I heard several bad songs on "Nashville", but I think they were all cut off early. The ones I heard in their entirety were mostly good. Even the one with the hot teenagers dancing. It sounded country to me.
I don't know whether that one band's songs were supposed to be country, but they sounded pretty good.
Nothing was great, in my opinion. The only great songs so far were played on WSM last week, as I said.

The best song I heard this week was the one playing when Rayna was looking through her dresses. And it was on the radio since the DJ mentioned George Jones.
All the songs were good this week. Even the one the waitress was going to sing before she got nervous and was replaced by Juliette. I don't know why all these contemporary-sounding songs sound so good here when the ones on the radio don't.
A guy I went to high school with put a photo on his Facebook page. I'll try to find a way to link to the photo if I remember. In the left lane was an 18-wheeler with "Taylor" in large letters. In the right lane another one said "Swift".

I didn't like the music on "Nashville" as much this week.

Even worse this week. I only liked one song performed on the show, by a band when Avery met with that woman who just wanted to get him in bed. "You Ain't Woman Enough" by Loretta Lynn was playing somewhere and that was the other good song.
I like Juliette's old house, but the new one fits her personality more.
Coleman is a good man and that was terrible what they did.

I sincerely hope that mess Taylor Swift performed Sunday night doesn't sound like that on country radio.

I heard somewhere that Juliette on "Nashville" is based on Carrie Underwood. But she's too nice.

I heard two songs in a row I liked on a "new country" station, which is unusual. One had the words "cowboys and angels", while the other was really fast-moving and I can't remember any lyrics right now. But I'll remember them when I see them.
I'll guess that it's Dustin Lynch.

I can always listen to one of two country stations in this area if the sun is out. I generally don't because I tend to prefer pop music, but if country is my only choice, these stations are good.
One is hard to pick up around here especially in the morning, but if I'm near where it's located, it's a really good station. Around the time of sunset this time of year, that station changes to "Outlaw", which isn't necessarily as good, and later bluegrass, with religious programming after that.
The other I actually listened to after dark because I was in the town where it is located at the time.

On "Nashville", they should be ashamed of that mess in the Ryman Auditorium.
The lyrics, had anyone been able to hear them, might very well have been country.
"Ring of Fire" was the one good song in the episode.

Not much good about last night's episode. The music was nothing to write home about. I think I liked one song.

I do like the radio station I spent most of the day listening to yesterday. Around here it gets too much interference from a hip-hop station and from another station that plays junk.

I didn't know what "Nashville" was going to do last night, but fortunately I checked to make sure "The Middle" was one I had seen.
Interesting that all the songs in the first half were ones I liked and those in the second half I didn't.
At least I think that's right.

I pray that Patty Loveless is having herself a safe and awesome 56th birthday today! God bless you and her always!!! Holly P.S. I wish that she was still played on the radio the way that she used to be. Its like we don't have as many female singers there anymore.

Have we now reached this point? No, the old time favorites are Conway Twitty, George Jones, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Tammy Wynette, and Loretta Lynn.

Oh yes Sugarland has a lot of good songs! "Baby Girl" is the only song of theirs I like. "It Happens" would be a good song except for the bad language. "Stuck Like Glue" is a travesty. And now, something for you Taylor Swift fans. I finally found out what I need to do, and no, I still don't have a Photobucket account, but Anti assures me this is all right. www.daybow.com/Exchange_File/Taylor_Swift.jpg
