Last night's episode, Seven Deadly Sins and a Small Carl Sagan, was good. Mary let the drama coach take over her project even though she did not agree with what he was doing. I was sure she would rip him apart, but she went home and made a salty tuna casserole instead. That did surprise me. The haunted heck house looked impressive and I wonder if anyone actually creates Halloween displays about sin. I laughed at the lustful man's reaction when he heard the word "syphilis ". Poor Georgie almost got what he wanted and I think it was so funny the way things turned out. Not the part about him becoming a devout athiest, of course. Sheldon's "Carl Sagan" recognition moment was a nice ending to the episode. I was so happy Sheldon finally got recognition. Jason Alexander is quite good. He was nominated for Emmys for "Seinfeld" but I didn't watch that much. For one thing, his character George on that show reminded me of me. I don't know about sin but plenty of churches try to scare people at Halloween hoping for the result this church achieved.

I've been posting here when I observed genius kids like Sheldon on TV.
All five of the "Single Parents" kids (not counting the baby) should probably qualify. They're not true geniuses but two of them fixed up the car of another parent and were even wearing mechanics' uniforms. Those kids are all six or seven.

I saw last night's show and to me, the job offer should've been taken if it was going to mean better money compared to what was already coming in.
God bless you always!!!

I saw last night's show and my most favorite part was seeing that wink come from George Jr. when him and Mr. Cooper were at the body shop. God bless you and Montana (George Jr.) always!!! Holly P.S. I don't blame him for picking his new job over football practice by the way. If he isn't going to be given a fair share of playing time, what's the point in remaining in such a picture? I can't believe Meemaw got away with taking Sheldon out of school to play a video game. I was surprised George Sr. wasn't happy George Jr. got a job. I can't remember if he's the head coach but he's not playing the boy enough, so what's the point? And George Jr. Likes the job and is good at it. He is a genius. I liked how they didn't think Missy would be a genius like her brothers but they missed how good she was when she was being tested.

"Carbon Dating and a Stuffed Raccoon" was fun to watch. My favorite parts were in the museum. Paige encouraged Sheldon to leave the lecture and wander around the museum with her. It was very funny later when Sheldon imagined his family members looked like the people in the exhibit. George Sr. was trying to enjoy a football game, but Paige's parents kept interrupting him to cry about the troubles in their marriage. I do not enjoy flea markets or yard sales because you are expected to haggle, so that part was not funny to me. I liked seeing Paige and Sheldon get along for a change. Sheldon's parents were so happy Paige's parents were having problems. And they know exactly how to prevent that from happening to them. That was amazing how they made the family members look like they were in a GEICO commercial. I don't go to flea markets but that was still funny. I don't blame Meemaw for wanting to hold on to that jacket.

Meemaw's boyfriend was on "SVU". He was connected to a one murder and then accused of another one, and then another one.

Meemaw and Dr. Sturgis reminded me of Lea and Shaun.
Now we know where "Bazinga" came from. The writers probably invented that later, after Sheldon had been saying it for years. I loved how Jim said he turned out well.
Which episode had Paige sleeping over? I saw that one too, if it was a different one. They were so cute.
I knew George wasn't going to take the job because Sheldon's mom still lives in Texas. Now we also know he's not the head coach.

I liked the music with the practical jokes.
I noticed Sheldon was 10. That means it's finally 1990. A comment was made about people turning to religion during war, but at Halloween in 1990, the conflict in the Middle East had begun. We weren't really in it until January 1991.

This sounds like something Sheldon would do. Evan on "Fresh Off the Boat" was told by his grandmother that he was a buzzkill. She tried to tell stories about her life and Evan would correct details, such as an owl's cage being covered at night, when an owl would be awake. Evan said he enjoys correcting people because he likes to help them learn.

I loved watching George Jr. during tonight's show. I do have one question. What punishment did Missy and Veronica get for taking swings at my two favorite characters?
God bless you always!!!
Holly
P.S. I don't mean to nitpick, but if the show is currently in the early months of the year 1990, Missy shouldn't even know about the TV show Blossom yet, for its first episode wasn't shown until July of that year. (I was curious and so I googled it.)

I loved watching George Jr also. He is so funny, but he did not fool his mother for one moment.
Sheldon and the lady in the library get along well and their conversations make me laugh.
Sheldon did not deserve to be punched for cutting one little strand of the doll's hair. I did not realize Missy had that much trouble with her assignments, but she does not really seem to care.

Not yet, but I was reminded by an episode of "The Goldbergs" that George dies young. The real Murray Goldberg also died young and the character Murray got bad news from the doctor but didn't care. Knowing about George, that had me worried. His son Barry was supposedly concerned because he wants to be a doctor, but Barry is like George Jr., only with no talents. Well, not quite. The father of one of Barry's friends is a doctor and the man let Barry come to work with him, and said Barry was good with patients.

I agree. The shiner that Missy gave Sheldon will go away when her doll's hair of course can not grow back. To me, what she could've done was take them scissors to something that Sheldon loved...like his photograph of Professor Proton for example. She simply could've said, "If you didn't want me in the game, why was I shown how to play?" God bless you always!!! Holly

(I was curious and so I googled it.) It should actually be the end of 1990 or the beginning of 1991. The actor who does the voice of Alf was in the credits. They never showed his name on the show except as a producer. On another site I go to, people thought he had died, but it was only the man who wore the costume if they needed to show his entire body. It was neat they pretended he was an alien in real life. I liked the "Blossom" joke because on the other show, Sheldon is married to Blossom. Meaning the actress who played her plays his wife. It was so funny but also kind of disturbing that Sheldon liked the idea of punishing Missy and, when H e looked at options, only considered how they would affect him and not Missy. George Jr. should be ashamed. Veronica was still gorgeous even with a more conservative look. We don't baptize in that way in my church. It's mostly babies that are baptized and that is done by the pastor dipping his or her hand (right now it's her at my church) in a font and putting water on the person's head. If a person has already been baptized, then they join the church when they come of age. Sometimes they are baptized at the same time.

I was delighted that Sheldon was smart about literature in addition to math and science.
Sheldon is the only person I know who includes decimals when he describes his pain level. I hope everyone noticed the accusatory look Sheldon gave his father when he arrived at the hospital because it was hilarious. His conscience-stricken father was very generous to Sheldon (until he was distracted by the Super Bowl).
Sheldon was a difficult patient, and I laughed when Nurse Nora apologized to Ricky for having Sheldon as a roommate. I think it made an impression on Sheldon when Ricky commented that he complains a lot. That led to Sheldon thanking Nurse Nora for taking care of him.
In this episode, Sheldon’s personality is the same as older Sheldon, but I still love him.
p.s. Mr. Lorre's vanity card #609 showed a picture of the photographers. I am mentioning this because #608 for TBBT said no vanity card this week because he was too happy. It seemed to me the cards are usually the same

I hadn't thought about Sheldon and literature.
I had my own experience in the hospital. I wasn't a difficult patient but I did have to ask someone to change my channel because my remote didn't work. That worked out because when the person showed up late, I discovered a show I didn't realize would be on and wanted to stay on the channel anyway. I had jello but I like green jello. I used to eat it all the time. The food was good. I don't remember what happened just before surgery because I jumped ahead and it was over.
Sheldon actually became nicer, but by the end of the episode he had forgotten.
Nurse Nora has been on a lot of shows and she has played so many nurses.
I didn't see the vanity card. That's on during "Mom", which I don't watch.
Timmy on "The Kids Are Alright" (he is a producer on "Last Man Standing" and narrates the show based on his life) also had a tummyache that kept getting worse, until he passed out on the kitchen floor. His parents didn't take him seriously. It was appendicitis. The episode aired Tuesday but I didn't see it until last night. While high on drugs, he tattled on his brother but his parents had to figure out a scheme to pretend to discover what he said on their own.

I loved George Jr. during tonight's show! If I had been Veronica, I would've been mad about my mail being swiped away from me before I even had a chance to read it. Her boyfriend had no right whatsoever to rip anything away from her in my opinion and because he went and did such a thing, it will never be known how she would've handled the situation on her own.
God bless you always!!!
Holly
P.S. Missy only gave me a newer appreciation for myself.

Sheldon: *seeing the men at the entrance to the garage* “Am I in trouble?"
That was so funny 😂.
I agree with Holly about George Jr’s letter. Also, I think Mary should be ashamed of herself because she promised she would let it go if George told her tthe person’s name.
Meemaw handled the situation at the social event very well.

I really really want to see last night's even though I set the oldest TiVo to record all of them. The newest gets the priority.
While I'm waiting until I have time, I want to comment on something that happened to Evan on "Fresh Off the Boat". His mom didn't want him to date, and even sneaked into the classroom and found a paper he wrote and put a minus beside the A. That upset Evan so much he committed to studying and broke up with the girl. I don't think Mary is that controlling, but it would be a great thing to do on this show.

Sheldon: *seeing the men at the entrance to the garage* “Am I in trouble?" That was so funny 😂. It sure was. I knew they would eventually figure out how to track Sheldon down. That was not a fake phone number. I wonder how they got away with it? Meemaw handled the situation at the social event very well. She did. When she really tries, she's better looking than she was when she was younger.

No new episode but I forgot to mention Sheldon was going to try to teach Missy calculus. That's crazy, because she hadn't learned algebra yet. The most basic rules of calculus require you to know algebra.
A good joke from "Fresh Off the Boat". I can easily imagine Sheldon saying he doesn't want to go camping because, as Evan said, he didn't want to go to the bathroom with animals watching.
