I love you dude, but don't you dare say Carol is a coward. Ezekiel retracted that statement and he and Carol are still close. I saw some things I did not expect to see on TWD: 1. Negan pleading for anything, but he begged Jadis to not burn Lucille. She did not tell him what happened to her people, but I think Negan can figure it out. 2. Morgan crying was a surprise, but he has been under so much stress. Also, those hallucinations were bothering his conscience. 3. Morgan holding the man against the fence while watching the walkers kill him. Morgan does not regret his actions. 4. Jadis sobbing. Jadis has a neat sleeping area somewhere in the heap. *** When Rosita said "We don't take out the machine, we take out the man.", I thought she was going to shoot Eugene. |

Aaron was starving and dehydrated, but he stayed at Oceanside to convince the people to fight Negan. It was amazing he was able to fight off the walkers in his condition.

I snickered when Simon was talking to the crowd and mimicked the way Negan leans.That was a helluva fight between Simon and Negan. Negan was confident he would win, but I thought he should have just gone on and killed Simon without a fight.

Now that Negan has declared he will kill every one of them, it sounds like a lot more people will die.
I wonder if Eugene will survive. The stuff Rosita said to him made him furious and determined to help Negan.

That was an excellent finale. Kirkman can rest easy that the fans will not be hating on him.
I was surprised that Maggie, Jesus and Daryl are teaming up against Rick. Or maybe they just want to get close enough to kill Negan.
Jadis' name is Anne!
The long break away from killing seems to have cleared Morgan's mind, thank goodness.

I should have mentioned that Eugene was the hero of the battle. What he did to the bullets gave Rick's team an opportunity to win the battle.
Also, Aaron's sacrifice in staying at Oceanside paid off. Oceanside people devised a way to fight the Saviors without guns. Their plan worked.
We saw two throat slice scenes, the first when Morgan cut a man and the second when Rick sliced Negan's throat.

What a crappy season ending. Negan, Eugene and Gabriel are still alive. Amazing how Rick was able to slash Negan's so perfectly that a doctor with little experience could fix him up so he can still talk, too.  We have to wait until the last episode to see that Eugene was really working against the Saviors? How was that moron able to hide that from both sides? What has Gabriel done all season long. If I see his sad, long face again, I may kill myself. What did the ocean ladies do all season? What did the trash people do all season? Get some new writers, please  |
