Tonight's show couldn't have been better and to me, the best part is what Georgie did when he finally made it to Mandy's hospital room. Her dad finally growing a backbone and telling her mom what needed to be said was another great moment. When Mrs. Cooper finally got to the hospital, in my opinion "Thank you!" is what should've come from her mouth when she saw Mrs. Sparks because Mrs. S. was Mandy's ride to the hospital. Also, what was said about her love life could very much be true due to the fact that Mr. Cooper introduced her to the high school principal a while back and at the end of the day, because there hasn't been any real physical contact between pastor Rob and Mrs. Cooper or any between Mr. Cooper and Mrs. Sparks, the only thing that they are truly guilty of right now is their completely forgetting about Missy and Billy. I hope that they make it home from school okay. God bless you always!!! Holly P.S. The name that Georgie and Mandy decided on didn't surprise me. Why not name their little girl after the woman who has been there for Mandy the most?  |

It was a great episode, especially Sheldon.
No cell phones back then, apparently. There were cell phones, but not people carrying them everywhere.
My phone looks like the Coopers' phone that was ringing.

I don't know how the next episode is going to start, but I would love for it to begin with Mrs. Sparks finding Billy and Missy somewhere in Medford on their way home from school and drives them the rest of the way home. It would only be another reason for Mr. and Mrs. Cooper to tell her "Thank you!" Because that lady lives next door to the Coopers, a here and there interaction with them is going to happen especially if Missy and Billy continue to have anything to do with each other. Pastor Rob was only in the picture to add more to the story considering the fact that him and Mrs. Cooper no longer have a professional working relationship. My only question is, does she still attend the services at that church at least?

After tonight's episode, all that I wanted to do was put my arms around Missy. I do have one question for her self-absorbed parents: Would you rather your daughter be like Paige? Actually, that brings me to another question. Do Mr. and Mrs. Cooper even know about the latest encounter that their twins have had with Paige? I guess that the only other questions to ask are where is Missy going and how much of a punishment will she receive once her parents learn what it is that she is out there doing now. I pray that she isn't arrested for going as far as she has gone. I wouldn't be surprised if her parents were dumb enough to go to such a length when this whole mess is their own fault.

P.S. All that Mandy and Georgie need to do is remember all that they have learned from their parents. Also, we sadly will not know what happens next until March 30th which is three weeks from tonight.

What a great episode. I was fortunate that I checked my newest TiVo in order to delete as many recordings as possible, because I found out this did not record. 30 minutes was saved on an older TiVo (see the Vent Thread) and I joined the show as Sheldon was learning to throw a football. Online I saw the rest. Some people say the show would be better without him but last night showed he is still important. And it was funny he said he towers over Dr. Sturgis. I never realized he was that little.
Did I miss something? I just saw Missy pack up and leave.

^^^ Yeah and not only is Missy alone this time, but she drives off in her dad's truck when she isn't even close to being older enough for a drivers license.

Since Barbra Jean is on this show, I thought this was an appropriate place to mention that Van from "Reba" is a spy on "True Lies". I didn't see his name in the credits until this week. I didn't recognize him but he is a lot older.

^^^ I saw the first episode of Van's new show. It wasn't bad, but I was under the impression that his life as a spy was going to stay a secret from his family. Not to ruin the show with this kind of spoiler, but his wife finds out about his extracurricular activity near the end of the first episode.

That cop was in contact with the cops who were already searching. She found the truck.
One of the best episodes yet and Sheldon is acting so much like he did on his other show.
Missy and Paige were fun even if what they did was illegal. I am surprised they were on a two-lane road but an interstate would have been too dangerous. I was amazed at how well she could drive.

Tonight's show was good. I love how Sheldon was nice enough to fill Missy in on what she is missing out on of her favorite TV show. Even though I am happy that Mrs. Cooper and Mrs. Sparks came to an understanding, I wouldn't have blamed Mrs. Cooper if she had said when answering the door knock, "If you don't stop bugging me, I will have you arrested! Do keep in mind that a cop lives in the other house next door to me!"

There was a loophole in Missy's punishment. What she listens to isn't music. In fact, it might be punishment for her to listen to actual music.
That was nice of Sheldon. He's developing a taste for something he wouldn't have. I wasn't watching "90210" that consistently but I knew something about the show.
And it was a good episode.
Georgie is too good to be true.

^^^ True, but ever since he learned that he got Mandy pregnant, he has been there for her every step of the way. I love what Mandy had to say about him when her mom started trashing him. She was like, "You do not get to bad mouth Georgie! He has been more of a parent than you will ever be!"

^^^ I've seen that guy on his earlier show named Mike and Molly. To me, he looks great, but he looks like too much weight has been lost in his face. The sad thing though is that if he were to try and gain some of his weight back, it will only go anywhere it wants to on his body.

I think Missy did the right thing. She knew what was right but she should go the party.
Sheldon was hilarious trying to get permission to use the telescope. But real research is boring.
Someone online said Sheldon messed up the "Star Trek" episode summary. Well, Iain can only say what was written for him.

Tonight's show couldn't have been better although we don't know yet how things ended up going for Mandy during her job audition which started out really well I thought. I guess we will find out next week.

P.S. By the way, I've seen it said that a writer's strike may be happening now. I wonder if it will have any affect on this show when it is supposed to come back in the fall.

Tonight's show was good, but of course we just had to be left with questions. Mandy's weather lady job was never mentioned and so we still don't know yet if she scored the job. The even bigger question is who broke into MeMaw's gambling space? My guess is that the cop did it. He knows that MeMaw can only do so much about what happened because going all the way with reporting the break in would only dig her own hole where the authorities are concerned with the place being an illegal business and all. ^^^ I can't help but wonder if Reba McEntire's character could be the perpetrator. She's been on the ABC show named Big Sky this past season which is why she has not been on Young Sheldon lately. With Big Sky not coming back in the fall, maybe she can return to Young Sheldon. She would be the perfect person to be the one who broke into the gambling room due to the money that MeMaw could still owe her from the last time that we saw her on there.

Tonight's hour finale was awesome! I am surprised that Sheldon was given the time of day by that man on the plane. After all, Sheldon was going to ask the guy to autograph a vomit bag! I hope that Mandy's mother is banned from what is planned to happen once Sheldon and Mrs. Cooper are back from Germany. My question concerning what ends up happening with MeMaw is why didn't she have a safe somewhere in her house? Another question about her is what gave her and Dale the impression that the gambling room would be a safer spot compared to the laundry place or the video store? When Missy cries to her dad at the end, I only wanted to put my arms around her because all that I could think of is what that girl experienced in real life earlier this year. I pray that the drunk driver who hit her and her mother was given the maximum sentence. God bless you and everyone who makes this wonderful show happen always!!! Holly P.S. The preview that we are given at the end makes me wonder if the new season will be delayed at all due to the writer's strike. |
