There is a poll that really is quite disgusting. This is a once great show and can be again but these sorts of fans are making it rather embarrassing and have no sense of a line to not cross.

They don't care that Dean isn't gay or that Jensen will be asked for an interview to talk about it. All they want is it to feed their non canon fix.

They are the only choice on the poll that isn't canon at all.

Lets get rid of this once and for and so we can show that this show isn't about that and never will be and so Jensen doesn't have to answer any stupid awkward questions.

Yeah, but that's FRIENDSHIP and the bond that pertains to that relationship. They are not a couple, and anybody who isn't brain dead will realize why some of use are irked about this poll

There were at least 2 other non canon pairings from what I can tell. It's harmless. Don't get so worked up. The actors are big boys and if the interview idea is unappealing to them, they can turn it down. They know about Destiel. They know we've got an "imaginative" bunch of folks in this fandom. They also know we vote for them in every poll until our fingers bleed, that we love, support, and appreciate their work, and spend money on tickets to conventions to meet them. I'm sure some fans care way more about this than the actors ever will. It's not canon...duh...but it's not going anywhere. Accept, ignore, and move on IMO.

You make a point. A good point. I mean I am not spending my time voting against time, don't have time for it, but I am voicing my opineon on it because after they win I have to suffer hearing about many Cas/Dean fans about how the network will make them canon.

Trust me friday I have seen way to much negative stuff out there, not only about the actors, but now the writers because apparently they aren't full filling the fantasy of a non-canon ship. I know, I know, not everybody is that negative, but that all I see now, is negativity. It's hard to swallow it all.

Some of the worst dialogue in the show has been between these two characters. And what is funny about an angel yet again not working out a phone. He plays the dumb blonde and even dumb blondes get old.

The wit has gone out of the show and we were left with dumb jokes of being to close. I don't think I've ever hear one funny moment come from Dean and Castiel that isn't put down to being obvious rather than clever like Dean was and he is with Sam and even Garth was funnier.

Actually so was the trickster and/or alot of other characters.

So no the best dialogue hasn't been them see 620 and 621 and 622 lol. OMG and even his first apperance. I thought they were joking when he went the whole 'perdition' route. That was embarrassing.

I suppose it can be put down to hating dumb persons humour. It was a little beneath this show especially when Dean was so funny himself.

I'm voting against this crap. Because thats not supporting the show in no way shape or form. And all of the other couples are together and/or have shown to be falling for each other at one time or another. So yea alot of it can be canon because they do care for each other romantically.

I understand. Trust me..I can see why it annoys some fans but I am confident that it will never be canon. It's fun for some fans to make pairings like that in fanfic but just because Destiel may win a poll doesn't increase it's chances of being canon. The Castiel and dean friendship is a great story with interesting dynamics IMO but I wouldn't be concerned about the writers evolving it into a romantic relationship. They poke fun at it like in PONR...but to me...that line about the way cas was looking at dean was just a poke at Cas's funny expressions. I think it's funny at least. Cas's return to the show and some fans voting Destiel in a poll just doesn't seem like a valid reason to get all worked up IMO. Dean isn't gay. The writers aren't gonna make him gay. Cas isn't coming back so that he and dean can get married. He's coming back to hopefully provide closure and a satisfying resolution to his Godstiel arc. Heaven forbid a character who is loved by a large chunk of the fandom gets a decent ending. Now I am getting off topic and I know not all will agree. My only point is that if some fans are fearing that this poll will upset/insult Jensen or make Destiel become canon is not rational. It's just a fun poll. If it annoys you, it's prolly best to ignore and save your energy because I can guarantee there will be similar things in the future. Calling Destiel fans delusional and voting against it may make some fans feel better but it won't make it go away.

I'm with the large chunk of the fandom who DID find Cas and Deans interactions funny. Not your cup of tea...fine. Still...I don't think he's coming back to fail at using a cell phone. The writers like it to delve into Dean's tiredness and depression, but I am so over it that it actually makes me only rolling my eyes....every time! I can't take it serious anymore, so for me the writers did Dean not a favor!

But to stay on topic, Rose, no worry, when Castiel comes back Dean will feel better because his BFF and brother/family comes back, despite his flesh and blood brother is with him for the whole time, silently suffering off screen!

I doubt Dean will look more manly with Castiel than now (to stay on the topic, ha ha)
