Wait..isn't this episode about people getting killed by their worst fears?? Who the fuck is scared of a unicorn?? Dude... o.o good point... A fucking pansy maybe? If you're lame enough to be scared of a unicorn, you deserve to be speared. Keep the damn pansys off SPN! Well..unless they have Ghost Sickness. Was that what it was? Where Dean was afraid of the little dog?

maybe it was the report of killer unicorns and those deadly silver moonbeams shooting out of their butts, that drew sam's attention to the case. Ha! Yep, Sam can be freaky-deaky that way!

Was that what it was? Where Dean was afraid of the little dog? Yeah, that was in S4. The episode was called Yellow Fever. He had contracted Ghost Sickness and I think he was like hallucinating the little Yorkie to be a hellhound hence why he was running from it. They threw in the comedy aspect of it being a little Yorkie with a pink bow on top of her head. I personally thought it was hilarious. You'll quickly find that most people are offended by it...

Ok, this is almost certainly a can of worms, but people were really offended? By what?

Ok, this is almost certainly a can of worms, but people were really offended? By what? It probably is, but I don't really care because I'm not out to try and impress or piss anybody off with my opinions. Basically a lot of Dean fans got offended by the writers portraying Dean in such a manner because he'd been dragged to Hell by hellhounds. They found it cruel and offensive of the writers to exploit the manner in which he'd been to Hell, etc... you can probably figure out the rest for yourself. I can see where they're coming from, but it's really no big deal to me. I like seeing the humor in things. Some just don't, I guess.

Yeah, I agree, without some humor, this show would be AWFULLY dark. It skirts the edge of depressing at times, as it is! I loved that episode.

That's just one of things about Supernatural that makes it so great. Working humor into a serious situation. they usually do it perfectly. I mean, the first episode...."Driver picks the music, shotgun shuts his piehole." Outstanding. I've never heard anyone say that scene with Dean running away in fear from that Yorkie was anything but hilarious.

I have been watching this show since its first episode aired, but I have a life outside of "fandoms."

I didn't do anything wrong... all I did was point out it was cakehole, not piehole. o.o If people are offended by that, I'm thinking some need a thicker skin.
And I was just pointing out that I thought maybe she might not have been in the fandom long enough to hear otherwise. I've only been in the fandom for a few years, but been watching the show since the beginning. Why does everything I say have to be taken as offensively or snarked at? Christ almighty a girl can't even say a fucking thing around here without being accused of something.

Question I have:
Why would kids draw their worst fears? Especially at some seemingly kid friendly place?
Count me in as confused why Unicorns are scary. I understand the clown fear, but not Unicorns.
As for spiders, I don't like them either. However, I can kill smaller ones if I have to. I DO NOT like the bigger, tarantula-type ones, those creep me out alot.

My favorite is when he screemed like a girl when the cat jumped out of the locker. Cosely followed by his fear Sam would send him back to hell. The Yorkie was precious.

Agreed. Dean running like a scared little girl made me roar with laughter. And jumping like a top at that cat? Priceless. I think it's because he's always so badass that make the 180 reactions so good.

I liked YF as well and found Dean to be pretty funny.
If anyone's seen the bloopers, there is one where the boys are in the cat scene and instead of Dean jumping around like the scene shows, he's instead screamed and jumped into Sam's arms. It's pretty funny.

The cat jumping out of the locker was totally priceless and that Yorkie was adorable. I found the episode hysterical though, personally. It's good to laugh at the show sometimes considering how bleak it is.

this self-admitted dean woman LOVED 'yf'. by the time the epi ended, i was in need of an oxygen mask from all the laughing i did. to see badazz hunter dean running away from a yorkie wearing a pink bow, was freaking hilarious. i knew the writers were making a good humored spin on dean's experience with hellhounds, but i also got their joke. my favorite humorous scene EVER from this show, will always be the dean cat scream hell, i'm laughing right now, just writing about it. i can only imagine how many takes they had to do of that scene alone. between jensen's being silly and jared not being able to stop himself from laughing his butt off , i'm sure they had to re-shoot many times. my second favorite humorous scene is from 'hellhouse'. it's the scene where sam superglues the beer bottle to dean's hand. one of the reasons i love that scene is the honest to god real smile and laugh that grace sam's face. when's the last time we saw either brother give a true heartfelt smile or laugh? of course, any half naked scene of the boys is ALWAYS welcome

lol, well since we haven't actually HAD an epi where they're full on naked, i'll take what i can get. if they want to strut around bare butt naked in an epi or 5, i won't complain of course, we may all be in need of oxygen masks and defibulators, after the epi

I don't understand the phenomenon. Why would anyone want to put a horn on a horse? And why is giving it the ability to gore you supposed to make it cuter?

Nomophobia: This modern phobia affects people who are very afraid of losing cell phone contact. Zemmiphobia: It certainly sounds frightening: zemmiphobia is the fear of "the great mole rat." Ancraophobia: The fear of wind is also called anemophobia Aulophobia: Aulophobia refers to the fear of flutes Linonophobia: Though it’s useful, string is the cause of anxiety for people with linonophobia Rhabdophobia: This anxiety disorder means several things: the fear of magic and a magic wand, being beaten by a rod, or being very harshly criticized. Ablutophobia: Ablutophobia is the fear of washing or bathing Rhypophobia: People who are afraid of defecation have rhypophobia, and are at risk for other health problems. Allodoxaphobia: If you like to voice your thoughts on a particular subject, you may want to stay away from people with allodoxaphobia, or the fear of opinions. Porphyrophobia: The color purple causes some people to be very afraid and develop this condition. Arachibutyrophobia: If you’re desperately afraid of peanut butter sticking to the roof of your mouth, you have arachibutyrophobia. Blennophobia: Unless you’re in a science fiction movie, you probably won’t come into contact with slime, but some people are afraid of it anyway. Cardiophobia: Although the heart is your lifeline, some people are afraid of it. Coprastasophobia: Some people are actually terribly afraid of becoming constipated. Didaskaleinophobia: If you’d rather skip class, just claim this phobia, which refers to the fear of going to school. Nomatophobia: This phobia refers to the fear of names. Lipophobia: The fear of fats in food may be blamed on the red meat scare of 1977. Hormephobia: Hormephobia refers to a person’s fear of experiencing shock, which is probably made more likely after an anxiety attack. Sesquipedalophobia: This term refers to the fear of long words, and seems like a cruel joke. Phobophobia: This condition is described as a rare disorder and refers to the fear of having a phobia. Hellenologophobia: Confusing, highly technical terminology — including Greek terms — make those with hellenologophobia anxious. Cymophobia: It’s understandable that some people might be afraid of waves, but this phobia also refers to the fear of "wave-like motions." Pteronophobia: The idea of being tickled with feathers is upsetting for those with pteronophobia. Optophobia: Opening one’s eyes is just too stressful for some individuals. These are from a nursing website. Anyone have any of these?

I'm thinking a few have this one lol. How bizarre. We really do have a weird and wonderful world.
