J'onn to the rescue. I am glad Supergirl did not hit the ground because that would have been awful whether or not it would have killed her. They have mentioned several times that Superman is in some far off place so hopefully he is not affected by the Kryptonite.
That was an interesting gadget Lena brought with her to shield Supergirl.
I know Sam Witwer from "Being Human". When Lockwood saw the Graves wanted to kill Jenson, he stopped them and offered an alternative. It is illogical that anyone would trust them after seeing that.

I'm still not clear on how they can't leave Supergirl on Earth (without that suit). All they had to do was say there's no place they can get her to quickly that will be safe. I wondered about Superman.
It appears National City is somewhere in the West.

Manchester is a soccer hooligan? Perfect name.
We have a school board race where I live. When I vote, I am not voting for the candidate named Graves.
Alex is too inexperienced to be in charge of the entire agency. She's trying, and the president was too hard on her, but someone else needs to run the place.
How exactly was Kara's absence explained?
I don't remember James being The Guardian. I'm glad the new girl can talk to him about that.
I liked the one joke, which was Supergirl not wanting anything to happen to pies.
Is this show in my top ten? See the top ten thread.

I agree with everything Alex's new boss did except putting thousands of people in jeopardy. Fortunately, Jensen surrendered without any drastic action having to be taken. Alex is capable of running that location, but she's not ready to run the whole organization.
Jensen seemed to have turned into The Thinker but his abilities worked on metahumans, not aliens. This show doesn't have metahumans.
It's good to see Kara back at work.

that was one heck of episode can't wait for next week episode. I agree. There was a lot of excitement and drama. The Thanksgiving dinner was not very cheerful. I hope James and Lena remain friends. The new guy is not afraid to do whatever it takes to destroy the Children of Liberty. Brainiac was adorable, and he is learning to not blurt out the truth to the new boss. I really enjoyed him using physics to let the bullies beat themselves. Here's the description, a little late: Call to Action
SEASON 4, EPISODE 6 • NEW 11/18/18, 8:00 PM ON WNUVDT 54 • TV-PG • STEREO • CC
As everyone gathers for Thanksgiving, Kara is feeling down after her televised debate with Ben Lockwood; James and Lena argue about the best way to handle the Children of Liberty.

Brainiac is turning out to be a much better character than I had hoped for. Not only is he funny but it turns out he may be better than Winn at making things happen in an entertaining way.
I did not like seeing people get beat up for being aliens, but in some ways this was a more positive episode.
I didn't like seeing Alex's new boss being so hard on her this week. And telling Supergirl what to do? Has that ever been done?
The Thanksgiving dinner wasn't as enjoyable as I hoped it would be. And what is the deal with the music? Can't it be more relaxed?
The new reporter has some kind of problem with sleep. I wonder what that's about? For now it's funny.
It was almost sunset? Didn't look much like it. The sun sure takes a long time to go down. Also, how far north is this city?
I liked how J'onn was called "My Favorite Martian". I liked that show.

I cannot relate the title to what happened in the episode, but maybe it refers to Manchester. I like Manchester and I am disappointed at what he did to J'onn. Manchester betrayed Supergirl, but I was never sure he would have let them harm her after he got what he wanted. But I am not positive about that.
This was another exciting episode in which Supergirl was in harm's way. She had something to protect herself, but Manchester swiped it. I am glad James did not complete the task of destroying the monument. I think he was naive when he said people know he is a good person and he would be able to overcome backlash. Really? People would have not been as kind as he seemed to think.
Lena's story about her mother was sad. I do not a four-year old child should feel guilty about what happened. Lena's experiments will probably create problems.

I saw the movie "Christina's House". Christina's mom's nurse looked exactly like Kara. But the movie was so old Melissa would have been a baby.
I recorded another movie back in September when it aired on the CW affiliate. There was a commercial which showed Brainiac. I remember now why I didn't like him. I forgot he looked like an alien. He was asking the Charmed sisters and Supergirl what their powers were. It was funny because the sisters each had one power and Supergirl just kept listing more.
Last week's had more humor and was somewhat lighter.
This one wasn't so bad but it wasn't funny enough. Supergirl burned a pie and that was about it. I noticed she could touch the pie when it came out of the oven.
I liked Lena's conversations with her test subject and I was really hoping things would go better with the experiment. I liked him.
James getting into a black van is never a good thing.
I don't understand how Supergirl got her powers back just in time.

great episode but that guy who fired Supergirl is a dummy. That was the President of the United States. Wow, this show can occasionally be realistic. This man's attitude toward aliens is so much like Trump's toward foreigners. It's a shame Supergirl can't work for the government anymore but did Superman have anyone to answer to? It's good that Lockwood is locked up but his supporters could cause trouble. This is disturbing. On the other hand Nia's storyline was lighter, at least when Brainiac was involved. He was funny once again. I was glad J'onn was able to stop Manchester. I was confused when Kara couldn't use her powers or admit to having them, but then I realized Nia doesn't know.
