The weird dream thread

I dreamed our new Info librarian was secretly a serial killer.
It totally made sense in the dream, and a little bit after I woke up too.

All of this is from just one night.

The current pastor of my church was the pastor of a church I apparently used to go to because I attended a supper for former pastors of that church which took place in the basement. I had never seen this church before, and someone told me how things were done because she assumed I had never been there, even though I must have been. The pastor's wife had her own church, as she does in real life (so she has an 11:00 service at a different church from her husband), so I never see her except on special occasions like this, and I was looking forward to seeing her there. She had fallen down those stairs going to the basement shortly after her husband became pastor there but she was better now.

Three short trains went through a town on the main railroad line in about a minute. Each engine had a 5-digit number. In real life they have 4-digit numbers.

My father was following a fire truck which was going out on an emergency call. It couldn't have been much of an emergency because we caught up to it. It was old and children were riding on the back.

I was driving through a black neighborhood and stopped at a church with a funny name. The Sunday service had just ended. I knew my parents went to this church, and in the choir room when they were taking off their robes my mother was the only white person.

I also dreamed about acres and acres of large balloons.

And my neighbor with the cats mowed my grass because I wasn't doing it. I did it this morning--at least the area close to his yard.

All I remember was the college I went to had a quad that looked like quads at long-established schools. And lots of old-style buildings with trees. In a sense, this is true, but it was on a level area. The new buildings at my college are in a hilly area and the trees are off to the side.

Can't really remember it, but I'm pretty sure it was Supernatural-related.

I was in a science class and looking at dirt under a microscope. I know it was weirder than that but that's all I remember.

And at home, my parents and I still had an attic. And there was so much stuff stored up there that I could see the ceiling starting to come down, and I needed to get up there and move the stuff before it did.

I was jogging with Donald Trump or at least some billionaire who looked like him.

The Spoonman had a dream where he was on a field with some girls playing football!!

and I told them to just give me the ball, AND I CAN SCORE!!!!

but they wouldn't hand it to me!!!

so I passed out some wine coolers, took it and scored the winning touthdown!!

then we went back to my dorm room.... they needed to be taught DISCIPLINE!!!

I had such a clear memory of Wednesday night's dream but never got around to making a note of it so I could post here.

I'm not sure, but I think it had something to do with someone from India and either three buildings or three giant piles of paperwork.

It wasn't last night, but I remembered while watching "Last Man Standing", where the wife is a geologist, that some science majors at one school (maybe the one I graduated from) were required to take French, German or Russian in order to do research in those languages. So somehow either I or someone else in the dream was doing that type of research.

I've had so many dreams lately that I remembered clearly when I woke up but not later.

I do remember riding through the country listening to a "real country" radio station playing bluegrass. There's more that actually makes that weird, but I don't remember it.

I saw an actual snake crawling out of a bush yesterday as I was working on the bush. In a dream I saw a much larger snake crawling down the side of the house from a bush.

I also saw a cat wearing a dress shirt in a dream.

I keep having this weird ass dream of floating in space with nothing around me. It freaks me out so much when I wake up I actually feel like I floated back into my body! I'm going mad.

It's start out with me looking into the sky (while still on earth) and seeing a giant spaceship rocketing to earth. then the floor move out from under me and I'm floating in space.

I can't remember any more than this, but J.R. Ewing was getting out of a car and something slammed into him and it was one of the landmark moments of TV history.

When I was in elementary school, there was no gas station at the main intersection in the community where the school was located. In my dream, I somehow ended up going back there after reading about the fabulous new convenience store. Only it appeared to be the same building that was there 40 years earlier, but nicer. It must have been a 76 before, I reasoned, though it was definitely a 76 in the dream.

A motel with a sombrero on its sign resembled one at the beach that was torn down several years ago. A small Charlotte radio station had taken it over. In the building was a hangout for Hispanics played country music (in English).

I made a note about one of my dreams but don't know what I did with it.

I just had a dream where I had wanted to die but wasn't sure if I wanted to, then I got shot in the chest, close to my heart and died... and next thing I know, I was alive again, but I was kinda like an angel of sorts... the best way I can describe it is like a whitelighter from Charmed. But this was not a Charmed universe, nor were there witches and such. My name was Chloe and I looked like this after I was brought back to life:



That's what Chloe Sullivan looked like in an episode of Smallville, 10th season and that's the same episode where I got my first quote in my signature from.

Disclaimer: I promise you, I'm not planning on going anywhere anytime soon (meaning I am NOT suicidal and I'm NOT gonna put myself in danger)... that's just what happened in my dream.
