After record highs, it has been normal if not below normal. The highs have certainly been below normal. The lows haven't been that low but all that's about to change. Sunday's forecast keeps going lower and lower. Tuesday it didn't rain until late, and Wednesday it was raining early and then it stopped. Yesterday it just looked like rain.

21 degrees and the wind chill makes it feel like 5 degrees.

The web site where I get my lows and highs at 6:00 each day didn't even bother to do anything Friday. The hint as to why was that the high was still being forecast at 63. I don't even remember what the low was. But there was rain during the night and even lightning. I forgot to mention lightning during the night last week. Lightning usually happens during warm weather. But as soon as I got up and went outside, it was COLD. The web site said the high was 55, but you just know that was at midnight. There's no way it was that warm, and it was windy too.
I didn't even go to church because we were outside, but after the forecast low kept going down and down and down, it finally ended up being 20. It actually didn't feel too bad when I went out and walked, but I was moving. If I was sitting in the car, even if the sun felt warm enough, I might not have been able to hear without opening the door. Plus it was an hour earlier. I watched a video of the service from two weeks ago when it rained and I didn't go. As far as I know there was no video ready from yesterday.
It already feels quite a bit warmer outside.

The TV station with Roy said many people saw snow Saturday.
However, there the low was 32 and the high 64.
Here, about the same.

It seems like every week it rains on Wednesday. This week the rain held off until afternoon.
I finally got around to watching a weather report that said it was warmer Saturday than Sunday. No it wasn't! That's not fair! Life isn't fair, said the meteorologist. It was 55 during the night Friday night. 52 was Sunday's high.
It was warmer Tuesday, then cooler, then yesterday it was 75. Rain tonight, then about the same tomorrow.

79 Saturday, 69 Sunday after a low of 47. You wouldn't believe how much of a difference that was.

70s or close to it all week. There was a significant threat of severe weather on Wednesday but that stayed west of where I live. Didn't stop me from having to watch several shows either online or when there is a rerun. The forecast was for only afternoon rain but it rained in the morning.
Just like two weeks ago, wind chill is a major factor this weekend.

Not as bad as predicted. 65 Saturday but windy. Not bad Sunday but cold early. 28 yesterday morning, almost a record, and even though it got up to 65, it sure didn't feel like it with the wind. Today was supposed to be cooler.

Back in the 70s but not 80 like predicted. It's rare to hear a forecast with a 100 percent chance of rain two days in advance. Still, it wasn't raining early, and the sun was out later. It's supposed to be about like normal for several days.

I just found out that on Thursday there was a tornado in my county on Thursday. A confirmed one!
Cool in the morning but 70s in the afternoon. And it rains tomorrow.

Boy, does it rain tomorrow. But it didn't last all day.
That confirmed tornado was an EF2. That's not a minor one!
It got up to 80 Wednesday and there was supposed to be severe weather yesterday, but that stayed to the south. We might have had some rain later.
Snow in the mountains this weekend and it will be quite cool for this time of year.

How did it get so cold? It's April!
I even wore short sleeves because 60 degrees when the sun is out is plenty warm. I wore long sleeves to walk in the morning. It was nowhere near 60! And overcast. And windy!
Three degrees short of a record yesterday before it recovered to 68. 80 today.

Today was the day it was supposed to rain and the sun has been out all day.
It wasn't supposed to rain Tuesday but as I was leaving the library it started. I got home in time for it to be over.
80 or close to it every day.
Nice weather this weekend.

80 or close to it, after rain early on Saturday and a really nice Sunday.
Then it really rained this morning as well as last night and I can't believe how much colder it is. The forecast HIGH is 55. Then it's almost like winter for the next couple of days.

We were told to prepare for frost but the official low was 39. The record was 28 in 1983 and I remember how cold it was that year. On one of those days I had a big paper due in college and couldn't finish it by the deadline. I turned in the paper itself without a bibliography and then turned in the bibliography after I finished it. No penalty!
80s are coming back. It hasn't been all that cold except for Tuesday which wasn't really bad (for January).

It has been in the 80s lately. Today, whether it made it to 80 was also going to play a role in whether we got severe weather. Where I live, I heard thunder earlier but it has been sunny most of the day. The forecast was why I wasn't here yesterday.
It will get cooler later in the week.

I kept seeing forecasts for rain. North and south of here, hail reports. Nothing here, not even thunder. It's hot outside but the house stays cool.

Upper 80s early in the week, and less chance of rain on Tuesday. Actually, it rained more on Tuesday than it did on Wednesday, when it was supposed to.
The man on the radio said yesterday was to be a beautiful day. I heard someone say it looked like rain.
Today it is supposed to rain, but there was only a chance of a shower in the morning. There was light drizzle most of the morning.

There were thundershowers Friday night and a brief power outage. I had to go online to see a few very important minutes of "Magnum PI" (I missed an entire fight, and I did know Rick's baby was fine but the mother wasn't) and "Dynasty". What I missed on "Dynasty" wasn't as bad because the outage happened in a commercial break, but it still took a while for the TiVo to restart.
Saturday it was supposed to rain after 1:00. Perfect timing! Then it stopped. Then it started again as I was taking out the first of the trash and putting gas in the mower, which I'd rather not do just before taking clothes out of the dryer or making lunch or washing dishes. By the time I actually took out the trash the rain was over.
It only got up to 60 Sunday! And it looked like it would rain. A miserable day. Worse yet, I turned off my heat to turn on the air conditioning jut to make sure it worked. The good news is I won't pay for any more propane.

It has been warmer this week and the low pressure off the coast has moved inland like they said it would, but the rain today hasn't been as bad as they first said. Hopefully that will be true tomorrow.

It didn't rain as much as they said it would but there has been at least a brief shower every day. And it has been in the 80s most days, and 90s are in the forecast.

No rain, at least not here. Every day for the next several, it might. The third Saturday in a row like this. Plus after 93 yesterday, it might be even hotter.

We are also experiencing a heatwave with temperatures in the 90’s. The Preakness runs today. I hope people have some shade.

I'm not sure what the high was Saturday. Each time someone says what it was, it is different. Officially, one of the times it was reported to be 89. Where I live there was some rain but it never got as bad as it looked like it would. As I dumped my trash it looked like it was going to be bad.
No rain early yesterday and almost as hot. I think a line of showers came through after dark.
Today it has been cloudy all day and a line of thunderstorms came through, but mostly rain. I didn't know the Google search page could tell you there was a tornado warning.

For the second time this week, severe weather yesterday. A tornado was confirmed but it stopped before getting to my area. Nothing here yesterday but "Jeopardy" was not on either channel, all because of something going on far to the west in each case. I'm just glad the CBS shows already had their finales. Rain last night but the severe weather promised didn't happen.
It was really cool on Tuesday and Wednesday and no rain, even though it looked like it was about to rain all day both days.
