How LOW can you go?

Well, at least that's what I thought on Tuesday. $3.99 Pure, $3.89 Kelly's. I got gas at Kelly's on the way home but the problem is gas could go lower, and I haven't used my points. Two other places were $3.99 and I don't think one of those was earlier in the day.
$4.06 Speedway and FastFuels, on the way home. I think it was a penny higher earlier.
$4.19 Kelly's Marathon (and no baloney!) early, $4.09 on the way home. The two people working there couldn't tell me a thing about the unauthorized charge but I have the new credit card and the charge was taken off my next bill.
$4.19 at one BP and $4.29 at another.
$4.09 Shell closest to where I live. $4.17 Speedway. BP was $4.19 in the morning and $4.15 in the afternoon. $4.21 Citgo.

I saw gas today for $4.15. Yesterday I got it for $4.19.

$4.19 former DB and that was the last time I saw gas over $4 (well, not counting passing the same place again). $3.86 Kangaroo ($3.84 on the way home). $3.89 QM and BP. Still a little high. $3.90 Shell and Circle K ($3.80 Easy Pay). $3.88 BP and Spee. That's not really any better. Given the distance I still have to travel, I'll save more at the other BP. $3.93 at the store where I get points. $3.81 BP. That's the one! And I had enough points to save 30 cents more. That's the same BP where two weeks earlier gas was 30 cents higher than at the next exit on the interstate.
$3.89 Shell closest to where I live. And that's the last time I saw gas below $4 (not counting on the way home). $4.05 BP and Speedway, $4,08 Citgo.

$3.79 former DB, $3.54 Kangaroo (in the afternoon, after it was higher in the morning), QM and BP. $3.47 Circle K ($3.37 Easy Pay). $3.43 Spee. I didn't pass by the other BP, but the BP where I went two weeks ago was $3.71.
$3.85 Shell closest to where I live (in the afternoon), Speedway. Citgo was $3.84 and so was BP in the afternoon. $3.89 former Citgo.

$3.79 Shell closest to where I live going in the other direction. In fact, very few stations had a different price. $3.99 former Kangaroo near where I went to college. $3.76 Murphy's near where Gate used to be.
On Thursday these stations had changed. $3.69 Speedway, BP and former Citgo, $3.63 Citgo.
No change at the Shell closest to where I live and this isn't even what I paid, but I refilled the can I use for my mower. I always spend $5, but this year that has all been gift cards.

$3.59 former DB. $3.39 QM, BP, Shell, Circle K ($3.29 Easy Pay), $3.24 BP and Spee. With points, I filled up at BP for $3.14. As usual, at the next exit on the interstate the stations were 30 cents higher. $3.29 where I get points.
$3.68 Shell closest to where I live. $3.55 BP and Speedway. I think that's what Citgo was too.

Changes only from two weeks ago on Wednesday: $3.29 Shell, $3.26 ($3.16 Easy Pay) Circle K. $3.39 Spee. I didn't pass the BP but the nearest station was a Shell at $3.22 at the interstate. That station is usually a lot higher than anyone else when prices are going up and I've never reported it. At the next exit on the interstate, $3.54. Sheetz on the same street $3.19. I didn't see where I get points because I couldn't earn any more points in August.
$3.34 Speedway, $3.35 BP, $3.39 Citgo, $3.49 former Citgo. Also $3.69 Shell closest to where I live, which I didn't list last week.

$3.59 Shell closest to where I live, $3.29 BP ($3.25 on the way home) and Speedway. I saw Citgo and think it was lower. Quik Chek was behind a tree and I forgot to look. And I only saw (would have seen) because I had to go get a new watch.

I may have made a big mistake. I'm going to the beach next week unless something happens. I had to use my points and there was no guarantee I'd be able to down there where gas is cheaper. But I was nearly out. I had to find an amount that would get me to a gas station where the price is as low as I will find, and last year that meant a place that takes Easy Pay. I ended up filling up.
$3.19 BP, $3.22 on the way home. I was afraid I had made a mistake. $3.17 Speedway. Citgo was higher and the former Citgo was higher than that but I forget the exact amount.
On Thursday (because that's when they have the sandwich I like at the restaurant I go to) $3.23 Kangaroo, QM and BP. I think it was the same at Shell and Circle K (10 cents less with Easy Pay). $3.18 BP, so I stopped there. $3.17 Spee. Just in case the restaurant didn't have the sandwich I wanted I went there first so I could go to the hospital, near where I was getting my exercise, if they let me eat there and they had what I wanted. So I missed seeing what the prices were at the next exit.

I think it's going back up.
$3.14 Speedway on the way down but $3.27 on the way home. BP was $3.15 I think. I saw Citgo was a little higher and the former Citgo was higher than that. So many details to remember.
I only remember what the prices were going down. In the next big town $3.44 was a common price. In the next town after than most places were around $3.35.
It used to be true that gas prices went down significantly across the S.C. line. The Shell at the line was $3.29. It has been years since it was significantly lower. In the next town prices were about the same though one place was $3.19.
Pilot at I-95 was $3.19, and so was Circle K on the other side on the interstate, or $3.09 with Easy Pay. Shell across the street was $3.11 but I didn't see until going home that the credit price was higher. Also, Shell was higher period, with credit higher than that, going home.
The BP where I went last year was $3.18 so it's just as well I used my points already. Also, I couldn't use my points there and had to contact the company. Circle K where I went back when it was a BP was $3.08 ($2.98 Easy Pay). I didn't get gas at that time thought there would have been no reason not to go twice. I filled up, getting $40 worth, on the way home. A Circle K where I get milk each morning was $3.11 ($3.01) but then it went up. And I used my card. It's a good thing I did, because I didn't know what number to enter, so after I had to use my credit card instead, I contacted the company. I couldn't get the web site to work but I went to my email anyway and there was an email address, which meant I got a response. It was a 4-digit number, so I knew what that would be, but I had been asked for an 8-digit number. Some places in the same town were as high as $3.33.

$3.52 Shell closest to where I live. There are 2 gas stations in a town where I used to go to church and they had Homecoming yesterday, with a meal. $3.39 at one. The other had no-ethanol for $5.29. That's the only sign I saw. Wait, maybe that was the place across the street?
