The weird dream thread

I don't remember most of the dreams I mentioned on the CW site, though the details I put there weren't much anyway.

Here's one I do remember: my grandmother died and I was at the church for her funeral. I didn't recognize this church but thre road beside it looked similar to the road where I live. I saw a hearse coming so I went back inside but the casket was already on its way out.

I had a dream where the sky was a rust color....and so was the ground.
Everyone was living in the sewer networks because the radiation was too intense on the surface.

And then some people invented a time sphere.....sent an assassin back in time with a sticky bomb.....and killed a scientist who specialized in uranium enrichment.

oh i have a good one ok. so recently i was dreaming i had superpowers the ability to fly super strength and moving things i was kidnapped by some secret men in black type people who wanted to abuse my powers and then i get an interview request with the guy who plays the brains on leverage his character is nate ford. so weird !

I had such a clear memory of a dream when I woke up in the middle of the night Saturday night. Now I don't remember anything. I do know I was having a nice dream when the clock radio came on today.

Okay, the last two dreams I've had were very wierd and I remember them so clearly:

One is a Sims 3 type of dream. I'm guessing because I just recently got ambitions and that's where you can get hit my meteors. Well, I was at home with my husband and he and I were outside watching the stars when we start seeing meteors. They were going in slow motion and looked like as if you were seeing meteors falling in the Sims 3 game. One had fall in our house and we could see the meteors passing by from inside. We didn't get hit though at least. In my dream was my sim-self and my make believe husband, because that's the couple I play the most.

The other dream was like it came from a paranormal movie or something. I was shopping in the grocerystore in a small town sometime in the future where there were high levels of radiation in some places. As I was going past the frozen isle, one person had opened the door to get a frozen item out, and apparently that section was contaminated my radiation and we did not know that yet. The door fell and we all ran out as the lights turned off then the door locked and the place was sealed so no radiation came out.

One dream I had was that i was looking for my mom and everytime I thought I found her it turned out I found my dad instead, weird!

I dreamed about someone who looked like Michael J. Fox, who for some reason I've now forgotten was considered a pervert.

I have dreamed about Michael J. Fox being involved with me several times and each time i make sure i make a note of it and turn it into a story i can perhaps write

I dreamed a man who went to my church and died several years ago was near death but had not been baptized, so he was being baptized (using a font and a small amount of water; the font was in the dream), but I didn't recognize the place where it was happening. What's really weird is this man was one of our most devoted members and he surely would have been baptized.

There were also a bunch of kids (not necesarily in the same dream) who appeared to be doing whatever the Little Rascals did. Whether this was real life or an update of the films, I don't know.

I dreamed once that a giant parakeet that looked like the one I used to petsit for was pecking my eyes out and I woke up screaming, my parents asked me at the time if I was having a bully picking on me and I explained that this wasn't the case and we all agreed this was indeed a strange dream

I dreamed there was a tornado warning like there was last year, whatever that is, and I was in many different places over the course of the night preparing. One of those places was a hallway in my grandparents' house. There were also several outdoor locations like a college.

I had one dream where my mom and I are at church and my dad is with us and he's sitting in the middle between us and I have a huge stack of heavy books in my arms and they keep dropping and falling on a friend's head who is sitting behind us. Very strange indeed

I forgot one detail from the series of dreams I had with the tornado warning. I wrote this all down when I wasn't signed in here, and I found it. There were a bunch of alternative rock bands performing in alphabetical order.

I have a recurring dream about plane crashes

All of this was in one night.

I was coming out of a side street onto the main road. I couldn't see because it was Spring and the tree was blooming and blocking my view. A big truck was coming down the road and I almost didn't see it.

I was on the main road driving through a black section of town. It wasn't a side street and we weren't supposed to slow down. But kids were playing in the street and I had to dodge them. One little girl just sat there as I went around her. Others were under my car as I passed over them without touching them.

I was in a building like a sorority house where a girl I went to high school with lived. She opened a recipe book and pulled out the illustration of a chicken or turkey dish and it turned into the meal that it illustrated. An older woman, apparently the cook, kissed her and her friend on the cheek, and then me.

I put a cat in a cat carrier and put that in the trunk of my car and when I opened the trunk after arriving I found my mother in the trunk hidden under something. It didn't bother her that she was there.

A beautiful cat was black and white with a complicated pattern of stripes. Then it turned into George Washington, the tuxedo cat I had as a child who was born around the time I had a birthday party with a George Washington theme. Because I ahd the party on Washington's birthday.

I sometimes dream I am talking with my dad again and when I wake up it makes me miss him because it's been nearly 3 years since he died.

I had a very weird dream last night, I was at the college's newspaper office that I used to attend and we were sitting around talking and i noticed that one of old principals at my old elementary school's birthday was coming up and they said yes they knew this because they have something to show me, they open up the vents to where the lights are in the ceiling and we climb up with no ladder but yet we manage to climb up and we go in there and there are old yearbooks up there from various high schools in the area and the editior mentions that some of the high schools used to be combined into one single school, then we climb down and i get one of the yearbooks and we have an ice cream social of mint chocolate chip ice cream with caramel sauce and peanut pieces

The worst thing about the dreams I've had in the past few months is that they are so vivid that I wake up exhausted from all the activity I do in the dream -- usually frustrating work back at college or walking/jogging home from work miles away because I forgot that I drove to work.

I was going to bed, in a house that looked very different from the one I live in, and my father asked what the low was going to be. He used to do that so he could set the thermostat. I have no such luxury, given the price of oil. He also asked what the high had been that day, which he didn't do. That's something I want to know, not him.

In another dream, or perhaps the same dream, I was part of a group writing a book. I had done most of the typing (on a computer) and the book was printed out and put in a three-ring notebook. I was in charge of naming the chapters at that point, and I was giving them very boring names.

I went to bed in that dream and there was a computer at the foot of the bed (my real one is in the living room) which was on (I turn mine off if it's not in use).
