I didn't say I wanted Alex with James' sister. Someone is creating Eve replicas but we didn't see her doing it. Lockwood's wife's funeral. I forgot that. That was so sad how his son was up there and his father just had to leave. I can't think who Dax is. No one said (or thought) you wanted Alex with James' sister. I just do not want them together. At the DEO, the employees frequently call Brainiac "Dox". I spelled it "Dax" but now I think it is "Dox". |

I was thinking of Kara's other alien friend when I saw the name Dax but I was pretty sure he hasn't been on lately. But Dax would be short for his home planet and not his name. The only other Dax I know is the husband of Eleanor on "The Good Place" who is also starring in "Bless This Mess". Even Kara the reporter is now in trouble with the President. And she lost all her work. Fortunately, she can escape. The kryptonite situation was confusing. Supergirl didn't seem to be affected all that much but her twin wasn't affected at all. Oh, wait, yes, she was. And Supergirl somehow overcame and used her powers. Now was that kryptonite Otis was using? And what exactly happened to him? I definitely do not like this new Brainiac (who I thought everyone called "Brainy"). How he was able to overcome whatever took away his powers has yet to be explained. And then he betrayed both Nia and J'onn. Alex needed to stay away from Supergirl but it couldn't be explained. J'onn was afraid she'd go insane if she remembered in the wrong way. I was so happy when Alex's memory came back. I didn't see who played her or Kara in the credits but maybe they were in the opening credits. Or maybe someone did an amazing job with makeup. I had forgotten Alex was so young and pretty when the show started. I'm not clear on whether Supergirl or her twin made the grass give Supergirl back her powers. Alex was so upset but I knew they couldn't allow Supergirl to die. I enjoyed the flashbacks but not the music the girls were listening to. Now, wait a minute. Lena gave James an untested version and was therefore able to assure him it wouldn't harm him, while Lockwood was going to have problems. Lena bought a prison! I didn't know her mother was also that smart. |

I think Brainy will be okay. He approached the situation from the most logical way to solve the issue of where the hostages were being taken. Yeah, I saw he used his friends as a way to accomplish that, but he plans to rescue them. They will probably be irritated with him though.
I liked the visual effects when the sunlight traveled through the grass to Supergirl. That was nicely done.
I got the impression that James would like to keep some powers if they can eliminate the side effects. Lena's mother made some adjustments to the serum that should help him.

Red Daughter shouldn't have trusted Lex. Imagine him telling her she could have Googled him and would have known this. I thought she was dead but she showed up later in the episode. Did she save Kara?
Lex commented on Supergirl's cape and perfect hair. She does have nice hair. Kara, not so much, but it's sort of attractive.
I was hoping we'd see Superman. And we almost lost him.
I'm not quite sure when but I was relieved when Brainiac got his personality back.
J'onn and Nia sure were upset when they realized they couldn't communicate with Brainiac due to the power dampeners, but they managed to solve that problem. How do power dampeners work on everyone on this show and "The Flash"? apparently they don't which is why Brainiac kept his powers.
What a relief when people saw Kara's article. Of course Brainiac could find everything Kara needed to write it.
I enjoyed hearing "My Way", which is Sinatra's signature song. It was also one of Elvis' last hits before he went into hiding (actually, "Way on Down" may have been his last hit). But it is on a list of songs such as "I've Done Everything Hank Did But Die" (not sure of the exact title) by Keith Whitley which showed the singer was near the end of his life.
On the other hand, whatever that noise was during the big fight doesn't qualify as music.
Lena behaved in a mature way when she saw Kara again after learning the truth but you know it has to have bothered her.
We keep thinking Lex is dead but is he really?
Eve keeps finding trouble, and it looks like we have a new villain for next season if there is one. It looks like Lex wasn't even in charge.

Nice to know Lex loves being an American. He wants people to view him as a hero, but I do not believe he actually wants to be a hero. He would have to give up his selfish and murderous ways. Lex devised an elaborate plan and he succeeded in being pardoned by the President. Did he even realize Kara’s article was changing people’s minds about him being a hero? Miss Tesmacher fooled Lex in addition to Lena and Kara. She was being told what to do by others who are minions of the Leviathan. Every time the Leviathan is in the picture, doomsday is on the horizon.
Red Daughter saved Kara from Lex’s final shot and I hope she felt better. I am disappointed she never saw the child again so she would know he was safe.
Supergirl was engaged in a lot of battles. I was disappointed that Lockwood was strong enough to challenge her strength, but I was glad his son spoke publicly to encourage tolerance.
Thank goodness Brainy was reset close to normal. I do not want him to become too emotional though because I enjoy his logical responses.
I wanted Kara to reveal her secret identity to Lena before Lena found out some other way. But after so many lies, I think Lena would have been angry about it no matter what.
I could tell they were leading up to Alex and James’ sister forming a relationship. It was funny when Brainy and Nia walked past them and pretended to not see them kissing.
I was happy to see The Monitor, but I do not understand what he is doing. He brought J'onn's brother to earth, but the brother hates J'onn. Is he supposed to be The Leviathan? He must also have a plan for Lex.
Could someone please tell me the significance of James' injury/eye patch?

TV Guide gave Jon Cryer a cheer.
I saw a movie with J'onn's father over the weekend. He was an alien who appeared to humans to be Jamaican with long hair. He was kind of silly (strange for him) but he was the one who knew how much time Earth had left when this maniac was about to destroy the planet.
I also saw that spelling in the Star trek movie cast.

On "Celebrity Family Feud" the question is what does Steve Harvey's head look like. One person said an egg and that wasn't up there. But James makes me think of a Cadbury egg.
