I am glad they showed Kara still cared about Mon-El. I am also glad she worked through her anger in one episode.
I like Ms. Luthor being affiliated with CatCo. She and Kara can spend more time together. She really likes Kara and has no clue why Kara has been blowing her off. I wonder if Lena will learn Kara’s secret identity this season.
How does Supergirl hang in the air without moving? I was surprised when Alex was worried that Supergirl cannot breathe under water because I had never thought about that. Supergirl was magnificent when she attacked the submarine and stopped the crew from killing a lot of people.
Kara never listens to James, even when he is the boss.
I laughed when Alex told Hank she was wearing Kevlar and boots to the wedding.
It was nice of Supergirl to leave their nemesis on top of those containers.
The lady with the little girl must be the alien.

I have to talk about Cat's press conference. She said everyone knows global warming is a major issue. And of course the president knows that because she is not a moron. Made me think of our president.  |

I wasn't enjoying it as long as Kara was bitter. I hope she really is over Mon-El to the point she will at least be able to act normal.
I wish Cat were more of a regular.
They never did explain how Supergirl was able to function under water, because Alex said she couldn't breathe.
I'm not sure how I feel about Lena being Kara's boss. I thought she knew about Kara's secret identity, because otherwise some of her comments didn't make sense.
I don't even want to hear about the wedding.
I was disappointed we didn't see more of Erica. Also, she's playing a character who has already been played by a different actress.

It was a good episode, and I enjoyed the suspense. A meta-human has shown up in Supergirl’s town. I think Psi was getting a thrill from creating chaos because she did not need all of that money.
I think that is the first time one of Winn’s inventions was an utter failure and Supergirl was whammied by fear. She never gives up though and Alex was able to talk her through the fear. Although her fear stymied her, I think the way she feels is a nice tribute to Mon-El.
Ruby really thought her mother would save her, but Samantha covered her body instead of trying to stop the wrecking ball. She might have been successful if she tried while adrenalin was rushing through her body. The way an earlier description said “tragedy struck”, I keep waiting for something to kill Ruby and then Samantha will turn into the world killer. Samantha is going to run L-Corp while Lena is at CatCo.
I am excited to see what happens on Mars.

Kara has passed every test that was thrown at her.
Now let me talk about work relations.
Snapper is M.I.A. and James Olsen has been running CatCo.
Lena ignored James, but texted Kara she was coming to CatCo.
Lena called a staff meeting and invited everyone except James.
Lena scheduled a financial meeting, but not tell James. Wth!!!
I think Lena handled Kara's lateness/absence issue very well. Kara was neglecting her job without giving any explanation for it.
James did the right thing to let Lena know he should be included in the meetings. I can tell that they will probably get along, but in real life, there would be major resentment.
I enjoyed the episode, but I think it is important to mention that.

Psi isn't as much fun as Petra. I don't enjoy superhero shows anyway. That girl sure was cute but she doesn't seem very capable. What exactly is so great about her? She LOOKS good but that city needed someone who could get the job done.
And for those of us who have no idea what's going on, a beloved narrator explain everything in great detail would have been so nice.
As you know, pretty blonde from the planet that blew up was accidentally artificially inseminated ... I mean trapped in a prison for years ...

I didn't see much to enjoy about the episode. Supergirl is paralyzed by fear. Lena is taking over and not giving James the proper respect. I do think Lena is right to treat Kara the way she is because Kara obviously hasn't explained who she is.
Lena with her hair like that reminds me of my aunt, and her mother who died before I was born.
Once again, Erica does very little. Now why couldn't they have made HER Ruby's mother? After all, Kara's mother was played by another actress. It bothered me to see Ruby's mother having so much trouble with Ruby and risking not doing well at her job. But now we see why the job is so important.
I'm curious why James called her Luthor the first time and then like everyone else changed to Luther like Martin.
