I like how Cordell solved Twyla's problem. But now Twyla is a problem.
So the new partner has a brother she doesn't get along with. No, wait, they made up.
What does Stella call her grandmother?
Nice anniversary celebration.

Torn SEASON 2 , EPISODE 17 AIRING JUN 2, 2022
Twyla is tapped to assist the Rangers on a case as she and Cordell are beginning to grow closer; Stella reevaluates her feelings for Todd and Colton; Geri extends an olive branch to Denise.

Stella's hair changed twice during the episode and I don't know why that makes her look so drastically different. But I'm really not caring about her boyfriend problems.
On the other hand, "Coach" handled the fight really well. He sounded like he was committed to the students, but only for a few more weeks and then he can be a Ranger.
Cordell was in a relationship with Twyla and I thought that would cause problems with Geri. It will. But now Twyla has left. I feel bad for the people who took a chance and gave her a job. But if that bank has a branch where she's going, that works.
A Ranger can't figure out after all this time that the Davidsons cheated?

I am laughing because I felt the same way about Walker not realizing someone tampered with the strap.
Twyla left because Walker reacted awkwardly when they were with his son. They would have had to keep their friendship a secret.
At first, I thought they were offering Coach a position as an in-house counselor for the Rangers. They need one.

Very exciting.
STE-LLAAAAAA! You know it had to be said sooner or later in this series.
What did people do before cell phones?
My first thought was that helicopter rescues are very expensive. But it seems they were helping a fellow Ranger, so no cost.
Coach handled himself quite well. I could tell Cordell's new partner looked nervous about flying.
So now the truth is known. The Davidsons cheated and the last person I would have suspected did it. I'm glad they can get their house back.
The incident in the trailer was mysteriously resolved without us getting to see what happened. At least at the end of the episode they kind of told us what happened.

Yes, the episode was exciting. Three children wound up in peril. I am guessing that the Ranger’s friend transport the rescue team but does not have medical training. She really likes Coach.
I hope they show what happened at the trailer in a flashback because I want to know what happened to the men who were shooting at the trailer.
I do not know how quickly the Walkers can get their home back because they do not have proof and they will be accusing the D.A.

The Davidsons aren't being very cooperative. I liked the look on Stella's face when the families argued.
Now we know what happened at the trailer. And that man wasn't going to give any information but dying was apparently better.

So that's it. How can they make us wait to find out why Cordell is missing?
It appears because of the fire the Walkers get their land back. All because one of the Davidson women was rescued. Geri called Cordell on the phone? How did he get there so fast?
Wow, Cordell's new partner looked hot in that outfit. Coach recognized she was dressed up. I would have thought that was casual wear. Meanwhile, her date didn't go well. She thinks it wasn't a date.
Stella looked great in that dress. They showed her legs first so I didn't know who that was.

That episode was hard to watch. And I was hoping they would rescue Cordell but now we have to wait until the next episode and they've got Liam too.

That episode was hard to watch. And I was hoping they would rescue Cordell but now we have to wait until the next episode and they've got Liam too. I could not enjoy watching anyone be tortured for that much of an episode. The men said they want Walker to be their next inside man, but the Rangers would be watching Walker very closely so I don’t think that’s going to work.

Although I watched earlier last week, I got in the habit of watching the show on Sunday because that's when I watched some episodes online after my TiVo decided all on its own to delete them. I didn't get around to that this week, though last week I was very late getting off the computer. Last night I made an effort to get off the computer early but that was so I could attend a meeting at my church. There is talk of leaving the United Methodist Church over whether to accept gays. This was supposed to not be a problem because there was to be a vote by the larger church organization, but the pandemic delayed that and now churches want to leave before it is settled whether the denomination will remain conservative.
The idea of seeing Liam and Cordell continue to be prisoners did not appeal to me anyway.

"SNL" was a rerun so I went ahead and hoped they would get out. It was exciting but it was hard because they kept getting tortured.
August and Stella got in a dangerous situation. I hope they get the car back.

I was not ready for more of Cordell and Liam being held prisoner. Even if it was two months later, of course they're still having problems. Why did we have to see them?
I was impressed with Stella getting the car back but there were consequences. It was an exciting toryline. nd Stella didn't want to go to college. Neither did I but what else was I going to do?

I also wish they had spared us the torture scenes. Walker was selfish when he refused to let Liam talk about the trauma. Walker did not have to talk, but he should have listened.
I was sure the plan to get the car back would fail, but I like the way it ended. I thought Cordell was going to show up and rescue the young people, but that was not necessary.
Liam is definitely the better brother. Remember he wanted to adopt his niece and nephew so they would have stability?

There are rumors that the company that bought The CW will not renew this show or the Jensen Ackles produced show, “The Winchesters”. I hope they renew “Walker” because I am enjoying it.

I like it enough to watch, but that's not saying much.
I hope Stella can find a purpose for her life right now. She didn't seem to want to work at the bar.
I'm getting tired of Liam's problems but at least he did something important in working to deal with them.
I enjoyed watching the coach help solve the case and then get pranked.

I was happy to see a lighter episode for a change. Or at least I thought it was going to be. Cordell just had to go and mention his captivity again. And he talked to Liam about it.
And Stella's in jail.
I did like the music in the restaurant. At the Side Step, not so much.
I thought Stella might be fired but come to think of it, she might have to work to pay for the mess.

I'm still one episode behind. I must have misunderstood something because it looked like they skipped a week. Then when I watched the episode it did air on Nov. 10.
And it wasn't pleasant. It seemed like it would be a lighter episode with Stella cleaning up her mess and explaining to her grandmother that it was August's fault, and the coach getting an assignment to provide security for an event with the mayor. And Walker's partner in a hot dress.
Then Cordell and Liam had to go and talk about their captivity and then go into great detail. At least there was the exterior shot of where they were held, which was a nice looking building.
But it turned out their knowledge was necessary to not only save the chief of staff but also stop the operation that was still going on.
The other episode didn't look familiar and I finally looked to see when it first aired, because it didn't look like a new episode in my list of shows. So I've got another one to watch if there isn't a new one.

A lot of Christmas movies over the weekend, and a new SNL. I never had time.
I try to get off the computer earlier but Parade magazine is online only so that just adds to everything.
And here I was thinking about reading each Sunday's actual Parade on Sunday.

No classic SNL so I had time. Not a pleasant episode.
August actually said that to his grandmother?
The man who works for the mayor said he could solve the problem. There can be consequences for August even if he does.
I don't think the script writers understand weather. How can there be thunder and lightning with an ice storm? Where I live an ice storm has rain, not snow or anything that falls as frozen precipitation. Because it is below freezing at the surface, that rain freezes. That's not what was happening.

Exactly how long was Abby in the hospital? For what she had, it shouldn't have been long, and yet no Christmas decorations and several references to Dry January.
Wouldn't Cordell have taken an interstate to Dallas? I guess that was an interstate where he put the kids out and made them walk.
How exactly does one take time off from a bed and breakfast? Did Uncle will have someone to take over? I think they were too hard on him.
I don't know why James got so upset with Trey. Even if he didn't follow the rules, they kind of have a habit of doing that on this show.

So why is Cordell being asked about being in captivity?
Liam messed up his father's deal with the feed store. So much for taking over the ranch someday.
August is still making up for misbehaving and the Side Step still doesn't have a liquor license.
Also, it's already spring, based on how pretty the trees are.

What an unpleasant episode. Even the one or two scenes that came close to being pleasant were just romantic and involved Cordell's partner, and then she broke up with him.
I suspected the other members of Cordell's team who died were being targeted by whoever put Cordell in that prison.
Bonham can't possibly be the man who told the magicians' secrets. He and that man are both bald. But they don't look alike.
I missed seeing Stella and was glad she showed up eventually.
"William" is Liam's uncle. Why did his father call him William?
I was really surprised about Trey. Even more surprised at James. He's never been like that before.

Okay, now it makes sense why James fired Trey. But that's the only good thing about the episode. I am not enjoying it these days.
On the other hand, what's happening to Cordell and the others in his unit is now starting to happen on "Magnum, P.I.", which made its return last night.
The CO who put the group together is dead and the person responsible is searching for the other four, one of whom died early in the series. The others are all regulars on the series.

Well, now Cordell and his partner are in on it.
And the partner nearly put the entire operation at risk. But she couldn't just let the woman die. And what did they do to save her?
And now the person who supposedly died in the explosion is alive? How? And what is he going to do?
Meanwhile, the Side Step will be able to sell alcohol again. We just won't tell how.
Stella and Liam are getting their charity going but now they've had a disagreement.

Well, this is getting interesting.
Kevin is in charge of the bad guys? And he knows Trey. At least Trey got the woman out.
The CO is not dead and it's not clear whether he's lying to Cordell. In any case, what he did was wrong.
In a related story, Magnum got the disgraced detective to give him a file.
