$2.95 Shell across from where I ate, and because I came in a different way, I saw that where I ate it was $2.89. I was in the wrong car to use my gift card. $2.79 Express Mart and I forgot to look at the Sunoco. $2.79 former Quik Chek also. Or was it $2.89? Anyway, Speedway was $2.99. I forget now what Shell closest to where I live was but it was $2.99 yesterday.

And yesterday, $2.79 ($2.69 Easy Pay) Circle K closest to where I live. But $2.99 Shell, so not using the gift card. $2.89 BP. $3.09 Freedom, but another Freedom I've never reported here, which is usually higher than everyone else, was $2.75.

$2.86 Kangaroo, QM and BP. $3.09 Shell and Circle K ($2.99 Easy Pay). I can't remember now what Spee, BP or Circle K were but they were lower. $2.92 where I get points, $2.86 Sheetz. BP and Citgo may have been higher than that. Shell at the interstate had not changed.

$2.83 Shell closest to where I live. If that hasn't changed the car that needs gas will get filled up next time I pass by. $2.77 Sunoco and Speedway, $2.79 Express Mart, $2.81 BP. $2.99 Shell across from where I ate.

I really messed up. I could have gone to BP where it was $2.89. I have all my points and I think I could have used them. Shell was $2.91 and I should have used the gift cards then. But the Shell closest to where I live went up to $3.09. Looking back, I could just have driven the other car there when it was $2.83. And now I need gas in that car. The Freedom I don't report was $2.86 while the other one didn't change. Circle K closest to where I live going in the other direction was $3.09 ($2.99 Easy Pay).

BP, Speedway and where I ate lunch and the Shell across the street were $3.09. Express Mart was $3.04. Sunoco was $2.97. Speedway was $3.49 on the way home. WHAT???

This is frustrating. Back to $2.99 at Shell closest to where I live, $2.95 in the morning but $2.81 in the afternoon Speedway, $2.97 BP, $2.99 Sunoco, $2.99 Fuel Smart (was Quik Chek). I forget now what Express Mart was.

$2.86 Kangaroo, BP and QM. $2.99 Shell in the morning and $2.93 in the afternoon, Circle K across the street $2.93 ($2.83 Easy Pay). BP $2.89, Circle K $2.87 ($2.77 Easy Pay), Spee $2.91. $3.09 where I get points. I forget what Sheetz was but it was lower than it had been. Why didn't I get gas when I could have? I had the BP points!

Now I need it. But in the other car, I didn't pass either a Shell or a BP where I could have done anything. $3.32 Shell closest to where I live, $3.35 other Shell ($3.19 where I eat across the street), $3.35 BP. Or something close to that. $3.09 Speedway, $2.99 Sunoco. Express Mart was close to those last two but now I forget the exact number.

In the car where I have most of my gift cards, I passed several Circle Ks including the closest one to where I live going in the other direction, and the one closest to where I went to college, which were $3.19 ($3.09 Easy Pay). Seems like one was $3.29 early in the day ($3.19 Easy Pay). $3.19 at the Shell where I stopped. The good news is the cashier asked if I was a rewards member. I joined later in the day and if I can use gift cards AND the rewards card, I benefit from that. If I have to have the card, I can only use it with the car with the Shell gift cards. I have to get more of those in a couple of weeks.

Several places had gas for $3.09.

Lots of news this week. I have found out I can't get Shell gift cards for more than just what I use for the mower. I still haven't found my Target card but I don't think I can get Shell cards for the points on my credit card.

$3.26 Shell closest to where I live, but $2.99 BP (I filled up), Speedway and Express Mart.

$3.04 Kangaroo, QM and BP. $3.14 Shell, $3.13 Circle K across the street ($3.03 Easy Pay) but two cents cheaper on the way home. About the same at BP and Spee but I forget the exact number. Circle K at the interstate $3.11 ($3.01 Easy Pay). I think. $3.09 where I get points, $3.11 Sheetz, $3.29 Shell at the interchange, $3.25 Citgo and BP.

$3.19 ($3.09 Easy Pay) Circle K closest to where I live going in the other direction. $2.89 Freedom. The other freedom was $3.29 for self serve. I had to buy gas at Shell with a gift card, even though it was $3.14. With the rewards card that was reduced to $3.09. Then I passed the place again on the way home and it was $3.01! I had to stop. $2.96 with the rewards card, and I used a bigger gift card.

$3.12 BP and Speedway, $3.09 Express Mart, and less than that at Sunoco. $3.14 Shell across from where I ate and I didn't look at the price where I ate. I forget what the Shell closest to where I live was but it was less than $3.20.

I assume new ones are being installed later.

$3.35 Shell closest to where I live, $3.11 Speedway, $3.24 BP ($3.19 on the way home), $3.39 other Shell, $3.19 where I ate but that doesn't count when there are no pumps. The equipment was still sitting there, so what are they waiting for? Sunoco was over $3.30. That's all I remember. Express Mart was higher than last week but I don't remember the number.

Before I forget, I've reported the price at a place where I go in the mountains, where the very low price was next to the words "with wash". The station doesn't do that any more, but it was in the news for a not so good reason.

Tomorrow I go back to the college I graduated from.

The Shell closest to where I live was down below $3.20 but now I can't remember the exact number. Where I ate I asked if the gas pumps were coming back and I got two different versions. The Shell across the street was $3.19 and the former Quick Chek was somewhere close to that, but one place was $3.02. Express Mart was $3.14. I think. Everyone else was unchanged from above.

Circle K closest to where I live going in the other direction somewhere between $3.20 and $3.30 and of course 10 cents less for Easy Pay. $3.29 at the Shell where I got the rewards card. I am close to being out so maybe I should have stopped but hopefully the price will go down. $3.23 ($3.13 Easy Pay) close to the college. I think that's right.

Spee was less than $3.20 but that's all I remember. $3.29 where I get points and BP at the interstate. $3.39 Shell and close to that Citgo. Sheetz was less than $3.20, I think.

$3.32 Circle K ($3.22 Easy Pay). I got an email saying I hadn't used Easy Pay in a long time and just for this week I get 30 cents off. Well, if the price is low enough ...

$3.35 BP, so even though I was nearly out, I didn't buy.

$3.32 Shell, but the gift card didn't work. She couldn't even tell me how much was still on it. If it can't be used, that must mean nothing left, but wouldn't it say that?

I got an email saying if I used my Easy Pay card Circle K would give me 30 cents off, not 10. I drove my newer car which was almost out of gas so I could take full advantage, and just in case oil changes were half off. They were but I didn't see the sign until it was too late. I needed to go home for a radio show and turning around was a nightmare. And so was turning around for Circle K. Even though it was $3.39 ($3.29 Easy Pay) I really needed the gas. I missed the turn and had to get in the left lane while traffic was coming, and then make a U-turn. And nothing told me I had actually saved 30 cents. I went back and checked the email when I got home, but who would rely on the change to take place before the transaction was processed if it didn't happen in the store? I had to make a U-turn coming out of the place.

$3.39 Kangaroo, QM and BP, $3.49 shell and Circle K ($3.39 Easy Pay). No, not that one. $3.39 BP. $3.41 Spee. at the store where I get points $3.29. I've bought gas at a store and found a way to get gas that would allow me to still use my points a second time, but I tried asking about that since I filled up that other time. I finally just filled up. Now watch gas go down. $3.59 Shell and BP, $3.49 Citgo. I forgot to notice Sheetz.

What a relief. $3.08 Liberty and $3.12 Express Mart (forgot to notice Sunoco) but only what is actually being charged counts. $3.49 Shell closest to where a live (a penny less later in the week), BP, Speedway, Shell across from where I ate, and where I ate, where the pumps are there but have plastic bags over the nozzle. $3.25 former Quik Chek.

$3.25 and $3.49 at the two Freedoms, $3.33 Shell, $3.42 ($3.32 Easy Pay) Circle K. Easy Pay has made no attempt to help, so guess how long it will be before I buy from them again. When I go to the beach, Circle K is often cheaper than everyone else even without Easy Pay. However, I will go wherever I find it is the cheapest and hope for the best.

I may be just about out of gas for my mower. I have to fill up tomorrow and if that's the last that's in the can, I'll have to go but I have to buy premium.

$3.23 Kangaroo, QM and BP. Okay, unless another BP is lower. $3.49 Shell and Circle K ($3.39 Easy Pay). Uh-oh. $3.31 BP. $3.39 Circle K ($3.29 Easy Pay) and Spee. There was a news story about a drug deal and an arrest at Spee. $3.39 where I get points. $3.59 Shell next to the interstate and $3.49 BP and Citgo AND Sheetz. I filled up at the first BP but it wasn't easy. I saw where I have to confirm that I want 20 cents off as I was putting my card in the machine and putting the card in stopped that. I'm used to confirming after the card goes in. It took several tries to get my points. The first machine wouldn't work and they had to let me use another. That worked.

And it's a good thing I had to take the car that needed gas, because I didn't see the 50 percent off sign at the oil change place.

I got 100 points when something went wrong with my getting points, but the last 44 didn't benefit me. If things had worked as planned, I would have needed close to $20 worth of food and other stuff at the store on Tuesday. But I didn't have to buy any more stuff when I saw the 100 points did get added. It should have been the correct number of points based on what I got last week.
