During the Andrew Lloyd Webber tribute, a clip was shown of a lady singing "Don't Cry for Me, Argentina". I was pleased to hear Sheldon sing it in the episode. He is so talented.

I loved it during last night's new episode when Sheldon spoke his mind on the school's loud speaker after trapping the principal and his secretary inside his office. God bless you and that beautiful little precious always!!! Holly P.S. "This is Sheldon Lee Cooper signing off!"

Now that was hilarious. I thought there was always an understudy, but seeing Jason Alexander as Annie ... I can't imagine Sheldon giving up science. But it's clear he shouldn't try acting. Annie would have just been weird. His sister and brother both continue to impress. I loved it during last night's new episode when Sheldon spoke his mind on the school's loud speaker after trapping the principal and his secretary inside his office. Me too.

Jiu-Jitsu, Bubble Wrap, and Yoo-Hoo
SEASON 1, EPISODE 17 • NEW 8:31 PM ON WJZDT 13 • TV-PG • STEREO • CC • DVS
Sheldon is bullied by an unlikely character; Mary and George disagree on how to handle the situation.

The fathers were the funniest ones when it came to handling the bully situation. I laughed when Herschel and George went to the shed to avoid their wives because Mary and Brenda are the ones with the hot temper. Key and Peele did an entire skit on men hiding from their wives and it was very funny.
When Mary asked if Sheldon felt stronger, the manner in which he said “no” instantly reminded me of older Sheldon. Iain perfected the mannerism.
Missy is back on the naughty list.

God bless you always!!!

Brenda was Barbara Jean on 'Reba". I didn't recognize her at first. Her husband, as I have mentioned, was Mike on "Mike and Molly", and Ruby's husband on "Good Girls" was his partner.
I liked how Missy behaved. And all the jokes involving Meemaw.
I liked seeing George and the other husband making friends and the comment on how the football team didn't smell any better.

It's not really that I like her behavior. I like her and when she's naughty, she's entertaining. Anti and I have a similar disagreement with Annie on "Good Girls". Despite her immoral behavior she's entertaining.

To me, an exception should've been made for Sheldon during last night's episode of this show when he asked the guy at Radio Shack for a job. Yeah, the kid is only nine years old, but it was as clear as crystal glass that he knew how to move the merchandise.
God bless you always!!!

I suppose Sheldon could have been successful at that job. But there was a time when kids his age were taken advantage of, and that's the reason for regulations.
What Sheldon's sister was annoyed by should have been called a tornado WARNING. It annoys me when they get that wrong on TV. Only a warning is urgent, though during a watch if a warning has not been issued, it could still be serious. That was scary footage.
It was funny that Mary said comic books were for kids. That one comic book was too adult. And of course we know how Sheldon and his adult friends feel about them.
Poor Sheldon, trying to learn to do everything an adult does.
It was funny when he rejected MIT for being an engineering school. I would think he could find a good school closer. I don't even remember where he went. Cal Tech, of course, is where he works now, so he must have changed his mind about California.

The only part I did not think was funny was the tornado, but the rest was pretty good. The Guidance Counselor was more helpful than I anticipated and that was good. Georgie makes me laugh more than anyone else on the show. His room did look good, but, of course, there had to be a catch. Kyle, Chuck Lorre's message at the end was for people like you. I am surprised you did not comment on the music.

I don't remember what about the music I was supposed to comment on. You have a knack for detecting when the music or something else does not fit in the time period. Lorre posted a long tongue-in-cheek scientific explanation about why he used music from the "future" in the episode. I thought you would comment on it.

Okay, you didn't get it. All of Chuck Lorre's messages at the end of shows are on a web site. But if I don't record the show that airs after the one that had the message, I don't see the message. I do have a comment. I watched a movie set in the 1950s and the date of a particular scene was 1950. The car was made many years later and had a radio that played songs that wouldn't be recorded for years.

I liked seeing Junior help Missy but it was seeing Sheldon in a college class that was my favorite part. Who would have believed he would get bored there because he already knew the information?
And of course Meemaw dating the professor. I really liked him. He has played a lot of characters I've seen over the years.

Adult Sheldon has committed this show to certain events. The writers must surely be making sure everything is consistent. Young Sheldon will turn 10 soon and we know he will have to have a dragon-themed party.

I saw last night's show. How many times is Mrs. Cooper going to get in the way of Sheldon trying to take care of things himself? First she screws up his trying to get a bank loan so that he could get himself a computer and now she takes the phone from him again when he is only trying to conquer his fear of dogs! What is the woman's problem? She should be happy that she has at least one kid who is trying to take care of his own problems himself. Would she rather him be like George Jr.?
God bless you always!!!
Holly
P.S. Also, if Mrs. Sparks is not a fan of that preacher man, why does she continue to go to the man's church?

In case anyone doesn't know (and no one else has admitted seeing it), Iain was on the Carpool Karaoke special (almost) in a Crosswalk version of "The Sound of Music". Allison Janney was really good as Maria. James Corden was ... ridiculous, also as Maria. They argued over who would play Maria and other things. All Iain did was refuse to be a part of it. He was really good in his two scenes where he commented. Some drivers enjoy the show, and others get frustrated at these people performing in the middle of traffic. No, I don't know the story behind this.
Sheldon couldn't even watch TV shows with dogs? Even I was a fan of "Lassie". I don't care for dog videos on "America's Funniest Home Videos". I have never made an effort to overcome my fear.
Meemaw really overdid it with the other mother. I was pleased the pastor talked to all of them. And it was funny what happened with him and the kids.

There was one thing I thought was really funny, but I do not know if it was meant to be funny. When Sheldon was talking on the phone, he asked if they had a small, dead, furry dog. He did not want one that was jumping around.
I do not think I would have apologized to Mrs. Sparks because she is always so rude, she causes discussions to escalate into fights. Did you notice the large amount of hair that was in the plastic bag? Wow!
I was surprised and pleased that Sheldon approached and patted the dog.
