59 Friday. Still, I heard loud thunder during the night and even got a phone call. Some of the college students were talking about this today, and one had more than one phone since one was a cell phone. They have a system that calls everyone in the county for a tornado warning. Now I wasn't awake enough to comprehend that what I was hearing on my answering machine was an emergency. I remembered that they had done this before and a tornado really was headed my way but never made it. But I didn't process all this enough to actually do anything. There was significant damage in my area, but not in my immediate area.
53 yesterday. The s-word was used in today's forecast but I felt only a few raindrops. It is very windy.

Talk about irony. The woman in charge of the checkout desk at the college library had the door open on one of those really cold days. I was wearing a jacket and was the coldest I had ever been sitting at my usual computer. But apprently the heat was on so high she was hot. She finally closed the door. Now I've been in that library when there was no heat and not been cold like that.
But today I wore short sleeves and no jacket. It will be warmer tomorrow which is why I waited to go somewhere. Walking for five minutes each way isn't so bad. Walking for an hour is a different story. And yet I wasn't cold and she was.

69 Wednesday, 72 yesterday. The rain came during the night, but I felt sprinkles and saw lots of dark clouds during the day yesterday. It's cold out there today.

Greetings El!  It was 67˚f a few days ago....and there was snow this morning with temps in the teens. Big 50's and 60's all next week. It looks like the winter has come and gone here without firing a single shot. |

When I looked out the window and saw the neighbors' children in diapers and sleeveless shirts, I knew it was warm!  Temperature is 79 degrees, blue sky, and white clouds so fluffy I took a picture of them. |

the temperature is now the same as yours antiarbitrator it is 79 here as well and my two pear trees have burst in bloom so i know spring is here at last

There was a freeze warning Sunday. Low 45 and high 72 yesterday. I didn't wear a jacket when I walked in the morning, made worse by the fact the sun disappeared. Nevertheless, I'm sure you'll agree I would't have been happy later. The sun didn't come out much and I may have been in an area where it was cooler. 80 the rest of the week. |

Forgot one. 84 yesterday and I forgot to check whether that was a record.
But it did rain. For about a minute. And it rained several times during the night. Now it looks as if it never rained, which is a shame because my allergies are really bothering me (but for the first time in three weeks, I can take something tomorrow night!). The trees sure are pretty, though. More rain is possible.

It was 83 Friday but the record was 84. I want to know what happened to all the rain we were promised. I got rained on while walking outside  but it wasn't enough for anything to even be wet today. And my ear has been stopped up and the other ear was hurting. This was after I took my first allergy medicine in three weeks. I can't take any more because, especially with the time change, I'm already waking up not even hardly knowing where I am. |
