James needs to be James. Winn is the Jimmy Olsen character. And he did an amazing job of figuring out where what they thought was lead poisoning was coming from.
I find it strange that Kara and Lena can be such good friends. Lena is head of the company she works for. And Kara still manages to keep her secret.
I hope we have seen the last of Alex crying over not being able to have children. I thought that song that played for her and Maggie was a very annoying ringtone. It was, instead, a very annoying song.

It is a toss up which I hated more - the break up or the make-up sex. Please move on, but they do not need to kill Maggie off because there would be more crying.

I do want Maggie to stay on the show but don't like how awkward that might be.
Taylor Swift won a CMA award! Naturally she wasn't there to receive it because she has abandoned country music, as far as performing is concerned. But Little Big Town accepted for her. She was on SNL and she has the Supergirl hair style again. Sort of. Hers is more curly.

It was a very good episode. Young Kara's mannerisms reminded me of Kara and she did an excellent job.
I enjoyed seeing their childhood and it was easy to see why Alex resented Kara. The death of Kara's friend was a tragedy, but the investigation made the girls rely on each other.
I liked the mother too. When I saw Kara's mom, I was shocked. I never guess when J'onn is impersonating someone. It was nice of him to let the ladies drive his car.

He did an excellent job of putting the clips together and explaining the connection between Smallville and Supergirl. I enjoyed watching it.
