I wasn't out of bread. I found another loaf I already had. I'll open it tomorrow.
Bread was on sale where I get points. I went to two different stores and got the sale price both places. The bread is still on sale next Tuesday and I don't want to be at the library on Halloween, so ...

I bought the bread on sale. No Ritz whole grain crackers even though other Ritz were on sale. The next day I found whole grain but no sale. But I was told I could do something about that. I'll try next time.
Still haven't finished my pumpkin spice cookies which I got when it wasn't even that time of year.

How did it get this late? I made a real effort to get things done quickly.
I didn't have to get the Ritz on sale based on what happened in October. They were already on sale.
I also got Christmas cookies. Fruitcake was on sale but I might get a better deal. At least I hope so.
I opened a package of cookies that had a hole which were near where I heard the mouse. They were broken and out of place even on the other end, so throwing them out even if they didn't happen to be stale was the right thing to do.

I found more Club Crackers! And Town House, even if they were stale. It was because I got out the oatmeal cookies I'll be eating on weekends now that the pumpkin spice ones are gone.
I nearly burned my sloppy tom. That's hard to clean up. I also didn't clean a pot from last Tuesday. At least I noticed this before today.
I have so much stuff in my freezer the door wouldn't quite close. That may have helped ice melt. There's a lot of ice in there. There shouldn't be.

I bought peanut butter without opening it first. This week I couldn't open it, so I didn't buy.
I found fruitcake on sale.
And I dropped orange juice getting it out of the car and had to use an empty bottle when the other broke, At least one was ready to throw out. I put out my recycling but some didn't get in the truck.

I found three more pumpkin spice cookies! That's two more weekends after yesterday.
I bought a different kind of bread which was on sale. I had missed out on the chance to try it the last time it was on sale. I just hope it is still good because I have three more loaves of my regular bread.
Those Club Crackers I found were stale. Oh, well. I'll eat them.

And I bought two more loaves of my usual bread. I'm eating the Dave's Bread first because it's not as likely to last.
And one pumpkin spice cookie left.

I thought I had six loaves of my usual bread left. Turns out it's eight. I'll have to eat the two additional loaves before I finish the Dave's Bread.
I ate too much this week. Turkey, dressing, and macaroni and cheese at the cafeteria Wednesday, along with slaw and two kinds of bread. Then the same yesterday except for the slaw, and I ate dessert. Too much dessert.

I opened one of the loaves of my regular bread. So far, so good.
The mouse seemed to have gotten in one of my cookie packages before I got it out of the way, but I ate the cookies that were in the part of the package away from where the mouse got in. Or rather, I put them in the jar. I've eaten some of them.

The last slices of bread in one loaf had some green on them.
I opened the next loaf and I'm not sure yet.
I get milk for lunch at a grocery store now but the one I went to Wednesday had only quarts. Though they were the same price as pints. I just had to drink a quart all at once.
No turkey burgers at the hospital yesterday. Only veggie burgers. No more of those.

I keep forgetting to say I finished the pumpkin spice cookies and started on oatmeal cookies (actually a store brand version of Little Debbie). They taste the same.
No problems so far with bread.

I haven't eaten any fruitcake yet or Christmas cookies. I didn't find the red and green bells and stars again this year.

I lost my nuts. The only thing I can come up with is that I left them in the bag I used for recycling, and I realized this the day after the recycling was picked up.
I bought more nuts.
A brand new box of Club Crackers. It has been months. I put them where they got stale and forgot about them.

And another loaf of bread open.
I found a box of cheese crackers I had forgotten about. Stale, but I can eat them. I wanted the brand new fresh ones.

I found a bag that still had something in it. It was an apple juice bottle and squashed hamburger buns were under it. I thought I had bought those! They don't quite taste right and I had to remove some dark areas but no ill effects. Six more to go if I can eat the rest.

Still four loaves of bread left. I think.
Four hamburger buns but there's a lot of green and gray on them. I may not be able to rescue them.
More Club Crackers that are stale.

Forgot to list this on the Vent Thread.
Four loaves of bread left and four slices will go to replace four hamburger buns that were beyond help. There has been the most unspeakable smell in the kitchen because I don't throw those out until tomorrow.
Something else doesn't smell right when I turn on the oven. I thought maybe that's what it was. At one point I thought something had died and I was hoping it was the mouse.

Three loaves of bread left.
I found some cookies in a place where I thought I heard the mouse, but they're intact. I moved them.
There is an unspeakable smell in the kitchen but I got rid of the bread that had gotten lost.

Found the smell!
I bought two more loaves just in case after I discovered one of the three loaves had slices turning black and orange. Another loaf has some green. I ddn't have to throw out that many slices, though.

I thought I had two packages of Fudge Stripes cookies that were completely covered in fudge. While searching for the second one, which I haven't found, I did find a whole bag of cookies I had forgotten I had. And one of the packages was empty. If you know what I mean.

I was getting a package of cookies to open and the plastic was broken. And one cookie appeared to have been nibbled on.; Most of the rest of the cookies looked fine.
I opened the wrong milk last week but fortunately I figured it out in time when I noticed the sell by dates.

I hate that I can't find these crackers any more. And I had some left but had forgotten. The mouse had not.

Premium crackers were buy one get one free at the store where I get gas points but I wanted the whole wheat kind. I won't be going to the store that has those for two weeks.
I found a jar of peanut butter at the store that has the jars that are large but not too large. I've gotten several at the store where I get gas points but I always have to make sure they are easy to open first.
Turkey burgers were not on sale but I had to have them.

I remember now what I was going to post. I opened a can of chicken noodle soup and it was vegetable beef. Harder to clean. I eat it when the weather is cold, which it wasn't.

At the hospital in my county I was not allowed to go in, and minutes earlier the announcement was made: no eating in restaurants in NC. A security guard went and got me my usual from the cafeteria. Wasn't that nice? I'll figure something else out next week. If there is a next week.
My usual restaurant on Wednesday let me order and take it with me. I wasn't going to any fast food drive-through lanes the day before. If I can, I'll go back to the same restaurant next week because I imagine the hospital doesn't want me to eat there. Bread turned moldy but I could still eat most of each slice. Two more loaves and then I've got to get more. I got milk earlier this week just in case. I'm running short on flavored water if I can't go out for a long period.

I hurt my thumb opening jelly beans. Why are they so hard to open?
And why are there black ones? I ate those first to get rid of them.

I found another black jelly bean and several white ones. The black look like purple and the white look like yellow.
I just have two more colors and that's the last of them.
I just opened the first of two loaves of my regular bread (12-grain) but I haven't seen any of that bread in the store I usually go to since March. I don't even remember which store had it. But I need to go to a different store for my soap. Maybe when I do that I can find my usual bread. Meanwhile, I got 15-grain bread. I don't know if I've ever had this type but the 12-grain is the best tasting.

I just opened the last of my 12-grain loaves but don't know where the 15-grain bread is.
I couldn't find but two cans of chicken noodle soup the last time it was on sale. I got creamy chicken and dumplings which has made a big mess. And I've got to eat one more can of the stuff. I even got in all over the paper towel where I was going to eat supper.
They've never had egg salad again at the restaurant where I've been getting lunch sometimes. I got a breakfast egg sandwich every time after the first visit.
I finally ran out of swiss cheese. One store was out of American a few weeks ago.
