watson were standing in line with people in costume.
I can never remember to try "Sherlock on Masterpiece". Surely I would like it. On "Pyramid" someone couldn't think of any British people other than Benedict Cumberbatch.
I was reminded by what Sherlock did to help Watson with her lawyer. These people wanted to be adopted as adults. Carol on "Last Man on Earth" did that. I don't remember why, but the group of six believed they were the last people on Earth.

"Through the Fog"
When Sherlock called the Captain to tell him the date the photographs of the precinct were taken, I like Sherlock’s response to a question.
Sherlock: “…the photograph must have been taken on July 2nd.”
Bell: You sure?
Sherlock: I will spare you the lecture on solar orbits and heavenly mathematics, and just say yes, I’m sure.
