Everything he says now is almost toxic and negative. Hard to believe he was someone I adored. I now am almost avoiding all things related to him when I see or hear his name mentioned. OMG! What did Seth do?😂 Actually it was NOT Seth! It was someone else. It was Michael J. Fox

Actually it was NOT Seth! It was someone else. I was just kidding. I knew it was not Seth. That is a laughing emoji. I do not want to know who you are mad at.

Yeah I knew you were kidding, that is why I put in spoiler format in case someone did want to know. I rarely ever get mad at Seth.

A correction to what I said about Roy (Chad). I had to get the remote because turning the TV on just gave me a "Searching for signal" error message and I have no idea what's causing that. There are two tuners and one is set on Roy's station and the other is on ABC.
The monitor fell when I was vacuuming and putting it back wasn't simple. The power cord was tangled around the cable that connects the monitor to the computer and the power cord is very difficult to plug back in. Usually it comes unplugged from the other end. And my mouse keeps falling off the table.
I didn't get my newspaper's TV section this week. I called last night and the automated voice gave me a credit but no option to get it delivered. I want to read the articles.
And I called my cafeteria about Thanksgiving. I was told I shouldn't have been told to call. I have to show up and take my chances. I told the woman I couldn't stand in line and she didn't give me any good options. I'm going inside anyway and asking someone what to do.
There's no reason for me to go to the library where I'm going on Wednesday. But I have to pay my power bill.
The Sears where I pay my credit card bill is closing. More importantly, if I want to buy anything from Sears that was the last one I can drive to. They owned the store so I assumed it would last as long as there was a Sears chain.

I saw Roy (Chad) both times this week.
Still no TV section unless it came today. But there's already a TV section in today's paper even if that one doesn't come. I haven't been able to get anyone to tell me how to read the articles. The TV sections in several newspapers I see at libraries (or saw, since I can see them online) have most of the articles online. I did hear someone thanking me for the suggestion but that doesn't help me. I'm sick of the canned messages that make me think something is being done but nothing ever actually gets done.
On top of that I didn't get a newspaper yesterday. They think it serves some purpose to deliver the Thanksgiving paper with all its ads one day early. It makes me wonder what news happened Wednesday that can't be in a a paper that was already printed. There was no news on the radio station I always listen to the day before Thanksgiving.
At least I was able to eat my lunch yesterday. The line was so long for takeout that I went inside. Of course it was a longer line because people were bunched together and I have to wonder if that was a good idea. I sat down but when the man who came in ahead of me got to where he could be served there was no good way to get there. The line was shorter at that point so I went ahead and stood in line.
I did like my sandwich on Wednesday. The woman who took my check wondered where I had been and said it must have been the virus. No, actually, I had not missed paying my power bill since the virus became a problem. But the office couldn't take those payments for several years.
My monitor and mouse fell again.
I forgot my virus scan but remembered it this morning when I got up and it finished in time.
I know I got up late but when I heard the chimes at the college I counted 12. That couldn't have been right! I finally realized maybe they forgot to change that clock when Daylight Savings Time ended. The only way to know for sure would be to walk at noon. I almost never do that any more. Or maybe I just lost count. I didn't bother to look at my watch or even the computer's clock, and apparently it was 10:00.

I caught my monitor before it fell. The problem is duct tape. I've never been able to remove it. Having the monitor plugged in to a second place doesn't do anything but keep it from coming unplugged.
I may have found an article online that appears in my newspaper's TV section. That doesn't really help because i have to know what articles to search for in order to find them.

Actually it was NOT Seth! It was someone else. It was Michael J. Fox I was watching "Card Sharks" which is a game show where you can win over half a million dollars. Most people win around $100,000. A man was asked what he would buy and said he wanted a DeLorean like the one from the second movie. Host Joel McHale said, "You know that doesn't actually work."

I'm so tired of my computer coming on during the night.
At least I remembered to do the virus scan rather than turning it off.
I saw Roy (Chad) both times.
Still haven't found a way to look at the TV section.
I was happy to read a letter to the editor in one of the newspapers I look at on the computer. The person said it was obvious the Thanksgiving paper had been printed without any effort to get any stories that took place during the day on Wednesday. And let me add that they left Tuesday's business news out of Wednesday's paper but did the bother to put it in Thursday's? No. And Wednesday's business news was not in Friday's paper. There are going to be a lot of angry people who don't use computers. Of course those people never see Saturday's paper.

I called the insurance company today to request a reduction in rates while my car sits idle for the next six months (same as it has for the previous six months). The solution is to keep paying $159 per month and call them when I take it out of storage. They will then give me a 70% discount.

My desktop computer was doing a Windows update and now it's not doing anything except for showing me the Lenovo logo. I've contacted a computer technician who is going to try getting it resolved today.
I tried calling the computer technical support and my warranty expired two years ago so I had to reach out to an independent tech using Thumbtack.

Warning, do NOT download the Windows update: KB4586781. It will destroy your harddrive on your computer!
That's the reason why my computer crashed. An online friend Shaun had a similar experience recently. He and I are planning on doing a livestream about this important topic on Wednesday at 5pm Eastern to warn others about this!

I am glad they did.

My computer never warned me about it but now I know better to check out about Windows updates before installing them My computer is still not fixed but fortunately my technician is a super nice guy that's he is getting a friend of his to help rebuild the harddrive for me so I don't lose anything on the computer. Fortunately I had a spare external harddrive with space on it so they'll use that to put my files and documents on it. Also he's not charging me anything additional for this. Hopefully tomorrow by 6 p.m. I should have my computer back and fully fixed again.

I have to buy new socks. It's just as well because I haven't found the kind I like in at least seven years. I don't think anyone would care, especially now. But so many times I put on socks for church and they have holes. Some are big holes. The rand name is Hole in None. Those aren't made nay more, according to someone at one store, and yet every year until 2014 I could go to a store in the mountains and I bought numerous pairs of them. I got what they had in 2014 because I forgot to pack any socks and had to change socks as soon as I bought them. Now that store is out of business and almost no one sells socks in a style I like. A few years ago I put a spare pair of shoes in the car just in case. And when just in case happened, no socks! I looked and found some socks so now I have those too along with the shoes, and that means I will never again end up in the mountains without socks. But I don't like these that much. I found a better style at Dollar Tree. Two pairs for a dollar! From now on, I need to put those in a place where those will be the only ones I wear to church. They look different from the others too.
I tried emailing the people in charge of my TV section and still nothing. I asked if I could get one from ANY market as long as it has the articles. Another question would be is what markets are covered, so maybe they can tell me what papers to contact, in case one of them has a way of getting to them online.
I got a propane delivery but when I tried to pay over the phone they were going to charge me. But it's all right now to go to the place and pay. I can't find the number to call to pay my credit card bill (I tried several numbers I thought it might be, and one had a woman who tried to sell me something before I could even explain who I wanted to call) but I'm going to Sears tomorrow and hoping for the best. KMart wouldn't let me pay when they were in the process of closing. Also, I need a new stove. One burner still works and I'm not paying for any new ones after the part that makes my oven hot cost almost as much to buy and have installed as a whole new stove would cost. If Sears will close soon, better to get it when I can.

Still no computer yet, it should be back tomorrow, it's not working like it should.
Also after nearly 48 hours I finally got our church sermon up on YouTube, that was a major headache.
Update: nope, no computer still, should be back tomorrow.

No update today?
I got a message to restart my computer for updates. I did that and then started the virus scan. It was not finished when I went to bed so I left the computer on all night. No problems with the virus scan or the update.
I saw both of Roy (Chad).
No stove at Sears if I was looking to save money. I did pay my credit card bill and I did find short sleeve shirts with pockets at Penney's. And I found long sleeve shirts that weren't exactly what I want but close enough. Maybe I'll buy the long sleeve shirts next time but I don't need any more short sleeve shirts.
I also got new socks.

There must be something bad that happened to me. I do know I intended to call the people about my TV section, but I'm not optimistic. Even if I got a list of newspapers that would have TV sections with those same articles, would I be able to find the missing one somewhere online?
Oh, I know! The Food Thread.

That's good to hear. You didn't lose what you were working on with the six hours of the radio station, did you? I have a comment about that elsewhere. I'm not sure, I'll check my computer to see if it's in my saved documents. I sure hope you didn't do a lot of work just to lose it. I found the fidget spinner from my old electric razor while cleaning up so someone can install an antenna. The one on the new electric razor is broken and the razor isn't behaving like it should. Every time I clean it, that makes things either better or worse. I couldn't get the remote to work and I couldn't get a signal on the TV where I watch Roy (Chad) on Wednesday. I changed the batteries and the new ones didn't work. But the old ones seemed to be loose. I put them back and it worked. And Roy (Chad) did have a couple of interruptions I couldn't do anything about without being able to move the antenna. Even when I do that, there's no guarantee. The new antenna wouldn't help with this because it needs to be pointed in the other direction. I was able to watch Roy (Chad) live on Monday but moving the antenna didn't prevent all the problems. Both of these I'll have to see online to see the rest. I remembered the virus scan last night and it finished fine with a six-digit number at the end. I forgot to say I paid my propane bill. I put a roll of paper towels on the holder that doesn't work very well and didn't hold on to it as I removed towels. It eventually worked. I also got a new roll for that same holder. My hands have been dry for several weeks now. Also see the Food Thread.

It's looking like the technician I hired did NOTHING, fortunately I'm filing a dispute and complaint.
My friend is keeping me updated on the situation, so far it looks like it's going to be recoverable just waiting on the last test to check on the sectors.

The fidget spinner didn't fit, so now there's NO fidget spinner and the parts that do the cutting are misbehaving even more. The good news is that after a year the parts are supposed to be replaced and they cost as much as a new shaver last time I checked. I can go back to the Target and get a new shaver.
I tried to watch "This Is Us" yesterday and the only way I could was to get NBC to let me have credits. I tried to sign in but I couldn't remember my password. And when I saw the directions for resetting it I realized why. The rules for passwords are too complicated. I was unable to get my password reset. I got them to send me an email but I got off the computer too soon and by the time I got the email, hours after I got on the computer today, the code had expired. I went to the web site and found an option where I could chat without waiting on the phone. I got another email and again, the code didn't work. I got a third email and this time it worked. And I got disconnected from the chat for reasons I don't quite understand. The web site thought I was already chatting and wanted me to discontinue one of the chats. I just knew it would be the one I wanted. Anyway, the password is saved on my computer now. The rules are because I would use it to pay my cable bill, but I don't do it that way anyway.
I didn't get my TV section of Friday. Or Sunday. I was going to call today and get them to mail it instead of delivering it with my newspaper. But it came today. I still want to find the articles that appeared in the one I missed.
I had a scare yesterday with my computer. The first thing I did yesterday when I turned on the computer was add to an email draft. The enter key wouldn't work. I thought I would need a new keyboard. But in every other situation the enter key worked. And when I saved the email draft and worked on it more, it worked.
And my hands are still dry.

Monitor fell along with the mouse.
Virus scan did fine.
I saw both Roys.
My hands are still dry.
I'm still stuck paying whatever Spectrum wants to charge for just the channels I could get with an antenna. I say could because I haven't had the opportunity to try. I was told several times someone could install an antenna. I declined to buy when told both times that if it didn't work, no one was going to come get it off my house but I'd have to do that myself to take it back. Now I'm told they won't even install it. people are giving up cable. How?
I'm not ready to give up Christmas music but there are online options after this weekend.

The parts of my electric shaver that do the cutting are bouncing around without the fidget spinner to hold them in place. I can't be sure they're doing a good job.
My mattress pad won't stay tucked in and I can't figure out what I did differently last year.
My hands are still dry but the weather is getting warmer and that will help.
I'm listening to online Christmas music, though that's what I was doing before. It's just a different site.

Computer froze once. I lost some stuff I had been working on and had to find it again. Virus scan did fine.
My hands are still dry but I got Vaseline and have concluded while Jergens makes mild soap, its lotion isn't that good.
I removed one of the cutting parts from the electric shaver that isn't as good and dropped it and couldn't find it. Then I found it ... and dropped it again and can't find it.
I haven't seen the second Roy (Chad) yet but he recorded. I did see the first one.
I went to the store that had the good paper towels and they were all gone.

I haven't been sleeping either.
And I didn't get around to shaving yesterday.
My hands are still dry but the warmer weather helped some.
I figured out how to solve my mattress pad problem. The opposite corner from the one with the problem has the pad pushed down really far since that's where I sleep. And it STILL came out after I fixed it.
