Carol continues to be important to their survival. She is very smart and seems fearless. Taking the keys to open the lock was better than banging on the chains.  Daryl and Rick did a good job of stopping the truck that had the big gun, but it would have been better to keep it on the road. I guess we will not see how they get the truck out of the ravine. At the rate this show is going, there will not be many live humans left. |

I did not want to watch Shiva die. I watched her leap at the walkers and take some down, but when they crowded her, I turned away. I could not watch that. I was more upset about Shiva than I was about the people.

While in the trailer, Negan described Gabriel’s actions the same way I felt about him in the beginning. I was not particularly touched by Gabriel giving Negan absolution. Negan is the third person I have seen who could not “kill” his dead loved one. Morgan was the first one. When Carl thought Rick had died while they were in a safe house, he started crying and could not pull the trigger. And we know Carl is a bad-ass kid.
Eugene looked close to tears most of the episode. When accusations were being tossed around, Eugene kept staring right at Dwight. How did the rest of them miss that? I do not remember Dwight stealing the bag of guns, but apparently Eugene realizes it.
I did not like Daryl and Rick fighting each other.
