Record high 78 Friday. Almost that high Saturday but not a record. Back in the 60s on Sunday and yesterday it was 69. With a forecast for 40s in the place where I went, you'd better believe I went yesterday. More 40s tomorrow even here, with rain.

It got up to 58 Tuesday after all. And when it was supposed to rain, it only did at night and got up to 54. I read the state has had its direst fall since the Dust Bowl.
But 47 yesterday. The sun didn't really come out. And I was wearing short sleeves expecting to be warmer. A cashier in Dollar Tree who was wearing short sleeves said she's from New York and she's always hot.
Rain last night and it's supposed to be warmer today. 70s tomorrow and it's supposed to rain.

Upper 60s this weekend. I was happy that it rained because it made it easy to insert stakes into the ground.

Low 50s on Friday after we were promised it would be warmer. 70s on Saturday and a little rain, including a heavy line of showers, but nothing severe.
56 yesterday but warmer the rest of the week. It sure felt cold this morning.

23 on Tuesday! But by the time I walked outside it was warm enough for short sleeves. And except for today that's how it has been all week.
It was supposed to be in the 70s today and it was cloudy in the morning and not nearly as cold. That continues tomorrow.
My family gets together on Sunday but I'm determined to wear a short sleeve shirt, even though it won't really be warm enough. If I'm not spending a lot of time outside, that will work. But the church service is in the parking lot, so I might wish I had bundled up. On that subject, the committee was supposed to meet this week to decide what happens when we go inside. A lot of work has been taking place which I guess was made possible by not meeting inside, including the organ renovation. people who prefer the parking lot will still have that option with a radio station and, I assume, speakers. I say that because the pastor, sound person and scripture reader would do everything inside when it rained.

It was bad enough listening to the Ohio radio station, but since it sounds better during Christmas season, I've been listening to WNAM. In Wisconsin there is snow and the forecast HIGH is 32.

We were told there was no white Christmas this year and that's fine with me. It will be in the 60s. However, the low for today was supposed to be in the low 30s and it was supposed to rain. Some people I went to high school with reported sleet. It rained here but I didn't look to see what was actually falling. However, by the time the rain started it wasn't supposed to be all that cold.
WNAM's forecast high is 25.
We tied a record Friday with 73. Saturday was about the same, with off and on rain. Sunday started out warm and it rained, then it got cooler.
47 for the high yesterday but with the sun out I was comfortable with short sleeves when walking. As long as I wasn't in the shade.

71 Saturday, which wasn't a record.
77 yesterday, which was.
It won't be quite that warm this week but close.

We are also having unusually warm weather. It was close to 70 at the beginning of the week and today's forecast is 51 and cloudy.

It hasn't been below 60 since Tuesday. It looked like rain most of the day Wednesday and yesterday but yesterday was when they kept saying it would rain. Wednesday turned out to be the day there was more rain.
Back to normal Monday.

Record high 78 Saturday. The LOW was 65. Not too different yesterday and it rained off and on. Windy during the night Saturday and Sunday night and some rain. Snow this morning. Yes, that's what I said. The sun is back out, and of course there was never going to be accumulation.

What a difference a week makes! Snow and ice on Monday. So cold on Tuesday, the ice did not melt on cement, but it did melt on the blacktop. Today is 39 degrees. Nighttime temperatures will be in the teens and 20s all week. Outdoor decor will remain until we get some sunshine. It is too cold to bother with it.

Back in the 60s for two days. The rain and possible snow didn't really happen. And now it's back in the 40s for highs, and most of the next week will be about the same, with rain on Sunday.

Snowed last night. I went outside today to clear the car and had to run back inside because the blustery winds made the real feel 10 degrees.

Sunday it got a little warmer, then Monday it didn't get as low as they said at night but didn't get that warm during the day, plus it was a little windy. I still wore short sleeves. It wasn't so bad after a while out in the sun. I had a jacket in the car if I needed it. But that was nothing compared to today and tomorrow. Okay, I didn't feel all that cold and I didn't miss my missing cap like I did on Saturday. We get a break and then there are maps saying how much SNOW. One map, which is the one I like, says none around here.
I don't think we've had a chance of snow on Sunday since we started having the service in the parking lot. It may turn out we can't have one at all, but we have videos at least some of the time. I was on a web site where someone asked how to find music like I listen to online. I have now found a new station after I tried several of them, though I'm still listening to Christmas music. It's in Arizona, not Ohio or Wisconsin. Though I have yet to hear a forecast.

Highs were in the 40s Tuesday and Wednesday but not as cold as they said. Though Wednesday I wished I had worn my jacket and that I had found my cap, which is missing. The cap was in the pocket of the jacket, which I washed, but I don't know what happened to it after I took it out of the dryer. I bought a new one yesterday but it doesn't cover my ears, which could be important Sunday.
It was warm enough yesterday afternoon for me to wear short sleeves but so many people were still bundled up.
What happens Sunday depends on the temperature, not just at the surface but above. It is almost certain there will be no service but when I checked my email to see if anything had been said about it I found out my pastor had surgery. I don't check that email address often enough but I chose an address I don't use for anything else because we get so many emails.

I was right about no service, and it was sleeting, not snowing, at the time I would have gone. In fact, that's all it did after it got light. It had snowed but not enough to cover everything. However, everything was covered after the last of the precipitation came through. Freezing rain was the big concern but that never happened. The official high was 38 but I suspect that was the midnight temperature. Late in the day there was dripping so it at least got above freezing.
I walked early yesterday but stayed in the grass and didn't get much exercise, but I really need exercise. This morning was a day a lot like the one when I fell, and on that day I should have waited for melting. That's what I did today. I was able to walked on cleared road to the main road, which was clear and dry.

It warmed up a lot faster than expected. 50 on Tuesday, though that didn't do a whole lot for melting. Then 59 on Wednesday.
Yesterday it didn't get cold again but it didn't get warm. And it rained all day.
Today it's cold again and it will really be cold this weekend. But at least they're no longer saying it will snow. I heard something fall earlier but I think that's over now.

It snowed Friday night but it was nice and sunny and there was plenty of melting on Saturday. The road was clear so I don't know why the paper was late. We didn't have a service but that was going to be true anyway due to the virus. I couldn't have gone because, while the official low was 21, I was surprised to find my water off. I've never had to wait until after 10:00 for my water to come back. In fact, it's usually just the hot water that freezes. I thought having heat now in my bathroom was going to solve that problem. Anyway, I've been letting the water drip so that won't happen again and with the very cold forecast for this weekend, I'll definitely have the water running all night.
55 Monday, so I wasn't going to pass up the chance to go somewhere and not have to bundle up. Tuesday it was supposed to rain and be cool, but that changed so I was definitely going somewhere. Since I hadn't found gas at a BP cheap enough to take advantage of, I went to the one place where I could get the gas cheap enough. And the high was 62.
48 yesterday, which wasn't really bad, but they kept saying how cold it was going to be.
Would you believe it is supposed to snow for the third weekend in a row? I hope this time they're wrong. And I just saw a newspaper article that said the fourth time this month. Here, that didn't happen.

Not since 2000 has it snowed so many times in such a short period in Charlotte. And before that it hadn't happened since 1960. However, it only covered the ground where I live this time and the road was always clear. I even got my newspaper. By the end of the day Saturday, even though it never got as high as 40, there wasn't much left.
I let my water run for several days. It wasted water to do that but I didn't want to forget, and it got down to 19 on Sunday before recovering to 51. We still didn't have a church service again because of the virus, not the weather. Besides, my pastor is having other health problems.
60s later this week.

It was supposed to get up in the 60s several times this week, but until last night at 10, it had not. The high Monday was 59, but every day it got down in the 20s and all the highs were in the low 50s. It was 65 during the 10:00 news after a high earlier in the day of 53, after the one station updates its web site. We had occasional rain yesterday and today.
I haven't heard what will happen this weekend but regardless, no service because of the virus. The pastor's wife (NOT the pastor, which isn't good news) said the next Sunday we will have a service.

I couldn't believe it was in the upper 40s on Saturday because it was cold!
For the fourth week in a row we had a church service called off because of snow already on the ground or the chance of a wintry mix. This time, however, the wintry mix was delayed a day and yesterday it really was cold. The pastor was feeling up to making us a video so I had that to watch.
As of last night it looked like we would be doing it for a fifth week. If it doesn't happen, we are having a service because the virus threat is not as great.

71 Saturday. The sun was out Sunday morning despite the forecast but it was cold and we were back in the parking lot, and by that time it looked like rain. My pastor led the service but let the woman do the sermon like she was supposed to after his surgery, before the first winter weather event. Rain did fall later but i think that was all, and then the sun came back out.
It gets warmer later in the week.

It was cold all week in the morning, though warm enough in the afternoon. Yesterday it was supposed to rain which was why I went to pick up my pants on Wednesday. It looked like rain all day and was quite windy but didn't rain until after dark. And it was in the 70s. At night. Cooler tonight. Warmer next week.

62 on Saturday (or was that just the forecast?) and 55 Sunday after a low of 25.
Yesterday it was back in the 60s and it is supposed to be in the 70s all week, but today was the first of several days when it was supposed to rain, which is why I wasn't here yesterday. The only rain today had already fallen before I went outside. Next Monday if the rain doesn't end soon enough ...

I was wrong about 70s all week, but 60s will be coming back after a cool weekend. That concern about what precipitation would be falling may not be a big deal.
Lows were a lot higher than usual this week. But yesterday it never got out of the 50s and I believe it was cooler in the afternoon than in the morning.
Also, all that talk about rain every day was just talk. Wednesday it really rained most of the morning and then the sun came out. Yesterday there was just occasional drizzle.

It is supposed to get warmer this week, but for some reason it was so much cooler when the high was 54 on Saturday than it is when I wear short sleeves during the week.
It didn't even get out of the 40s yesterday but the rain stopped before it could get cold enough to be anything else.
