The forecast for Saturday was upper 60s. Then why did my heat come on?
The answer: the high was 57.
Yesterday no rain but it was foggy for the longest time and I couldn't believe the man actually said it would be near 80. It was 76.
Rain off and on today and a little cooler, and back to "normal" for a while.

The HIGH Tuesday was 49 and the sun never came out. I was still comfortable with short sleeves.
70 Wednesday, and while Thursday was supposed to be cooler, 70 again.
Cooler today. I know because my heat has been coming on all day.
It hasn't rained much this week. Someone actually commented that it's dry.
This weekend the lows will be in the 20s again. isn't it time for that to be over?

No lows in the 20s. And the highs were in the 50s. Still, the woman who did the children's lesson at the church service yesterday said it was cold outside with the wind. And yet she wore flip-flops.
Warmer this week.

We didn't avoid lows in the 20s. Monday's low was in the LOW 20s which was surprising. But it warmed up quickly.
Although lows have still been relatively low, highs have been in the 70s all week except Monday and that will continue. Cooler this Monday but warming up somewhat after that. There could be some rain.

80 Friday. 67 Saturday with more clouds but Sunday was nice and warmer.
With rain chances every day this week I decided to go somewhere yesterday and I did get to walk outside as a result and didn't have to drive in the rain. I was comfortable with short sleeves when I walked early but not later. This was explained when I watched Roy (Chad) because, even though he is not technically in my TV market, the meteorologist said the temperature had been falling into the 40s all day.
Today, I was hoping that because Britney was outside I could rake. Didn't happen. It was already raining when I went out to walk. And of course the rain stopped after I got dressed. I don't change again once I've already changed. It hasn't gotten out of the 40s according to several newspaper web sites. It's raining now but it hasn't lasted all day.
There is a break from the rain tomorrow and it gets warmer, although there is still a chance of some rain. But then Thursday will be like today, only warmer with thunderstorms possible.
Next weekend it gets cold again.

The forecast was for 67 on Wednesday. At 3 in the afternoon, it was 53. They kept telling us about severe weather. There was drizzle and occasional rain yesterday but the sun never came out and although it was 75 officially, I never felt like it got warm. The wind blew later and there was some rain, but no thunder. I saw the radar on a newscast I recorded and it was bad to the north of where I live and bad to the south. On one newscast there was video of a funnel cloud not far from me. And then there's this: www.facebook.com/fox8news/videos/808464753361364/?t=839

I don't know why it always feels so much colder on the weekend. 57 Saturday after a low of 31, but it was in the 60s yesterday. I was cold all day inside. And outside when I walked. I was determined to wear one of my pretty purple shirts. Those are both short sleeve and I've worn them every Sunday for weeks now. I never wear them any other time of year.

In the 70s all week. Except for 69 on Tuesday, the day it was supposed to be significantly cooler.
Yesterday there was light rain in the morning. In the afternoon it started really pouring and then all of a sudden it was over. Then it rained off and on all night, with thunder in the middle of the night.
This morning it just looked like rain but the sun finally came out.

In the 80s Friday and Saturday, at least officially. It was cloudy enough of the time and a line of thunderstorms came through, so it surprises me that it got as high as 80 anywhere in the area, and the storms cooled things down. They came through just as I was putting out the trash, but it took long enough to process the trash that I was able to take it out after the rain stopped without waiting.
It was warm yesterday too and there was supposed to be severe weather, but at least around here that didn't happen. It hardly even rained.
This week it is cooler but it will warm up and then get cool again. There is disagreement as to when it will rain again and how much. I want to go somewhere and walk outside tomorrow, but I have an eye appointment in a different town. I'll go to the other town Wednesday or Thursday but I'm hoping for better weather than what is predicted.

Every day the high was in the upper 60s or low 70s. One day the LOW was 62.
Wednesday there was drizzle but I did get my last chance to use the mower where it was really looking bad, before it got picked up for whatever gets done annually. Then it rained a little harder at times but not really that much.
And then yesterday the high was 57 AND it was windy. Though it wasn't bad in the morning. The forecast for today was below freezing. This shouldn't be happening in April! The good news is without the virus I would have gone to the college I graduated from and parking is 30 minutes away from the library unless I want to pay an outrageous amount.

26 Saturday! That's not supposed to be happening in April. But it got all the way up to 60. Even Friday wasn't so bad with a high of 57.
76 yesterday and 79 today, and no rain for a while. But Friday it's supposed to rain. How many Fridays have been rainy?

No rain so far today. The forecast high was somewhere around 80. Tuesday and Wednesday it was in the 80s but with more clouds yesterday it stayed in the 70s. However, it was still a nicer day yesterday than I was expecting.

I didn't think it was actually going to rain Saturday once it hadn't rained yet. And yet just in case, I went to the post office early and the road was wet. It didn't quite make it to 80 and I'm not sure it even got up to 70 because no one seemed to care when there was the potential for severe weather which never materialized.
Yesterday was really nice and it got close to 80. Same for today but I think it was cooler in the morning.

It was 80 or close to it all week except today. I kept hearing forecasts for rain but every day was nice except yesterday which was supposed to be the nice day. It was cloudy most of the day and it even rained briefly.
37 this morning and highs will be in the 60s or near 70 for a while.

There is now concern about how dry it is. It was supposed to rain a little on Saturday but I don't think it ever did.
Still highs in the low 70s.

Tomorrow we make up for the lack of rain. Maybe.
32 yesterday and about the same this morning. Quite a change from the past several days. It does warm up quite a bit tomorrow morning.

Finally it rained and my car is no longer yellow. I was able to walk in the morning without it raining and I got a break in the afternoon to put out trash. It was the coolest day all week, not even getting up to 60. However, the morning low wasn't much lower.
Yesterday and today have been nice days and back to normal. It will actually be hot later in the week.

Cooler today but not cold.

I had not expected rain today. But I wasn't paying attention. Every day has been 80 or above lately, but that might not be the case today. I walked early but should have mowed first because I didn't get much mowing done. It has rained off and on all day but I'm hoping that's it.

Temperatures in the 80s continued a couple more days. Wednesday was supposed to be really bad but Tuesday was instead. Fortunately, that didn't happen until I got home. I just looked like it was about to be bad. And then on Wednesday what little rain there was happened late in the day.
I forget which day but there was a tornado in my county. There was a more serious tornado west of Charlotte which got a lot more air time.
It was really different yesterday. A low of 51, which seemed a lot cooler than it was, and it did finally make it to 71. I kept hearing temperatures in the 60s on the radio.
I didn't take the forecast for rain today seriously. I just left my trash container beside the road with the lid off. So I had to dump the water out this morning. It must have really rained last night and I even heard thunder. And there was more of the same early this afternoon, but it has been mostly a nice day, if cloudy.
Hot weather returns for the weekend.

It was kind of cool Saturday but only in the morning.
I was surprised it rained last night, and it rained a lot. Severe weather is possible this afternoon. Yet another front is coming through. I can't remember whether it will result in cooler weather.

Severe weather in some areas, and hail closer to where I live than I would have liked, but not really anything but lots of thunder and a little rain.
Definitely cooler weather. Tuesday was no different.
But Wednesday, which was rainy in the morning, was cold. First it was stated it might not get out of the 50s. I'm not even sure it made it to the 50s. The high was 66 but that was surely at midnight. At 6:00 some places were in the 40s and one place in the mountains was already in the 30s.
39 yesterday morning but it warmed up nicely. It stays warm for a while and no rain.

41 Friday morning, 43 Saturday morning, and then 56.
No chance of rain over the weekend. That's what I heard. My pastor said Sunday he was concerned it was going to rain. So was I, because it looked like it was about to rain most of the day. I think I heard it rain. And it got up to 80.

I guess it's because it was so cold over the weekend, but even though highs are supposed to be near 90 the house isn't hot. Trees also contribute to that. There was one day when it didn't get up to 80.
It must have been about this time last year I had to call to get my air conditioning fixed because it just ran and ran and the house never got cooler.
No rain all week and that's a problem for some people.

Didn't quite make it to 90 Saturday but it did yesterday and it was more than 90 today. There is talk of moving church services earlier if we're going to be outside, but then going back inside was also mentioned. Something has to be done about the mold first. I don't know what that means or, assuming the problem would have happened anyway, what we would do.
70s next weekend and maybe some rain.

There was one day when it didn't quite get up to 90. The rest of the week highs were in the low 90s.
Which makes it amazing that the forecast for Sunday is a high in the 60s.
No rain either, but maybe some tomorrow. Parts of my yard are turning yellow in the shade.
