I am excited to see if the team can outsmart DeVoe. I know he is the smartest person in the world, but Barry has a team of geniuses helping him.

Jeff, for years during our chats, you have ridiculed people who enjoy comics/graphic novels. I think you do that to disguise the fact you cannot understand them. |

Yes, he does make good points. The idea of Barry tapping the speed force to get smarter is interesting. I have always known Barry is smart, but his original team is made up of geniuses. Therefore, I thought he would rely on their smarts to beat DeVoe.
One of the first things they need to do is remove all of the hidden cameras DeVoe has placed everywhere, not just in the lab.

It was a good episode. Even though I had accepted Barry would go to prison, I did not like how harsh the judge was.
I was hoping Iris would punch Marlize, but she was not dressed for a fight.
That was a neat trick when Barry was talking to Iris in the courtroom. They were moving so fast, everyone else was standing still.
The guards were not mean to Barry and they put him in a cell that had the message "Henry Allen was here."

The Trial of The Flash
I meant to mention that it was a nice touch that when the judge was describing Barry as a criminal, they switched back and forth to the Captain praising the Flash as a hero. That was very well done.
The one thing I did not like is that the Captain sounded as if Flash did it by himself and did not give Cisco/Vibe any credit for getting rid of the nuclear blast. They act as if Cisco is invisible.

I guess Goldberg, the wrestler, will be a villain. It is good you get to see him. I remember you saw Amell/Arrow wrestle someone you knew.

I was really hoping something they did would keep Barry out of prison. But he can't reveal who he is. The best defense is that DeVoe isn't really dead. Just his body is. I was really hoping his wife kissing that man would help. Barry put a lot of people in there, so I figured they wouldn't be able to put him in general population. It was neat that he got Henry's cell. I didn't like that Iris was wearing a sexy dress. Maybe now that she's married? I wonder how Barry was able to talk to Iris? The science doesn't have to make sense, I guess. |
