I ate an egg salad sandwich yesterday. I should have waited to do that when I was getting ice cream too. I felt lousy later in the day when I hadn't drunk much.
I don't know why it is, but on any day when I don't eat meat, I don't feel like I ate enough.

It sure makes a difference not to eat a big lunch at the church.
And I didn't wake up that early this morning. In fact, until I got up, it was as if I had already started eating that regular whole wheat bread I found on sale. It was cheaper than the extra fiber kind, which was also still on sale.
I still haven't finished the Cheese Bits in the orange boxes. I may be out of those boxes, but here's why that's important. They sell them in red boxes now. So the orange boxes I found are really, really old. But the crackers are not stale. It must be aged cheese, and it's only aging more.

I'm tired of cleaning up canned pasta with tomato sauce. But I have so many cans of it. I hate having to use a can opener on SpaghettiAtoZ's, but for some reason they don't want to have a pull top.

Going to the hospital yesterday was frustrating. I didn't get milk ahead of time, although getting it at the hospital would have been no problem. However, I didn't bring money, which I would have if I had known what was going to happen.
My reasoning was thaty I had someplace I needed to go before eating and didn't want to carry my milk in there. Of course, I simply believed I could just go to the hospital. This was wrong, as the cafeteria, which had nothing wrong with it, was STILL closed for remodeling. This time they didn't even have turkey burgers. They had sandwiches that were wrapped up, but who wants those? And they wouldn't have had lettuce and tomato. I'm trying to eat healthy.
Actually, the wrapped sandwich did have lettuce and tomato and semed to be on some kind of whole grain bread. It was a little expensive and didn't taste that good but it was okay.

I am invited to a big supper at a church I used to go to.
The man who was going to pick me up can't come. His wife has been in the hospital. He was pastor of that church from 1953 to 1957. Yes, it was one of his first churches. He had three at the time and two of them alternate this annual supper.
The people taking me to the mountains can probably give me a ride. That's what happened last year. The man showed up but it was raining and the other person was there.

The woman who drove me to the mountains picked me up where I ate lunch. 20 years after the restaurant changed owners, the hot dogs are still almost as good. At least the chili hasn't changed. I remember the slaw being better but it's still pretty good.
Where I ate breakfast one pancake was enough. It's a good thing because just the one was $2.99. I paid over $4 for two last year and, honestly, I don't need to eat two. The chocolate milk I got from the convenience store was delicious.
In an hour I need to be back in my room to be picked up to go to my former church.

I can't believe I didn't post here after the supper.
Too much dessert! I had to resist the urge to eat some of what looked so good because it makes me feel lousy later if I eat everything.
At the restaurant where I eat breakfast, one waitress still remembers what I want. She wasn't mine but I saw her. The one who was my waitress knew exactly what to bring me after apparently talking with the one who knew me. I will say that at least one morning the pancakes came fast but weren't warm. That's okay. Fast is good.
The veggie burger at Burger King is good but wow, I felt lousy later and woke up too early.

I have two loaves of bread, both new, and one already has mold. I shouldn't have bought the second loaf knowing I would be out of town most of last week.

Grilled cheese with Spam and a hash brown patty in the middle...awesome. Now I want ice cream.

I'll have ice cream next week. I hope. It's cheaper at the drug store where I might be going than at the place I passed nearly an hour before it opened.

No green vegetables yesterday for the first time in two weeks.
I have some bread that is turning green but hopefully I can eat the rest of it before it gets to the point where there isn't anything that isn't green. It helped that I didn't buy hamburger buns and used sliced bread for Sloppy Toms.
(Those are Sloppy Joes made with turkey burgers.)

Finally, butter pecan ice cream.
But it's not as good at the drugstore where it's cheaper.

I finished up the bread that was turning green.
I only lost one slice where there wasn't enough left that wasn't green.
Now I have a whole other loaf that I bought before going to the mountains and I hope it survives.

So far, so good. I used the bread instead of hamburger buns for my Sloppy Toms and only have one slice left after tonight.
Gorton's has decided that it is necessary to use a bag, not a box, to put fish sticks in other than the box of 18, which isn't enough to make it cost-effective. So I've been buying another type of their fish.
And when I took it out of the oven, two of the three pieces fell. One I haven't found. It slipped between the door and the base of the oven, but that would mean it went to the floor under the oven. Right?
I just hope I don't start smelling fish.

You'll only smell fish if you stand next to Lisa. Anyway, I've become hooked on sandwiches with bacon, egg, cheese, lettuce, Miracle Whip, and a hashbrown. OH MY GOD, it tastes awesome!!!

I still haven't found the fish, but I dropped biscuits this time. I need to start holding those metal pans with both hands. At the barber, "America Now" was on and they evaluated the Ove-Glove. I just use paper towels.
The cafeteria at the hospital is open again. I didn't see much change. I would link to the newspaper article, but it gives away too much information about me. And I was going to suggest Facebook for those of you who can see my page, but I forgot to check the box. The reporter messed up her article on what a fabulous place this hospital cafeteria is--what she said was a couple of years late. The changes this time around were minor.

I'm jealous. If I was six inches taller, I could eat that combination. I don't want to ruin my hourglass figure.

For a couple days during this heat wave, my food tasted vinegary. I checked and I had not added vinegar by mistake. I finally tossed the food and ordered delivery – just spaghetti with meat sauce. When it arrived, I thought they had delivered lasagna by mistake. Have you ever seen spaghetti with this much cheese? There was spaghetti under the cheese. I was hungry and I like cheese, so I enjoyed it.

Oh, I would have loved that! My Aunt makes a wonderful baked spaghetti dish and uses Angel Hair pasta... she brought one over once. It was so good. I wish my dad would use angel hair... it's the best in my opinion. The other day, I had the pleasure of having one of my favorite homemade dishes. My grandmother made some potato stew. It's always good. The great thing about living with my grandmother, I get more homemade meals. I need to remember to get all my grandmother's recipes before I finally move out.

Yesterday I used the oven for the first time since I dropped fish in it. After it warmed up, I opened it and smoke was pouring out. Okay, I could have done a better job of cleaning up but it shouldn't have been that much.
I still haven't located the third piece of fish. This fish doesn't taste nearly as good as the fish sticks and earlier this week I realized that as long as I had extra time, the store that sells them is nearby. So I got a box.
I had two more pieces of fish but haven't figured out just how to time it.
Meanwhile, I ate another can of SpaghettiAtoZs and I'm really getting tired of the mess and the cleanup, not to mention having to use the can opener. No more! I don't even like it that much.

I ate a Neapolitan ice cream sandwich yesterday. I was looking for one with chocolate ice cream only, but this was satisfactory. The ice cream goes between two rectangular chocolate cookies.
When I was in elementary school, we were able to buy snakcs in the afternoon. Most people got popsicles but I always got an ice cream sandwich.

I loved the Neapolitan ice cream sandwiches and the ice cream trucks made them available along with popsicles. I prefer the ice cream sandwiches also. When the smoke poured from the oven, I wonder if it smelled like burnt fish.

Beef bologna on white bread is awesome. Not that crappy wheat bread with fucking seeds in it...plain white bread is the ticket here. With Miracle Whip, lettuce, tomato, and cheese. Oh, and Lay's potato chips.

I'm trying to eat healthier, so I just accept the seeds in the bread.
I'm far from eating "healthy" since I still eat fish squares, and fish triangles, and fish sticks.

I'm eating very sweet cherries for dinner because it's too late to prepare anything. Maybe I'll have peanut butter on crackers for dessert. I need a personal chef.

I had the hardest time finding more apple juice. I thought I had numerous bottles of it.
In the process of searching I found one more package of Oreos. I thought I had four of them that were two years old. I'll open them up next. The others still tasted good.
