And my computer froze again. It always happens when I am typing in a box.
Also, I've been miserable for the past three mornings. Guess why.

I saw Roy (Chad) but only because I remembered to watch the recordings. I forgot to watch as it happened. Speaking of the TV station that airs the feature, go to the Weather thread.
I can't recall whether the computer froze but it keeps coming on at night and, since it was on yesterday morning, I started the virus scan. With not much time left it was only at 42 percent so I was going to pause it, but somehow it finished by the time I got on the computer with a 6-digit number.
Mouse peeked out several times, saw me, went back in. Finally got the courage to just go where it needed to. As I was in the room where I watch TV, it came in, saw me, and left, then finally started coming in and going under the desk, coming on, and coming back. It got close to the glue trap but every time I would move it went back. I caught it in my cracker box. I could have trapped it and lost my crackers but it left. I moved the glue trap to where the mouse kept going and now it's gone and I haven't seen the mouse since then.
I cancelled the refrigerator repair. So far, so good.

Still no indoor church services until maybe Easter if cases continue to drop so I am having to compress the video files for the sermons before I upload it and the compressing software I use takes a very long time to complete. It still means having to upload it afterwards and that also takes awhile to do as well. Not an easy task.

I caught the mouse! The glue trap had moved only a few inches and I just couldn't see it but I sure could smell it. When I investigated, there it was. The mouse is now ready to be picked up on Thursday.
I went inside the church for the first time in a year. I had to write a note to give the pastor for an announcement. The normal procedure is to text or email but I haven't figured out how to email him although I've tried several times and my cell phone makes calls.
I was unable to close the refrigerator on two occasions over the weekend but somehow got it to close and stay closed, although sometimes I could see the light inside and needed to give it an extra push.
Computer froze twice causing me to lose a lot. I had even typed what I wanted to type in a place where I could save it just in case but got through that and moved it to where it would go eventually, then the computer froze. I went back to where I had saved it in the first place thinking I hadn't, but I had. No such luck today.
Also, new windows look weird and I'm trying to figure out how to make them normal again. Also see the Food Thread.

I found the solution to the new windows problem. It was so simple. It annoyed me when I moved the mouse (not that one) to the left side of the screen and whatever was there expanded. I looked to see what it said do. I could click to get rid of vertical tabs. All of a sudden everything looked normal again.
The refrigerator is staying closed even though the rubber part is on the outside on the side where the hinges are. Whatever works. But now the milk freezes. I don't know why.
Computer keeps coming on at night. A couple of times I just turned it off. One of those times I had pressed the sleep button three times and every time it came back on. It does this late when I'm ready for bed. It won't turn itself off and there are no options to make this happen because the computer has to stay on for the virus scan. Speaking of which, I just took advantage and did the virus scans one of the times the computer was on.
I saw both Roys.

My computer froze today but I didn't lose much. I figured out how to save part of what I was working on. Still, I have to keep turning it off at night because it comes on by itself if I just press sleep. If I have to turn it on after turning it off, I have to remember to do it ahead of time so all the extra stuff can be done before I need to use it, but even then I have to hope I'll get a restore button so I can go back to what I was doing.
The refrigerator is a challenge to keep closed and I had to take the milk out of the refrigerator to be able to drink it. Even now, there's ice in it.
A week after the mouse got caught I was still smelling something. I checked the second place I saw the mouse and found a mouse in another trap. And so i put it in the trash.
Limbs were picked up but on Saturday afternoon I needed them picked up again. I'll just put the new ones in the same place and wait for the next time.
No one has picked up my mower. Some things have to be done to it regardless of whether I start using it now, and I won't have it while it's having stuff done to it. But my grass is getting too high. I'll try again tomorrow to get someone to pick it up.

Computer froze at least once this week. I didn't lose anything but it was inconvenient. It always takes so long to get back to being able to do anything.
Computer keeps coming on in the middle of the night but one night I think I succeeded in not having it on at night. I did the virus scan one time when it was already on and I wasn't ready to get on, and six digits.
Roy was pre-empted by NASCAR, unless like the one on Wednesday it's also on in the morning. Wednesday I forgot but the recording worked.
The refrigerator closes if I make the effort each time. I had to take the milk out of the refrigerator again. The new milk got in the bag but it wasn't a leak. The top was loose. I had to change my appointment time at a library next week because milk is 60 cents cheaper in the town where the library is AND I need two this week. I won't make it to Thursday at the rate I'm going.
I stopped to ask about getting the mower picked up and even though the man who goes to my church who runs the place promised, it was the girl who said I had to talk to her. It was picked up yesterday. I got several extra chances to mow some areas, but others will just look bad until whenever I get it back.

Part of our electricity was out for almost 21 hours, because of this we had to order out food instead of cooking yesterday and each time I order from DoorDash something is missing, first it was my sodas the previous two times and yesterday they forgot my cole slaw. Seriously?! Fortunately DoorDash gives me credits and refunds me my money but still it's messed up that each time I order something is missing!

My computer froze twice today but when I was doing what normally makes it freeze it did not.
My mattress pad keeps pulling out again and when i tried to pull it from the other end I pulled out another corner. At least that one is close to being able to be tucked back in.
I saw Roy (Chad) today.

Amazingly, I remembered to watch Roy (Chad) at the exact right time on Wednesday.
I already did the virus scan but my computer decided to stay on all night. The computer also froze at least once this week, and I believe it froze last night when I waited to turn it off thinking pressing the sleep button at that time would keep it from coming on at night. It didn't work to press the sleep button or the off button so I had to unplug it.
I'm fed up with the mattress pad. I may need to pull it from the other end but now two corners are out and even the one that was staying won't stay.
My hands haven't been as dry with the warmer weather.
I did get two milks at the cheaper price but now the TV section I see at the library I went to Tuesday is blocked. Had I waited until Thursday I would have had other options. They can let me have a library card which will allow me to use the Internet. I never was able to do that before which is why I went to the two-year college. Or maybe I could have but the college let me stay on longer. These days I'm willing to get on the computer at home.
Mower is back today. They had promised it by yesterday but that didn't happen.
I thought I had found the ideal paper towels. Scott brand, one per package, square. Now that I've opened them they're not as sturdy as what I've been using and can't find. Actually, they haven't torn but probably won't be up to the challenge tomorrow.
I bought a shirt that looked like one I had except with more stripes. Except it didn't have more stripes. I was hanging up another shirt and realized it was the same as the one I just bought.

Computer came on in the middle of the night. I just went ahead and did the virus scan and it did fine. It used to be something for the end of the week but there's no reason not to do it now.
More mowing to be done and I'm out of gas.
I don't think the computer has frozen lately.

I have to drive somewhere tomorrow during a radio show I like. But Prince Philip's funeral is on.
Worse yet, even though the show is repeated on Sunday, that's during church. And church used to be later before the virus. Early services were a good idea when it would be hot, but the later the better if we're outside in our cars. And yet the time wasn't moved back to normal.
So I have to listen to the show online.

This morning a light was blinking mon my modem that wasn't supposed to be. And a light that was supposed to be on was not. I was afraid the modem might be going bad because I was reading that happened to someone. The simple solution is to unplug the modem and plug it back in. No problems since ... well, the computer was being very uncooperative at one point. I was told to restart and I don't know whether it did. It came on and when I was going to push the sleep button I saw I had to sign in. I went back to where I was. I don't know what that means but I haven't been told to restart today. I did have to close some sites that were causing trouble. For example, a local newspaper won't allow me to use an ad blocker, so naturally in the lower left corner it says it's waiting for something with Google in the name.
I'm not out of gas. I've got more. I'll go next week to fill the can. This week I had symptoms that made me think I shouldn't be around other people.
I checked this morning and I did get the TV section with my paper. I haven't missed one in two months. I did think I had gotten a bill and when I asked them to reduce what I owed rather than actually open it and see what was there, I was told I had paid on February 8. So I opened the letter and it was advice about how to get the most out of my subscription.
When I get a call from someone who says "I am not a telemarketer" (that's all I could hear from where I was) it can't be good.
I saw both Roys (Chad).
Milk keeps getting ice in it.

We're still having issues with our mail which is very frustrating.
Also our neighbors in this building had their music blasting for an hour which was ridiculous and I ended up with a terrible headache because of it.

My computer froze once over the weekend but not when it usually does, and it hasn't been staying on all night. I forgot to mention my virus scan and I need to remember to do that sometime.
I did have to unplug my modem again so I may have to make sure it's all right. I pay my phone bill this week (and I go to the dentist) but don't know how much the people at the office can tell me.
I went to the post office and got a bill for the TV section with my newspaper. Of course I will renew it.
My credit card bill says my cable has actually gone down. I hope that's permanent. They would have had to do this if I got an antenna and it worked. So far I still haven't found out how.
My mower ran out of gas but i just cleaned it and filled it up--well, emptied the can. I was too tired to mow any more.
I listened to the telephone message that was "not a telemarketer". Now Jehovah's Witnesses are calling.

I ordered some groceries which were delivered but part of them got broken and the delivery person left the mess behind which was dangerous since it was broken glass and the liquid from the iced tea fortunately I got it cleaned up but it wasn't right that the delivery person didn't even make an attempt to do something to clean it up. That was not good so I filed an anonymous report against them because of this!

I hadn't had problems with the virus scan until this week. I started it and without my doing anything the computer went to sleep. When I turned it back on the scan was at 11 percent and still running. I paused the scan but everything ran slowly for the rest of the day. Then I got a message saying the scan had finished with no problems.
I tried a new dentist because my insurance covers cleanings. Big mistake. They tried to do X-rays and couldn't and then they tried to take my blood pressure but that hurt too much. The dentist said if I couldn't do what she wanted she couldn't do her job and I couldn't be her patient. I'm going back to my old dentist. At least he has the right attitude. He replaced another man who didn't like it that I couldn't let them do X-rays but he was willing to wait. I had X-rays done soon after that at the oral surgeon who took out my wisdom teeth. It didn't involve putting anything in my mouth, and right now that would be a better way to do it.
My milk froze and I took it out to let it melt. It wasn't much but i left t out too long and I didn't like how it smelled.

I saw Roy (Chad) twice last week.
At a grocery store I was asked if I wanted paper or plastic. What a relief. And then after I answered, he put my stuff in plastic anyway and I had to tell him not to.
The computer didn't freeze but it was doing everything very, very slowly and I almost had to turn it off. And then I did what might as well have been the same thing. I was told to end the process. I did and got a chance to click to restore what I was doing. At one point, the Internet quit working again and I did the same thing. And of course, the Internet never comes back instantly. I have to wait and wait and wait.
I haven't seen the mouse in about a week but I did see one. I put out a trap but the trap is a mess so it got out.

We had some issues with our mail, it was so bad we had to file some reports because the mail was so crammed into the slot we couldn't get it out! Fortunately our regular carrier returned today and was able to get it out but whenever he isn't there we have hiccups with our mail and it wasn't just us either, at least one other person in our complex was as well.

I saw Roy (Chad) twice.
I solved last week's virus scan problem so when I get through today I can finish the scan. It seems my computer was set to turn itself off after 30 minutes. Which is why it was turning itself off when it came on, but I can't do a scan unless it stays on.
I did have the computer freeze once.
TV section came this week. I still have to remember to renew the subscription.

Too many mosquitos. There was one in each side of the kitchen sink, one in the dishwater, one in the Brillo pad.
I never found out if the virus scan completed but I know what to do now. I saw that the app needed to close for an update but that doesn't restart the computer. And the computer did come on once in the middle of the night. It froze once yesterday and the monitor got unplugged today. Which requires turning the computer off because everything is too big and it's harder to get everything on the screen when that happens.

I think my computer froze once this week. I did remember the virus scan and that worked. 6 digits in the number.
My mattress pad is really getting on my nerves. I know it's falling apart. And it wasn't supposed to be the only thing covering the mattress, but I can't make the luxury mattress pad stay in place. In fact, I can't even see it. I don't know where it is. Once I remove the old foundation, if I can, then I can wash both of them, put them back, and hope for the best. Even if I can't remove the old foundation, once I can remove everything from the bed I get to wash it and start over.
I saw both Roys (Chad) except there was some interference and I lost a few seconds.
I can't get a dentist appointment before October and it has been a year already. I have to go to another county to find someone who will take my insurance, and it's expensive if I don't.

I can't recall any computer problems this past weekend.
Also, my mattress pad seems to be staying in place.
I paid my power bill, which wasn't much, but I plan to go where I usually pay it next week. Just to make sure I wouldn't forget, I called, and it took four tries to pay. One time last night it told me I had to wait until they were open. Now I know why. It wouldn't tell me to press a button. It wouldn't tell me to do anything. But when I realized what it wanted, I could pay without waiting. I had waited anyway but when I got the number on my check wrong, it sent me to a person. I decided I didn't want to wait, and I realized what number it wanted. But I somehow messed up and when the voice couldn't understand me it sent me back to a person. Finally I got it right and finally it asked me to confirm by pressing a button.
When I pay next week I'll once again be way ahead. If not for the pandemic I would have gone in March. I had an appointment at one of the libraries the week I would have gone, and didn't need to go to the town where I pay anyway since I can see those newspapers on the computer.

I had a light bulb burn out and had to change it. And this is one for which the cover is large and has an extra part to put on. I decided against putting that part on if it's not necessary to support the cover and hopefully it won't be. We had to buy a new one when I dropped a very fragile old cover changing a light bulb in the same place.
I was worried my clock radio wasn't working. The station was just off the air, but I was more than 30 minutes late getting up. This isn't serious because when my wash finishes, I don't hear it happen and so I don't get out of bed until ... well, there's something I need to do nearly every time I get up so I'll get that over with. I will say one time this week that was definitely not a problem.
I had three chances to go to the dentist this week. If I had just been paying attention to the message I couldn't hear, I would have known in time and would have gotten an appointment. Yesterday I could have gone if I had been willing to drive to the same place a second time in the same week.
I saw both Roys (Chad) but it was a challenge. It was fortunate the same story airs twice. I got the part I missed from the first recording.
I remembered the virus scan. I didn't get a good look at how many files before it switched to something else and I couldn't go back. Now I have to remember to let the computer restart tonight.
I paid for my TV section (which came) but it required sitting and waiting on hold.
