TWD was very good. It was a positive beginning to see the three groups getting to know each other and working together. I enjoyed the powerful motivational speeches.
Carol and Daryl’s team took on the task of leading the walkers to the Sanctuary. Carl and a very sore Michonne stayed at Alexandria to defend it.
I enjoyed the verbal exchange between Rick and Negan and I think it was hilarious when Rick started the countdown and sprayed a hail of bullets on “7”. Their plan went well, but Father Gabriel is between the proverbial rock and a hard place.
Rick’s foreshadowing of the ideal life confused me for a moment, but it was not a coma-induced dream. That is the way they should live in the future.

I liked the premiere episode very much except for 2 small things: 1. Why would Rick waste time talking to Negan instead of just spraying him with bullets. It seems to me Rick's jaw-boning just gave the head Savior a chance to escape, which he did, dammit. 2. Why did Rick's group spray the Saviors headquarters windows with all that gunfire? What did that accomplish other than wasting wasting valuable ammunition. Also, Negan's use of the word shit has officially maxed out. Other than that, I love Carol, Daryl, Carl Michonne and Maggie. Loved jesus shouting out to scum Gregory, "The Hilltop stands with Maggie!"

Loved jesus shouting out to scum Gregory, "The Hilltop stands with Maggie!" I wondered about the jaw-boning too because Dwight specifically told Rick that Negan's lieutenants had to die too. So, what was the point? The best part of that was when Rick started firing when his countdown got to 7. How did they miss Negan? I bet Daryl or Carol would have gotten him. If "shit" has maxed out, how about "dick"? He loves to talk about his and Rick's junk.

Tonight, we will see if the hail of bullets killed any of Negan's crew - anyone at all - or did they just murder every window in the building.

8.02 The Damned

The plan involving Alexandrians, Kingdommers and Hilltoppers unfolds; as Rick continues to fight, he encounters a familiar face.

There was too much fighting for me.
Tara and Jesus should have come to an agreement before they were in the middle of a battle. That was frustrating. Even Morgan thought leaving the people alive was the wrong decision. However, his mind was still in battle mode.
I was used to seeing Morgan fight with the walking stick, but he used the guns effectively. He would have killed every Savior in sight if the glare from the sun had not slowed him down.
Rick was distracted and now Morales has a gun pointed at him. No way should Rick let Negan re-capture him.
King Ezekiel finally won Carol over, but I think the Kingdom people might be in trouble.
Lines to remember:
I don’t die.
Protect the King!
And yet I smile.
You know how hard it is to piss yourself on purpose? It’s like your d*** knows you’re wearing pants.

When I was looking at the promo clip for the last episode, in the comment section, several people said Shiva was going to die in that episode. I did not like them saying that because it would have been a major spoiler, but it did not happen anyway.
I hope they never kill off King Ezekiel. He is a great character and I love to hear him talk. I noticed he used his normal voice when he was talking to Carol and nobody else could hear them.

Conflict with the Saviors leads to unintended consequences for the Hilltop, the Kingdom, and Alexandria; morality proves tricky in wartime.

I was very interested in why Morgan and Jesus would be fighting each other, and now it makes sense. Jesus kept insisting on keeping prisoners instead of killing them. Morgan was suffering from bloodlust and snapped mentally. That was a very good scene, but now Morgan has walked away from the group.
Daryl is not trying to take prisoners either. He shot Morales without blinking.
I enjoyed the King’s motivational speech and the visualization of Carol’s plan, but the end scenes were tragic.
Maggie should not keep Gregory plus the Saviors at Hilltop.
