I called the company and told them I didn't like the product. They're sending me a coupon. I can buy more fish with that. I was out of fish after I finished it anyway. I ate chicken nuggets today, which I have plenty of. I'm also out of tuna.

I got the most expensive product I could with the coupon. It was a healthier tilapia product and tastes really good. It just costs more than fish sticks, which are surely not healthy. I would have gotten fish sticks but the only size large enough is in a bag and I refuse to buy a bag.
Buying 18 at a time is pointless, especially when I had a coupon that would let me buy many more.

Mrs. Paul's were on sale. I got two boxes.
For reasons detailed on the Vent Thread, I got two more.
I have enough fish sticks to last a year.

I may not be eating fish sticks for a while. I had the last of the tilapia today, but it wasn't very good.
I don't like microwaves. Maybe other people aren't scared of the things because they've always been around, but I never had one until we moved where I live now. My father used one and I think it must be the one that was given to my grandparents who wouldn't have gotten one on their own. Then my grandmother moved to a nursing home after my grandfather died. So I think my father must have taken the microwave.
I had to replace my stove a few years ago because mice were getting into it and climbing through the burner. That may not have been serious but getting a new stove was a solution. While I was warming canned biscuits yesterday I heard a crash. After that, the oven wouldn't come on. I figured out that the part that turns orange broke apart. I'll find out about getting it fixed after I get back from the beach. For now, I'm warming fish and biscuits on the top burners. Not a satisfactory way to do it at all. And I should have put water in the frying pan that I put the pie pan on top of. The kitchen filled with smoke and the bottom of each biscuit was burned. And the plate I put on top still has burn marks.
Today I put the tilapia in water. I burned the bottom and the rest of it didn't get done enough to taste good. I did the biscuits the same way as yesterday but with water under the pie pan. They never really got done.

I thought I'd have to replace my nonstick pot but I got it clean with some effort.
I put the biscuits on top after putting the soup in the bowl, but it needed more water for me to continue using the pot. The result looked and smelled more like beef soup than chicken soup.

Okay, I'll go by the store where I bought the oven and take a look at what they have. Hopefully they'll tell me that part can be replaced and that it won't cost too much.
I never heard of key lime cake but apparently I ate that yesterday at my aunt's house.

The part's kind of expensive but cheaper than getting a new stove. At least the woman told me I could install it myself. We'll see.
Meanwhile, biscuits are really weird and fish is never really done enough.

It cost nearly $200 to fix the oven.
At least now I can eat biscuits again without them being mushy.
It'll be a while before I can eat biscuits twice a week since I messed up all but one pie pan. I have to eat my pumpkin pie before I'll have another.
I'm waiting on a sale, a coupon, or the kind the store makes which doesn't require heating.

I'm still eating lots more soup. No pumpkin pie sold by the store, and no coupon to buy a brand name yet either--though pumpkin pie might be on sale and I should check.
I grabbed the wrong can by mistake and I will soon find out what enchilada tastes like.
This morning I had a sloppy joe. I had forgotten how good they tasted. I wanted sloppy tom but I had a coupon for beef hamburgers. When will turkey be on sale?

I picked up chicken enchilada soup my mistake. I only eat what is not liquid when I eat soup, so there wasn't much there. I dumped in chicken noodle soup from a small can and it was good.

Mrs. Smith's blew it. Saturday I saw pumpkin pies made by the store. The advantage to those is I don't have to put them in the oven and worry about exact timing--too soon and I have pumpkin soup which makes a mess and may not be solid when the time comes to eat it. Too late and I burn the edges.
And yesterday's paper had a coupon for one Mrs. Smith's pie. If it had been for two as it was in some years I wouldn't have been able to use it as I get only one pie a year. But it was too late since I had my pie.

Fish today. No biscuits for a while, but I'll have a pan for them Tuesday.

My pumpkin pie pan is now clean and ready for biscuits. I won't have any until at least Sunday.
And I'll have to use the second can to break open without effort right in the refrigerator. Once that happens they'll get stale.

K&W had turkey! I was in an area that had one anyway, so I didn't have to waste gas.
I just wish the dressing tasted as good as it used to.

It's ironic I don't have turkey burgers. I haven't gotten them because there hasn't been a coupon, but there might be a sale.

My biscuit cans keep opening prematurely. Every time it happens, though, they reimburse me.
I saw a restaurant that has rabbit pot pie on the menu.

We had turtle pie a couple of weeks ago at my aunt's house, and Happy Birthday Jesus cake this past Sunday. And those aren't even all the sweets I ate. Our Christmas will take place this Thursday and people will come when they can come. I need to avoid any more sweets. I was feeling lousy yesterday and I think I know why.

Too many sweets!
We had something made with M&Ms and something light colored which tasted good. And sweet potato pie. And chocolate eclair.
Also ham and what we in North Carolina call barbecue. And a sweeter type of barbecue slaw than the barbecue slaw we had on Sunday.
And potato chips.

I went to where that K&W was that I went to the day before Thanksgiving. Im glad I went there, because I saw that Arby's was across the street and if K&W didn't have turkey I would have gone there instead.
It was a little out of the way but I saved some money. Had they had bologna at my place to get bologna I would have eaten it. I eat too many hot dogs so, even though I was tempted, idecided not to.

I had a certain type of barbecue slaw the Sunday before Christmas at my aunt's house. On the day after Christmas we had sweeter slaw. The kind we had on Sunday they have at a place I passed yesterday, which was a perfect day to stop there. Those sandwiches are so good I should go there more often, but the college library has to close at 5 for me to do it. Otherwise I'm not passing by at lunchtime. Another place has the same type slaw and I used to go there once a year because it was near a place I like to walk once a year. But Hardee's with its turkey burger is closer, and that's cheaper. The barbecue at this place is more expensive than at the place I went yesterday.

I am having Neopolitan ice cream for lunch. The last time I had that it was an ice cream sandwich at the Citgo station where I get hot dogs. I should, but can't remember whether I did, start with strawberry so I still have vanilla to look forward to, then vanilla, then chocolate. I hope I can find a way to eat other flavors of ice cream. The restaurant where I used to get it closed. Other places are so expensive and I don't want to get a big container in a store.

Last Sunday at church we had what was called a Souper Bowl lunch. Most of the food was soup or something similar. I don't know how you eat different kinds of soup because the bowls are small and don't have dividers. I used a plate but that became a problem. At least I got to try several different types of soup.
The pastor finally got around to saying grace just before I finished and left. Someone said we should just go ahead and eat once everything was ready, and the pastor wasn't around to say grace at the time.

I didn't want to walk far when it was cold and snowing so I went downtown to one place where I knew I liked the food and it was cheap.
Hush puppies cost 15 cents each when I started going there. Another place where I get hot dogs charges $3 for a foot long, about the same as two regular hot dogs. This place charged $1.90 for each hot dog. Add the hush puppies and that was $4.98! I hope they at least didn't charge me for water. Milk where I had planned to go is $1.42 for a pint but this place charged $1.80 for a half-pint and I wasn't paying it! $3.60 plus $4.98, and then tax on the milk? Insane!

I thought I was supposed to have the food I liked when we celebrated my birthday. I don't remember what we had last year, but I had just spent a month recovering from my fall and maybe that made them more likely to choose what I wanted.
But my aunt had a birthday too, and she said she got to choose what she wanted.
I like beef roast with carrots and potatoes, and macaroni and cheese. Also rice the way my other aunt made it. We had ham and potato salad. I like ham, but I would have been happier with the other items.

I could have had free pancakes with a donation to a charity. But I forgot on Tuesday and don't know whether there even was an IHOP where I was that day. I went to where I believed there was one, found that there was, and asked. They said that was yesterday.
I had missed out on bologna because it was frozen. But they told me it would be hot and I wouldn't want it. Actually, by the time I ate it, it wouldn't be hot.
I could have had hot dogs there but there were other healthier options. Then I ended up eating a really good hot dog at a place called Mr. Barbecue.

The first time Hardee's (Carl's Jr. for some of you) had the fish sandwich with the woman in the bikini, I didn't get around to trying it.
This time I remembered in time. And it's good. I'm going to keep getting it each time I go there as long as I can, or until I start missing turkey burgers again.
I may have had my last turkey burger at the hospital. It was absolutely terrible the last time I went there. I told the woman not to warm it, but this one had been on the grill earlier and was too far gone. The good news is that in the summer, I can get my lunch before I even arrive at the library, and I pass two Hardee's on the way.
I saw cookies and cream Hershey's in one store and might be able to find the other flavors I like. The ice cream store I've been going to closed, and other places are expensive, but small containers in convenience stores are just what I'm looking for.

I'm getting close to running out of coupons for biscuits. I could spend a few cents more for them, but it's better to get the store brand at another store. That store might have turkey burgers I like. The ones my store has now are too hard to open.
I'm relieved to finally be through with that milk that got pushed back in the refrigerator. Ever since Thursday morning, that milk has been hard to drink, but no ill effects as far as I know. Just a taste I didn't care for.

Actually, I have lots of coupons for biscuits, and I will soon have more. Two more cans popped open in the refrigerator.
I brought a coupon for a free sandwich to Burger King. They said I had to buy a sandwich to get a free sandwich. What good does that do anyone? I had another similar coupon but I'll bet it's the same. Then two more coupons of the same type appeared in the newspaper. Here's an idea: if you don't say "Buy one" in large enough print to read, then "free" is exactly what that sandwich it is. Otherwise you end up in court. Next time, I may just let them know.
My last Hardee's turkey burger was terrible. Not to mention that they said I'd have to wait because it wasn't 10:30. They ended up giving me a turkey burger earlier than it sounded like they would, and they didn't charge me. It's a good thing they didn't because it was awful. If the first one had been like that I would have never gotten another. Plus I dropped it when I fell. I ended up washing it off and eating it. I should have just gotten one at the hospital since the first one was free. I won't be passing the hospital tomorrow because I walk through the military cemetery, something I do every Memorial Day. Not on the day itself because the library is closed.
