Why does my sister insist on pissing me off? She's far more delusional than i am.  If she would rather talk to my mom instead of buying her things for Mother's Day then by all means that would make me the better daughter.  I am not going to let her negativity ruin my life or take any shit that she that she gives.  I'm not going to change my mind about S and sooner or later she has to realize this. |

I can't wait to see what happens with the Simpsons since the series is wrapping up I lost last week's "Simpsons" episode as well as "The Cleveland Show". I didn't bother to check to see if any of the shows I taped would get deleted early (a clue is that they are labeled in yellow; an exclamation point requires some sort of immediate action). This past weekend, after I extended the time for one show I didn't have time to watch, I was told the two movies I planned to watch this weekend would not record. After I watched and delted the show, I went to those movies and added them back. I was warned the first one would be deleted at 2:00 on Saturday, the precise time it ended and the precise time the other movie started. One solution was to check the 2:00 movie to see if it aired any other time. TiVo lets me do that. There were two other options, one of which wouldn't have helped much. But I decided to manually fix the problem the next day. I did what I thought would extend the time--amazingly, I got no warning. And no movie. When I turned on the TiVo later, only the second movie was there. And as I started watching it I realized I had seen it! |

That sucks Kyle.  I have to go to Wal-Mart and spend even more $ that i don't have. Grrrr. I hate spending $ and would like to be able to save it for a change. Also, my oil still needs changed in my car, the window motor still needs fixed, and the engine issues still exist.  I hate being part of the working poor. |

I don't know how long I spent on the phone trying to get my Internet access back, but whatever the woman told me to do wrecked everything that I know how to do and she wouldn't bother to get anything back. All she cared about was my getting my Internet access back.
Yes, I'm grateful for that, although I didn't thank her because it's still a nightmare geting into my phone company's email and she didn't solve that problem either.
I have way more stuff to be upset about and I didn't need this too. Something similar happened on Monday when I was told to restart my computer because my virus software needed upgrading. Why did I EVER switch to phone company's software? It has been nothing but an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE from the very beginning. But I couldn't switch back because they made me delete the old antivirus software before downloading the new, which was a nightmare in and of itself.

And why am I in such a bad mood? I have been recovering for two weeks from three nights when I woke up in the middle of the night and was too restless to get back to sleep, partly because my allergy was giving me trouble breathing. I figure I have to replenish my supply of coping ability, though this happens when I sleep and I have been sleeping. I still get restless during the day because if I exercise, it's hard to just sit down and do nothing, even though typing at the computer and watching pages change seems like exercise. During the day I get so tired only sleeping would make me relax, but the problem of having trouble breathing even makes this hard at night. Last night during the storm it was a slightly different matter. It's sort of the same as why I don't fall asleep driving or soemthing like that. I don't have that problem, but the bad result of that is that I have to wait for night to get real releif even when I'm exhausted. And I'm in pain as well. I tried Tylenol Cold and cough syrup over the weekend but once that wore off I get nervous like last week, which I had blamed on regular allergy medicine. Yes, I felt good this morning, but my ability to handle frustration is still quite limited.

My only hope is that I can remember tomorrow when I am on a computer with sound to listen to Mike Huckabee there. And that his site has the broadcast that's about to start.

OMG, why are people so freaking nosy into my Facebook status when I said married and then calling up one of our pastors and asking when the big day is, sheesh give me a break people, let me have something for just me without you freaking out that i am getting married just because I put my status as "married" good grief!

I forgot to look at your Facebook page, but if you are going to call yourself "married", you really should be. Now I have numerous vents of my own. Earlier this week I got a message that I needed to restart my computer to update my antivirus software. I had numerous problems getting this particular software installed back in January. After I restarted the computer I couldn't get on the Internet, but I did what I thought was necessary. Wednesday it was a nightmare getting the Internet back and even when I did I had to fix my computer back to the way I wanted. Today I had a lot of trouble getting on the Internet again, but at least I finally got there on my own without calling anyone. Why am I here so early? The college library is closed for lunch. I could have gone there earlier but I didn't want to miss the music on the radio. The clock radio comes on for Mike Huckabee at 8:30 and stays on for two hours. But today at 10 there was a stupid baseball game. There was a stupid baseball game yesterday during the aternoon broadcast. At least online I found all the episodes I missed due to the buzzing. I got banned from a site like this. The offense? Having more than one name. I did that before I knew it was wrong, but the man in charge didn't do anything that time because I had a good record and didn't understand the rule. It's not at all clear even if you look at the rules. I had been on the site for six years and never did anything to get banned or warned for. Edited, yes. I once had the nerve to ask where we talk about one particular topic because it wasn't clear from the board names. So that got erased because apparetnly it was a stupid question. Several other posts got deleted with justification, I suppose. The man in charge gave no indication the ban was temporary and gave me a mailing address. I woke up too early this morning and couldn't get back to sleep, though I was so out of commission I couldn't just get up and start my day. I did wash clothes early. I found a big bug in one cup I was washing and then couldn't figure out which cup it was to give it some extra cleaning. Furthermore, my dishwashing liquid went away and I had to keep adding it. This didn't happen with the non-stick version of the so-called soap pads. The Brillo I was using was old, so it wasn't that its soap was reacting. |

Last week I mentioned losing a movie because TiVo needed space to record yet another movie, one that I had seen, even after I thought I had extend the first movie's time. There were no upcoming showings listed. Yesterday I remembered that I forgot to check the 1:00 movie that aired in the middle of the night. You guessed it. And no upcoming showings. But the movie I watched instead was very funny. |

I'm also still banned from this one site.
Even from viewing. I once found out that happened on the CW site. I was once banned from the WB site but I think I could see and not post. The CW ban was apparently because I was pretending to be George W. Bush, but anyone in his right mind would know I wasn't serious. Even he wasn't as dumb as I made him look.
I don't know if this is progress, but a couple of people who post on the site I'm banned from are members of a Yahoo group, and one gave me an email address of someone I wanted to continue to communicate with, and that person know a staff member and persuaded that person to look into my situation. I also sent snail mail to the address the person in charge gave me, giving no indication the ban was temporary or had a chance of being lifted.

I wasted a total of two hours with my phone company yesterday trying to get whatever problem fixed that I was having with getting on the Internet.
It's not worth this! I can unplug my modem and plug it back in EVERY SINGLE TIME I turn on my computer. Or whatever it is I did yesterday which accomplished the same thing. But when I was given the number I would have to call if I got disconnected, it was a 900 number. Fortunately, I was sent to American Airlines. So I restarted the process. I argued with this man for the longest time trying to get some sort of result, because I was promised McAfee would fix whatever was causing me not to be able to get on the Internet easily. No one told me I would get charged for it, and I'm not paying because THEY DID THIS. THEY NEED TO FIX IT. FREE!!!!
DO NOT USE MCAFEE!!!!
I should have stuck with Norton, and would have if I had known it would be like this.
And still nothing is fixed.

Considering I go to libraries a lot and use my home computer for a limited number of trusted sites, that should be enough. I did remember Norton had free online chat but charged for telephone tech support. I decided to see if McAfee did the same thing. They did. The person couldn't solve my problem today but will call be back Thursday. I plan to go somewhere tomorrow. Whoever could do the job wasn't going to be there today. Why the phone company person didn't just tell me I could use live online chat I don't understand. |
