I am glad you were able to read at least one of them Tanmi and give your feedback, that same author has a male counterpart to Agatha, he's interesting but he's not as good as Agatha to me!

Marc built a gorgeous container last year out of cedar to use for herbs. I put it on the deck and filled it up. It still isn't enough to hold all of the herbs I plant. I'll have to get most of the plants from the centers once they open. I did seed a few, but I didn't take into account how much Alex would like to eat cilantro and pretty much anything else.
AVP, I like how descriptive the books are. The characters easily come to life and the scenery is lovely.
I'm doing an online training class today. It's more of refresher. Obviously taking breaks... It's going to take all day.

It's going to take all day. I've thought about herbs, but I just don't use them all that much to make it worthwhile. I need to get more dirt, it's settled over the years and seems really empty this year. Last year I never got around to planting anything, I've got to check and see if I still have a tomato cage or not.

I usually do three pots of tomatoes, different varieties. I think this year, I'll stick to cherry tomato and be done with it. I've planted corn two years running and the deer always get to them before me. I plant cucumbers and dill and make pickles. I give them away, they are always a hit. People just seem to like getting homemade gifts.
I am running reports today and doing some online training. Not exciting, but keeps me busy.
I saw that the Agatha Raisin books were made into a television series. I don't get the service, but it was interesting to see the casting.

The television series was okay, I watched the movie based on the first book and it was okay just they changed up how nosy Agatha is and other details.

The television series was okay, I watched the movie based on the first book and it was okay just they changed up how nosy Agatha is and other details. A major detail change is her appearance. She became a blond with blue eyes, instead a brunette with "bear-like" eyes. Oh, well, such is movie making.

I know I don't like when they do changes like that. It's like, "Did you even read the source material?"

I believe they think we would find this version more appealing and accepting of her rude side. She doesn't resemble the character in the book in the slightest.

Homemade pickles are so much better than store bought, but I've never bothered myself. I have put cucumbers in my pickle juice from store bought pickles, even that is better than the ones that came in the jar originally. I've decided on 1 tomato, 1-2 jalapenos (Kevin loves homemade jalapeno poppers), and a row of spinach. I think that is all that will fit in my 4x4 garden. Now I need to catch up on work so that I can have an afternoon to get my stuff planted.

Besides the cucumber and tomatoes, I'll add in green peppers and jalapenos. We'll get to eat those. I did two jalapeno plants last year and we were overwhelmed. I took them to work, so they didn't go to waste.
I gave up on strawberries, because it's another one we never got to eat. Birds nibbled at them all. I might try the corn again, but I don't know. Deer would be able to get them, no matter what I do.
Working today. I should stay relatively busy.

So. Bra, or no bra? I read that bras are not being worn as much as normal, due to not leaving house.

I've been wearing a bra as normal. I've also been wearing my same "uniform" of jeans and T-shirts. Every once in a while I'll wear sweatpants instead, but that is pretty normal for me anyway.
I gave up on underwire ones years ago though, I just wear comfy, unflattering ones now. haha

The surgery I had is on the left side of my back and a bra is highly uncomfortable. At least that's my excuse. I am wearing yoga pants and a tee. It's it's cool like today, a long-sleeve tee. My neighbor, who has been alone at home throughout this ordeal has been having groceries delivered at her home. Anyway...she cooked up a Cinco de Mayo meal yesterday. She put together a tray of food, enough for four meals and left it on our stoop yesterday. It was extremely thoughtful and delicious!!!

That was so nice of them. I'd like to try the grocery delivery or even pick up, but the only grocery store in town that does it is Walmart and I don't like their meat so I don't shop their often. I shop at Kroger, but we just have a tiny store and they don't offer those options. I have thought about driving a few towns north to where they do have a Kroger that does pick up, but I don't plan that far ahead.

I posted earlier and it's gone. This isn't the first time this happened this week. I wonder what is going on.
I don't feel like typing all of it again.

Do you think they are being deleted by a moderator or just computers being glitchy? I really want to do something normal for Mother's Day like go to a movie or eat a restaurant. I still don't know what we're going to be doing this weekend. I want to camp, but I want to camp in the mountains and its too early for that, there is too much snow still. We'll probably end up at the cabin again.

I don't know why a moderator would waste time with it. My posts are generally innocuous.
We have snow flurries this morning. Wow!! It's getting down to 25° tonight!!
I thought you liked going to the cabin? Is it just that you've been there so often?

I thought you liked going to the cabin? Is it just that you've been there so often? I saw that there is supposed to be snow in some eastern parts of the country! Yes, we've just been there every weekend now for months and with the weather getting nicer, I was hoping for something different. I did end up having a good time. We had a fire on Saturday night and ate s'mores. I was able to watch the entire Sanditon series again, which I've been meaning to do and just haven't had time. Emily was finally able to get back to cheer last week! They are keeping the groups to 10 or less and they aren't doing any stunting yet. They are mostly doing stretching and tumbling, all which can be done from 6 ft apart from each other. They have to bring their own water bottles so they don't all share the drinking fountain and they have hand sanitizer all over the place. This week is the last week for school assignments. Next week is the last week of school and they are done if they don't have any missing work they need to make up. I'm ready for summer break to officially start so we can be done with this online stuff.

I pulled one of my Merr-colored towels out of the dryer and it's falling apart even worse than before. I pulled on a string and it's broken into two pieces. I can still use it. It's pretty but it won't be around much longer.

Thank you, AVP.
Merr, it sounds like your life may be stabilizing!! Of course, you'll be busy taking the kids to their summer appointments.
It's gorgeous today. Need to get out and walk.
I had a scan scheduled yesterday, at the hospital. It was very organized, go in through emergency door, answer questions, go right, not left (emergency waiting room) and I barely saw any people. A nurse told me that foot traffic was down significantly and that actual emergency cases were coming to hospital. It's a shame to think people who needed it weren't coming.
We hit a drive-through the way back from hospital. It was the first time we have eaten anything from a restaurant during this containment. I've had no appetite though, so that was part of it. I've lost a lot of weight.

Yesterday our house got really warm but I'm just not ready to turn the AC on yet! I have a friend who needed back surgery last week because she couldn't move and she was very sad because her husband dropped her off at the front door and then just waited for someone to call him to come back later to pick her up. She had to do the whole thing alone. We are eating out less as well, which actually surprised me. I didn't think I'd be in the mood to cook and that I'd just hit a drive through most days, but I've done well and we've eaten at home a lot. My grocery bill is a lot bigger, but no school lunch to pay for and less eating out, so that would make sense. I hope you get your appetite back and that your scan comes back A-okay!

(sigh) Tanmi Tanmi Tanmi.... we have a real problem My Friend! I sent an introduction letter to a new client this morning—sending her all the specs for their ad program as well as my welcoming jokes! Client's name is Tanmi Brooker. Marketing Manager for a large robotics company. I copied the account manager on the email too, showing him how diligent I was working from home! He emails me back in two minutes... "Nice letter, but who the hell is TANMI?" Goops... Tami Brooker! But, after all these years, there IS no other way to spell it!

I hope it comes back with nothing. I don't know how I would cope without Marc at hospital.
