MacGyver has re-joined Phoenix and everyone is happy he is back. I did not see Oversight this week, but he was mentioned. I hope Oversight and the young genius reconcile, but Oversight could have handled the situation with Mac a lot better than he did.
The team split into two groups and the "baby" agents did an excellent job. Dalton's heroes, with some help from Mac, lived to tell their story. In spite of Jack not asking permission, Phoenix saved their butts anyway.

I haven't seen last week's yet. I didn't think I would enjoy the show as much but they found a way to bring Mac back and I really enjoyed seeing him and Jack have their reunion. And we found out what Jack did wasn't so bad.
What I found amazing was the software being used when Riley looked to see who had been called from a cell phone. I like to freeze the video when they show software. I majored in computer science so I can sometimes tell what was going on. This software was written in COBOL! That's supposed to be all capitals because its an acronym. Using COBOL for software in use today would be like using a black phone with a dial.

I didn't like the scenes with Billy. Or any talk of Riley leaving. I can see why Jack didn't get to participate.
Bozer was fun but I'm not clear on his education. I liked how Mac showed the professor how smart he was.
Overall, it was one of the best episodes in a while.
Matty seems friendlier. I like how she tells people how much trouble they're in.

I enjoyed the episode also. I hope Riley never leaves. Now that Bozer's lady friend is on the team and very sweet to him, I hope she stays also.
I think Bozer told us about his education in a previous episode, but I cannot recall if he graduated. Bozer had very fond memories of campus life. He and Mac got into a lot of trouble when they were in school.

I was glad they had the funny scene at the beginning. Not much comedy in this one, but it was so exciting I didn't even care.
When you can't see Mac's face and he's doing something dangerous, you know what that means.
When Riley was driving that truck she had to do something that caused sparks. I immediately thought of the warning sparks would make that truck go boom.
I never suspected that man. He seemed honest and I just thought Mac and Riley were wrong.
I knew when they talked about the room with the compressed air equipment like it was deep under the ocean, Mac would end up looking like a diver.
At long last, an episode set in Georgia. If you look at the credits that's apparently where they film this. Meanwhile, on The CW at the same time, the action is taking place in the other Georgia.

The episode was exciting and almost too exciting for me. I liked seeing Mac working with and getting along with his father. I knew the police officer could not resist killing the scumbag cartel boss and there is nothing our guys can do to him. I hope that airplane actually flies.
Jack's superstitions and phobia are funny. There was a note on the screen that said it was a good thing Jack was not there when the group was travelling at night.
Bozer also had some excitement during their undercover assignment. The boy did an excellent job of delaying the spy. He did have a large incentive to succeed and Matty will honor the promise. Setting off the car alarm was a good distraction, but I was surprised the spy did not approach Bozer for hitting the car. He must have wanted to keep a very low profile.
I like this show and it is one of the few that I watch when it airs.

I liked seeing Mac and his father too. I didn't like how the cop got his brand of justice. I wanted them to get the information from him.
I almost missed some notes on the screen. I did miss some subtitles because guess where my affiliate decided to run a crawl saying Trump was speaking at a rally in Charlotte and where to go to watch live.
I was confused during Bozer's assignment but once I realized it was a fake marriage, I knew why his girlfriend sure looked like Riley. I think I enjoyed their mission more. I was surprised the man didn't react more strongly when Bozer hit the car.
I don't like Halloween but I really don't like it in Mexico. I do like how colorful Mexico is.

S3.E6 Murdoc + MacGyver + Murdoc is the only Murdoc episode I enjoyed. It was fun to see Murdoc and Mac working together because Murdoc was not trying to kill him. Their sniping at each other was amusing. When Murdoc mentioned the possibility of them helping each other in the future, Mac asked if he looked in a mirror and said Murdoc's name three times, would he appear? That was funny because that is how we cause scary creatures to appear. Murdoc kept annoying Mac by calling him "Boy Wonder".
If Murdoc's son asked him how did he and mommy meet, that would have been an exciting response. Now we know the type of woman who would marry and start a family with Murdoc.
Jack and Bozer had some excitement when they rescued Mac's lady, Nasha. After Jack disarmed the automatic weapon, a message appeared and I laughed before I knew what Murdoc had done. Jack's roughneck solution was exactly what was needed.
We can say our final good-bye to Nasha because Mac needs to end their relationship to avoid putting her in danger.

I was researching something else and found out Jack was the voice of The Flash.
I couldn't enjoy the episode because Murdoc is so evil. Of course Murdoc was funny, especially with his ex, but I wasn't able to enjoy it. If Murdoc was less evil, that might have been possible. I couldn't believe they killed off Jill.
The one positive about Murdoc is his relationship with his son.
I enjoyed watching Jack save Nasha.
I notice Mac doesn't mind Nasha calling him "Angus".

Matty really showed emotion in this episode. She seems so tough and yet she has a vulnerable side. Though for someone so short, she can be quite persuasive. William Shatner's "Boston Legal" character, of course, behaved very much like Donald Trump and made fun of her height and everything else about her.
That girl looked like a boy. I never suspected because of her short hair. There was a Miss Universe contestant from Africa who had hair that short and looked good, but it's just not all that common. The girl really made us care about her and her friends, and even though it complicated things greatly, that was important. I was sort of hoping she'd come to the United States and show up occasionally.
Those kids would have to be geniuses.
I thought of Sheldon and Leonard when I saw that pile but then I realized it's not a nerd's paradise because Sheldon would be horrified at the thought of all the germs.
On "The Kids Are Alright" the father works in a factory that deals with the military, and his family was chosen to be guinea pigs for a new device called a microwave oven. That was good for some laughs.

There has been another episode.
To see how I felt about it look at my top ten shows list.
I forgot to mention that I like Willie Nelson, even if Bozer does not.
I know Jack would have liked to be on this last mission. I wonder why he was missing? I mean the actor, of course.

Not that it means anything, but when I went to the grocery there was a very macho pickup truck (based on its bumper stickers and contents) that belonged to an Afghanistan veteran.

I forgot to comment on Monday because I was so late finishing up. I had so much confidence that wouldn't happen today, but it sure has.
At the same time the team was in Atlanta, so was all the action on "Dynasty" on The CW.
Riley has a nice body. I guess she doesn't usually dress so that we can really see. I didn't enjoy her road trip that much because I'd rather see her with the team than with her boyfriend. It was nice she met her grandmother.
This episode reminded me a lot of "The Good Doctor" except it appeared there would be no consequences for the general public here, and an apparent cure. It was a little scary at times but exciting.

Jack's various fears are amusing. He complains, but he would never leave Mac without back-up.
There was some excitement for Riley on the road trip when the car was stolen. They worked well as a team to retrieve it without killing anyone.
***
I read that George Eades (Jack) is having personal issues with something on the show and wants out of his contract. He walked off of the set in the middle of a day of shooting. Now we know why he has missed some episodes. He might not be around in 2019. I like him and will miss him. If he leaves, I hope they let Mac's father go on more missions.

I'm sorry to hear Jack might leave. When the show started I couldn't stand him, but he is such an important part of why I like it now.
It's hard to believe they are now treating Matty like a member of the family now. She was so demanding and tough when she joined the cast, but now they have all these sweet moments with her.
I didn't make the connection that Matty's husband was essentially cheating on her. He said "family" so I just assumed parents and maybe siblings. There was a little girl so for a minute there I forgot he was married to Matty. But her reaction made me realize he shouldn't be doing what he's doing. And yet he couldn't be with her.
Most of the comedy this past week was in the flashbacks. I don't enjoy the show as much when it isn't funny.
But "Who doesn't love K.C. and the Sunshine Band?" Absolutely!
I can't resist mentioning another show. Charlie on "The Cool Kids" was explaining "black ops" when he and his friends were on "a mission". They suspected Hank's girlfriend of keeping a secret. Charlie was part of the team that broke into the Watergate. He was told but they got caught. Charlie said "they" did. Meaning he didn't.

Apparently you can disconnect a doorbell without cutting wires. I saw the "Modern Family" Halloween episode, although I don't know how it was done. After they found out Claire's mom died, it seemed inappropriate to greet trick-or-treaters with "Welcome to Hell" every time the doorbell was rung.
But when Louis cut the wires on "Fresh Off the Boat" he said it's not as scary as they make it look in movies or on TV. No, not if there's not a bomb attached!

There is an app on my phone that has "logic grid" puzzles. One of the puzzles is based on MacGyver and we need to determine when and where he uses a combination of paper clip, magnet, tack, thimble, marble, string, belt, lightbulb, horseshoe and boot.. I think it will be fun to solve.
Also, it states facetiously, "For a bonus point, what is MacGyver's first name?" Thanks to this show, we know the answer to that.

That was chilling. Because Jack will eventually be leaving, I wondered for just a moment if it would happen in this episode. Then, I realized they would not end it by having Mac do the deed. That would have ruined the show.
The other team members are surprisingly successful considering they are all rookies when it comes to field work.

I thought when Jack got hit in the chest that Mac had figured something out to make it look like he was really getting hurt when in fact there was some sort of protection. But with the music that was playing when Mac was holding the gun, knowing George Eads wants to leave, I got this sick feeling I don't want to have. Even after Mac "shot" Jack, I still hoped it was all fake.
The job in Italy was more fun, obviously. I do like seeing Bozer get himself in situations but he seems to handle himself pretty well.
