I will be glad when women's fashion returns to covering the breast because I was uncomfortable looking at Trish in one of her outfits.

My newest TiVo has the capability to skip commercials, and a message appears when you can do that. This didn't happen for Scorsese's commercial. And his Surface had capabilities that weren't shown in the commercial, but were shown later in the episode.
I liked the scenes with Riggs and Molly. It's confusing there is a Ben, because on "The Mick" there is a Ben the same age who is kind of reckless but deceptively cute. He set his house on fire and was entertained by watching it burn, and when he visited his father in prison he managed to impress the other inmates.
Murtaugh's feud with his neighbor was funny. At one point the neighbor looked like Tim Allen's Wilson, only you could see his entire face.

Fools Rush In
Murtaugh and Riggs are too funny. Riggs has gone to the restaurant where Molly works every day and was harassing a customer about the way he ordered his food. Now Riggs is under a lot of stress because his friend kissed him on the lips and asked him on a date. He is not getting any sympathy from anyone.
Trish and Murtaugh were funny when they got so excited about putting the baby in a prestigious preschool. I would bet anything that either Murtaugh overdoes everything at the interview or Riggs will show up and shock the representatives.
Conspiracy theories led to some amusing debates between Riggs, Murtaugh and Bailey. Jonah’s theory that Elvis was framing him and controlling traffic all over L.A. was unexpected, but it made me think of the people who were in costume and entertaining tourists.
I have to keep stopping to perform chores, but I hope I can finish watching it now.

Yep, Murtaugh messed up the interview with Dr. Weir by being pretentious. But he made up for it later.
Molly and Riggs are outrageous together. Having a “date” in Roger’s kitchen was too funny.
Jonah wound up solving the case and his daughter thinks of him as a superhero. Very nice.
A bonus was hearing Elvis' songs.

This was a very funny episode.
Riggs and Molly are quite good together. They should date.
I don't recall whether Ben was on, but Ben on "The Mick" asked a couple of embarrassing sex-related questions after hearing the adults talk.
I always like haring Elvis too. My Wisconsin radio station has played one today, but not a Christmas song, although I have heard him do Christmas songs already this year.
I thought the blonde woman and the little girl were Jonah's daughter and her mother. I didn't recognize the woman from the school. Murtaugh gave her what she deserved. She's too demanding.
Jonah was right. It was an exciting mystery.

2.10 Wreck the Halls

I saw an article in the TV section of several newspapers and I did find it online but I don't know what I did with the link. I'll find it eventually.
It's a shame Murtaugh had so many things go wrong to keep him from going to Hawaii with his family. It has to be Trish's lawyer salary paying for such a nice place. If Murtaugh could afford it, there would be something seriously wrong.
Riggs and his new family are so good together. Molly has just enough of an edge. Of course bringing Ben to a strip club was certainly not a good idea.
When Murtaugh talked about how big the explosion was, that sounded terrible. I didn't want anything to happen to his house. But what did happen turned out to be funny, especially Trish's reaction.

I enjoyed the episode. Yes, it was a shame Murtaugh could not join his family and a shame they cut their vacation short. It is a good thing they were not home when the criminals arrived. Trish was a good sport about the destruction to the house.
I do not think being outside of the strip club was any worse than taking the boy to any potentially active crime scene. He did not go inside. I thought taking him to a crime scene should have been the real issue.
I did not think Riggs was going to tell Ben the details of what his father had done to help him, but he did. I understand why Molly was upset about that.
Riggs was in a certain death predicament until the bikers received instructions to cease fire. I had assumed Nathan Riggs was dead, but he has now done one good thing for Riggs. Riggs still hates him though.

I don't think Riggs told Ben everything. He could have always said, "When you're older."
I'm also confused about Nathan Riggs. We had been led to believe he was dead, but if he wasn't, what exactly was Jake sent to prison for?

I will be glad when women's fashion returns to covering the breast because I was uncomfortable looking at Trish in one of her outfits. I missed this. Not only the post but what the post is about. Trish is a professional and shouldn't be doing what you described. Now in "Are We There Yet?" she was a spoiled shallow office worker who would most certainly be showing off what she had.

I was surprised Riggs didn't simply tell the boy that he was helping an old friend and her son find their dog. And if they are actually boyfriend and girlfriend, he could say that. But that's not really his family at this point. Technically he was telling the truth. That was terrible what happened to the dog, but it sounds like it has something to do with Riggs and his father.
Not all college students succeed. I didn't have problems academically, but my first semester didn't go well. I had to change schools. RJ is doing the right thing, but he was too slow to make it clear he couldn't handle college. Seriously, I've heard stories of how poorly so many kids did and wonder how anyone makes it. RJ was responsible, in the end. But the way they reacted, I don't think he wanted to tell his parents it was too hard.
I was very surprised not to see the house full of construction workers and a complete mess. After all, look how the last episode ended.

I thought one day Riggs' friend would show up and that would end his relationship. But what happened to the puppy was awful and Riggs knows it is safer for him to avoid attachments. I do not know if it is fair to not give a specific reason for leaving because she will always wonder what happened.
I got the impression Nathan Riggs told his people to make sure Marty came to see him, but that he did not tell them how to accomplish it. Riggs knows his father is having him watched and the only way to stop it is to carry out his threat. I want to see what happens with that relationship.
What happened with RJ does happen a lot. It happened to one of my grandsons. I think RJ will be okay.

"Digging Up Dirt" was dramatic, but it is difficult to not laugh when Leo is around. Riggs learned some important information about his wife. He was shocked but it proved she loved him very much. He shared all of that with Dr. Cahill and I am glad he has opened up to her. He stopped a violent attack at the prison and I think he finally forgave his father-in-law.
Murtaugh will never get Riggs to treat him differently; that is a lost cause. I am glad Capt. Avery is remaining on the job.
Riggs should get additional hazard pay after being hung by the villains. But Murtaugh came to the rescue.

I have only one complaint about Leo. When I see him, I am reminded that he will never be as funny as Felix on "The Odd Couple", but I guess that show's not coming back. He is pretty funny here, though.
I had this uneasy feeling when the man who got killed pulled out his car keys. It seems every time someone on this shows does it, starting the car will make it blow up.
I was disappointed Riggs' father-in-law didn't make it. Even if he did something terrible, at least Riggs is sort of his family. And he got that bad news about his wife.
Cahill's hair looked great.
There's no way Murtaugh will be a captain. It was fun to see him try, and Riggs didn't quite know what was happening. However, Avery could still run for office since the man he'd be replacing was put in jail.
Even with what was happening, I was glad to see Riggs getting married.
When and why did Riggs get to move his trailer back to the beach?

I got the impression Avery changed his mind about running was because the man he put in jail was extremely popular. Therefore, there would be a backlash against Avery. I was puzzled when Riggs said he has a trailer like that at the beach. He did not sound as if he was speaking of the past. Perhaps Trish evicted him after he drove through their wall and they forgot to tell us.

Cahill was really shook up when that man took her hostage. At first, she was able to cope because of her training. She also looked so different for some reason when they found her.
I loved how they were able to find a loophole that lets Riggs continue to behave as he does without getting fired. After all, seeing him act like that is one of the best things about the show. Cahill stood up for him and risked her own job. They couldn't tell her that she was really going to be tested, but it had to be done to make it work. And I actually thought Riggs was who Cahill was there to see.
R.J. seems okay. They were worried for nothing.

Better Living Through Chemistry
I had to feel sorry for Cahill. She has tried very hard and patiently to help her patients, and she was despondent because she thought she had failed Riggs and the other patients. I am glad that was not the case and Riggs made her feel better by assuring her she had helped him.
The conversations between Santos and Cahill were interesting. Santos would be happy to get rid of Riggs, but Cahill took responsibility. I had to laugh at their expression when they saw Riggs throw a punch and later when Murtaugh threw a punch.
I am also glad they found a loophole for Riggs. But I am wondering if they are trying to show Nathan Riggs in a softer light. Apparently, he was a loving and considerate father prior to his wife’s suicide. After he started drinking heavily, he became abusive.
Murtaugh was acting the fool in the therapist’s office. It was funny when he was hit by the door and when he claimed Trish dropped R.J. on his head. I agree R.J. seems okay. It was good that Murtaugh expressed how often he worries about things.
I was happy to see Scorsese, Bowman and Bailey. Scorsese and Bowman do not seem to get much screen time. I see Scorsese in commercials more than in the episodes.

I forgot about Nathan Riggs. I believed he was not so bad when his wife was alive. That was a terrible thing for the boy to go through.
I like the Scorsese commercials. I think my TiVo once again regards them as commercials.

I like the way the Lethal Weapon's writers described the episode on Twitter:

I laughed a lot during this episode. I thought Riggs was homeless again when he was sleeping in the playground park. He had been on a bender and reliving/repeating a pivotal moment in his life with his father. I think he regrets the decision he made when he was 13 years old.
I kept laughing when Capt. Avery took Riggs side in the dispute about Murtaugh refusing to give Riggs a ride to the station. It did make Murtaugh look bad.
I enjoyed Murtaugh’s extreme attempts to please his daughter. As he said, he broke a lot of laws to get the information on her boyfriend. I like the way Riana handled the cheating boyfriend and she rewarded Murtaugh with a kiss. After all the stuff he was willing to do for Riana, I had to laugh when she started to cry and he said, “Let’s call your mother.”
When Murtaugh thought Riggs had been killed, he was overcome with remorse and was going to weep, but when Riggs thought Murtaugh was blown up in the car, he just stood there. Murtaugh’s indignation and Riggs’ justification for his reaction, or lack of one, was very funny.
Bowman does not know how to keep a secret or to be discreet. That was funny when Avery wanted to know why Murtaugh requested a drone.
It was amusing that Avery and Murtaugh blamed Bailey’s indiscretions on her association with Riggs. I am glad the relationship between Bailey and her sister will get better.

Murtaugh should have given Riggs a ride. He also should have told Riggs about the truck sooner. Since I know the year of the truck in "Kevin", I should mention Riggs' truck was made in the years 1975 through 1977. They didn't necessarily change every year. I think my grandfather had one like that.
I don't understand how Murtaugh got out of the car before it blew up. But Riggs' reaction was funny.
I liked the song that was playing on the jukebox that the one man hated.
I liked seeing Murtaugh help Riana, but ultimately, only her mother could help.
I liked that Bailey and her sister are getting closer, and we learned about her.

It was funny to see Roger get stuck and have to rescued, and then of course he had to show off when that fireman was there again in the bounce house. Poor Trish.
I didn't realize Roger was so old. Also, how did he not get hurt falling off the car? Or how did he manage to stay on top of the car?
It was good that Roger couldn't just let the cat die. Seeing what happened makes me nervous about having propane heat. Until last week, I was able to use oil and that might still have been true if I had more time to research options.
I liked seeing Riggs struggle with the choice between being able to do his job and not drinking.
The witness who was such a problem throughout the episode is Adam's mom on "Man with a Plan". She's much more normal there. However, she wasn't too different in "Mike and Molly", where she was Molly's mom.
