Nearly every day last week it was in the 60s. The forecast for today is a low of 33 and a high of 52. I'm wearing short sleeves and no jacket. It rained a little yesterday, and it was about the same. Tomorrow it might rain again. Same temperatures. Maybe it'll be warmer because if it's not ...

Forecast high for Friday 60, but we have a low in the 20s tonight.
And the man on the radio used the word "moisture" when he described what was happening next week when it gets colder. I hope that doesn't mean anything.
It sure did rain yesterday when I was taking down my tree. I had to wipe off the boxes of decorations. No place to put the foot locker indoors.

They're calling for patchy freezing fog in my area on the radio for tonight. Has anyone ever seen freezing fog? Is that even possible?

We're clear, sunny and in the upper 60s, but soon to be back in the 70s. I had to wear my coat today, it was cold! I even got a chance to wear my new sock monkey hat. Went from having my a/c on before and during Christmas to shivering with the heat on. Floridians have different ideas as to what constitutes "cold" temperatures. I am a fragile flower, 60 degrees and I'm looking for my long-sleeved tops and nubuck leather jacket, feeling like I'm in the middle of the arctic tundra.

No snow to speak of yet. Today was 44 at 9am when I drove to work. It's been a strange winter.

Either one works....because of the steep concrete walls.
There have been many times when we get rain south of the corridor....and snow to the north.
Plus....I think it helps to get snow if you have a large body of water to your west.
...idk....that is what Chuck Gaidica said. ;D

It didn't make it up to 60 until at least Saturday and I haven't seen what it was Saturday or Sunday. But 65 was the forecast high.
Forecast high 46 today but windy and falling from there during the afternoon. 38 tomorrow. But no moisture, despite an early scare. A newspaper article said this would not be typical weather this January, the way it was last year.

We've got an honest-to-God cold snap going on! Overnight freeze and even a hard-freeze warning the next couple/three nights! Back to the 70s by the weekend, but until then we've got some winter weather! I helped my mom on Sunday prep all the outdoor plants to be ready to cover them for the freezes. One is a GINORMOUS staghorn plant that is about 4 ft across and I'm going to help her drag it into the garage if covering it isn't sufficient. It's IDK how many years old - maybe over 20? - and it would be a crying damn shame if he got frostbit. My mom calls him "Bubba", but I like "Seymour" better (Little Shop of Horrors reference... yes I know "Audrey" would be more accurate, but this plant is definitely a Seymour.) ;D

Too dry and too windy. I smelled smoke on the way home last night, and there's no way anyone's burning things on purpose in this weather.

It's getting to the point where it seems like winter for the first time this winter season in Florida. Can you believe that The holidays were very warm, from Thanksgiving to New Years?

Watching a live report from some fool standing at the habour telling us it is indeed a hurricane we're having and that the habour is flooding.
And for some weird reason he's informing us about how much jerking back and forth him and some skipper needs to do shortly...
I love Live Weather reports!

Where in Florida? I'm in Jacksonville (top Northeast corner of the state, for all of you non-Floridians) We're getting our first hard freeze tonight. Today was in the 50s with windchill and I wore three layers of clothing...I felt like an honorary Winchester!

I rewound and watched the tape of several weather reports from the Fox affiliate--the only one guaranteed to give us this information. The other stations think all they have to do is forecast the weather because we already know this stuff.
53 Thursday, 59 Friday, 64 Saturday, 66 Sunday.
I forgot to look at what yesterday's high was, but even with the sun out it was windy and sometimes the sun would go behind a cloud and that's all it took. The forecast high was 38, then 35. I was walking between two shopping centers, and you don't get heat from being near the building. You get shade, and that doesn't help. So most of my exercise took place indoors. It wasn't a mall, though we have one (actually, a county office building). I just wasn't there.
This morning's low was forecast to be 19.
A newspaper article says this will not be typical weather this January. I hope not.

Last night it was like 29 degrees outside no idea what the wind chill was, but I am sure it was really cold. Oh and get this I live in Florida!
Today its like upper 50s and another freezing night is in the forecast.
Not often we get weather like this, but when we do its cold!
