I know..it's really getting tiresome. I just joined up a few days ago and I am already thinking of leaving. The infighting is worse here than at the old cw, but at least they had mods there who would control it. This board just seems to be completely uncontrolled  |

One thing we don't want to be is the later incarnation of The CW Lounge. We've set this board up much as it originally ran on the original WB site, then for the first year at the CW Lounge under SuperModsSusieQ and Maxine, so you'll find a good bit more freedom here. That's not a bad thing.
I've been a member of this online community for 6 years now, and found that after a short while I could handle myself as a member in almost any circumstance on the boards. Humor helps a lot.
There are almost always mods & admins online you can contact if you need to, but we don't generally step in for every little thing. Anytime you've got a concern you can either report a post or PM any mod or admin you see online and we'll look into it. If it's warranted we'll do something about it.
What we cover here is entertainment: television, movies, books, you name it. Not life or death issues. If you're not having fun with it, you just might be doing it wrong. Go to the threads you enjoy and have fun there. If you're a shipper, stay out of the threads that aren't your ship's and you'll be a lot happier.

I'm kind of nicknaming it TWOP site number 2.... Considering that they will delete and mod basicly anything that looks like it might go off topic - I guess that tells more about what you do not know, than what you do. Aeryn made a new topic - and you made another complaint topic. The fact that we are not like the old boards means you have a lot more freedom to do as you please here. How you choose to expres that freedom is entirely up to yourself, which I admit does mean you are more responsible for what you put out there. Blaming that on mods - well that's one easy way to go about it.  We step in, when the rules are broken, and it is not without some sense of pride in our little team of volunteers I think we do it quite fast and evenhanded. |

Yes sounds like the TWOP rules. It was all sweetness and light until your start answering someone you don't agree with and suddenly you get banned.
The mods are untouchable, sound like anyone.
Rules aren't broken by your interpretation. You call people out for insighting but with threads like Aeyrn makes...thats not insighting??? Right. Its like the hate posts in TWOP on Sam and Jared and then you answer and your banned for insighting hate.
I've been on enough sites to know the difference.
It started off great here...but there is a reason why so many have left. j/s

Who of the members have been banned? To my knowledge nobody. We've had to do 1 IP ban, after someone registered several accounts and clearly only wanted to make some trolling. That wasn't any active actual member. We give a lot of freedom to post whatever you wish. You can disagree to your hearts desire. In fact I would love it if you could show one instance where a mod has said or done anything against a post simply because it disagrees - not counting threads that specifically state they aren't made to be debate threads, such as the skeptics thread. We do not go for only 1 type of fans or 1 "team" of fans. In fact we don't even use those terms. We have enough to do scanning everything we can for violations, because most of you gals are intelligent and know just how to keep it allowed. Thanks for the grey hairs!  It's not like we're artificially bumping any thread in here - except me bumping my birthday thread. Which reminds me it's in due time soon... The only thing that keeps certain threads topped is because people feel the need to respond. Nothing is stopping you from making your own new topics about how Cas is better off at the bottom of the lake or in a loonybin or something entirely non Cas related! Make a post about crocs running wild in the Sydney Opera house! I assure you I have pages of stuff to say about that! The only interpretation we do, is when it comes to personal insulting, or if the arguments had suddenly revolves around the members and not the topic. In which case we ask to take it back on track before doing any form of modding. Like I state in the above post, having more freedom to post, also means you have more responsibility to keep the mudslinging off the boards. By the way I'm sorry to say I am not sure what you mean with insighting, is it infighting you mean? Otherwise the word escapes me. It wouldn't be the first time I learned a new word online! Aeryn certainly makes topics and one could come to the conclusion it's to get some form of reaction. You have made a few of your own by the way, this one included and they haven't been taken down either - even though they are targeting a member and not anything at all in regards to SPN or the actors involved. There is a difference between making controversial or emotional posts, and actual hate posts. If you think it started off great and now has gone downhill, that's no good. I would personally hate to see you post less. But we're all tiny little parts in the big Evicted machine. And I vividly encourage you to do your part in getting the boards back the way you liked them then! If it means humor, envolvement and more Bela pictures than one can fathom, you can be sure I'm getting on that bandwagon! |

You can't have fun with her or some of the others. That is just not possible at all. And I can't discuss with myself so....hence my frustration that her threads and some of the more ..... people here are driving others away.
Like I said its a pity because I thought it was cool once upon a time. But either she keeps a Aeryn thought thread at that...or its gone past the 'she should be able to make as many threads as possible'. You look at the top 5 or so...if its not interesting you walk out and slam the door.

Now that would be one of the long lost details I never thoguht they'd "fix". Didn't they initially have him throw it out, partly because Jensen had it slamming up on his teeth during running and fight scenes? I like to hang out in a virtual world called Second Life where you can do or be anyone, and actually met some Ponygirls there. That was quite an experience. Hiyo Silver, away! You're right. My cats have a brain about the size of a walnut and they're way smarter than me. |
