I got a turkey burger and walked through the military cemetery, but I spent so much time explaining how the last one was too done, the person didn't remember I said no onions.

And two more cans of biscuits popped open. Why does this keep happening?

…something to do with the yeast and temp changes from grocer to fridge…?

If temperature is a problem I have seen ice in the refrigerator from time to time, but I have never been able to change the thermostat.
And another can popped open. Two more are about to.

My cans of biscuits have quit popping open. But now I can't find Gorton's fish sticks in large boxes. I don't want to buy a box of 18. I refuse to buy a bag because at least you can close a box. Or try to.
Never eat an ice cream sandwich in the summer. I haven't looked to see if the nicest pair of pants I have (another mistake but I don't have enough pants to just wear those on Sunday, and finding new pants has now become difficult) ever got clean.

I have a new place to eat!
I always avoided the hospital in the county where I live because I didn't want to miss out on the sandwiches at the drug store across the street. But the food is so good at that hospital, and I got chance to find out for certain that this was true when I was a patient for nearly a week.
I needed a place where I could use a credit card. It turned out I could there. And they had turkey burgers. They were so good. AND they have ice cream.
This week, though, I decided Wendy's barbecue sandwiches looked so good. They asked me waht kind of sauce and I said I didn't want any. For one thing, I don't know what any of the sauces are like. Then I was asked did I want broccoli slaw. BROCCOLI slaw? I'm not eating that!
I had the chance to go there because I needed paper towels and the store that has the kind I like is on that end of town. My usual store doesn't have the right style any more. The rolls are too small and they're not the nice sturdy towels I was used to.
Plus my store hasn't had Brillo lately. I'll find out if that's still true tomorrow. I forgot to get it at that other store. Other brands aren't as good.
But my store is charging more for flavored water. Another store near the hospital and very close to where I get hot dogs has it for a much cheaper price. I can also go to another store in the same chain if I go to another town, and not go to that store if I need to go somewhere else.

I forgot the Brillo! But my store no longer sells the turkey burgers I like. And the brand they still sell has packages that are very hard to get into. If the store with Brillo has those and I can remember to go just before going home Thursday, then it will be worthwhile.
I know Timmy will hate this but I saw that my local Arby's has the turkey club I wanted at the beach. I had to ask for it without bacon. I did the same thing with an absolutely delicious but very unhealthy Chick Fil-A at the beach.

My store still sells the turkey burgers I like. I looked at other stores and found turkey burgers that looked good but were more expensive, and who knows if, like Jennie-O, they would be hard to get into. There was one brand that was a possibility but I needed to compare prices.
But last week I asked about those burgers at my store. The man knew what I was talking about and went and got them. He said they were changing to the winter mix, whatever that means. I would think around Thanksgiving turkey burgers would be popular.
Speaking of Thanksgiving I ate my turkey and dressing on Monday, and it was good this year. one cafeteria makes dressing just the way I like it.

And I got my pumpkin pie. It isn't frozen so I don't have to heat it. Not only is that easier but I dont have to worry about whether it will turn out to be like soup or have a burned crust.
Apparently they make it right at the store and it is so good.

This is the first day since Sunday I haven't had turkey in some form.
Yesterday I had regular turkey but I had turkey burgers Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

I couldn't find fish sticks on sale. Not since Veterans Day, when I was too far from home (actually, I planned to stop somewhere else and that would have taken too long), have I found a good deal.
I did find a reasonably good deal on Tilapia. It still tastes good but is probably healthier.

And I got another turkey burger last week. I said no onions, but did they listen? No. I just threw them away.
I ran out of Christmas cookies before Christmas and I didn't have fruitcake yet. Or at least that's what I thought. I ate the last Little Debbie Christmas trees. But the last of the bells and stars with sprinkles on them were still in the jar.

They took away my turkey burger! I've been enjoying it for so long.
Some of the places I went didn't make it right and I'm not sorry to lose theirs, but I went to the place that always does it right and not only were turkey burgers no longer on the menu, they were out.
I went to a barbecue place. I like their sandwiches and missed going there, though I found another place where the barbecue tastes the same and is cheaper. But some of it was too done. Plus it got on my jacket.

At Arby's, I ordered a junior roast beef with lettuce and tomato. Lettuce and tomato cost extra, so I certainly had a right to complain when I didn't get them. Amazingly, they didn't just bring me lettuce and tomato. The employee told the other employee how he was supposed to do it, and I got a whole new sandwich without charge. I ate both of them! The junior is cheaper but I usually find I am hungry after eating it.

Two weeks in a row I let my Sloppy Tom almost burn. It is so hard to clean up and doesn't taste nearly as good. I need to turn it off while getting dressed. Two weeks in a row I was putting on my shoes, which is difficult these days. Well, at least for the right shoe. And I can't just get up and turn off the stove.

I didn't burn my Sloppy Tom this week. And I found a replacement for my turkey burger in the town where I used to go to Hardee's. Ham and cheese with lettuce and tomato on whole wheat at the barbecue place I went to a month ago. It's a little cheaper than the barbecue and tastes really good.

I burned my Sloppy Tom this week. I thought I had turned it off but the noise just kept on. I later realized the orange glow under the pan was still there.
It didn't taste too bad but it's a pain to clean up. The water turned black.

And I figured out how to keep from burning Sloppy Toms. I had to turn off my Sloppy Toms when I went to the post office. Just do that! Don't worry about whether it's finished. In fact, it never was, though I took longer than expected to move it from the first pot to the frying pan, something my father did.

And last week I thought I had more water than I did. So I burned them again.
Today, I turned them off as soon as I added the ketchup and chili powder. No, I don't know why I don't have sloppy joe spice. I think I decided to get a container, and sloppy joe spice didn't come in one. When it's empty maybe I can put it in there.

Yesterday I ordered a sandwich WITH lettuce and tomato. I got it to go. Big mistake. No lettuce or tomato.
But I went back to the restaurant later when I was going home. They were nice enough to give me a whole new sandwich, but said if it ever happens again be sure and come back during the same shift.
It won't happen again. There will be no more getting it to go.

I had a good ham and cheese sandwich yesterday. I didn't have time to walk all the way to the hospital. Still, even though I need fiber, there are consequences. I won't mention what they were, but they weren't too bad.
At another restaurant they forgot my lettuce and tomato and I had to go back. They didn't forget here.

One factor is that I ate ice cream. I've felt lousy all day.

I was so happy to discover how good the new brand of turkey burgers I buy are.
Until this week, when I attempted to separate two of them. And next week is worse since there are three. I ended up just cooking two. They were delicious, except for the fact I was getting dressed and there wasn't enough water. the part that wasn't on top tasted awful. And what a holy mess to clean up. My dishwater turned so dark.

I thought I had three turkey burgers left. I was relieved to only find two. And yet I couldn't pull them apart. So I ate both.
Next week, the frozen version from the same company. Hopefully that will go better. If they were intended to be kept frozen, perhaps they'll be easier to pull apart. I can only hope.

I'm dreading tomorrow. It's my first day with frozen turkey burgers from a new brand my store wasn't selling before. I hope they're easy to separate. The others weren't. Same brand but fresh, not frozen. And since I didn't separate them before they were frozen, it was hopeless.

I was so relieved to be able to separate the remaining turkey burgers this week. So maybe I can still buy this brand.
Today I wasn't paying attention and I burned my condensed chicken noodle soup. It tasted awful. I buy it because it tastes so good, though the larger cans with carrots and celery are healthier and I eat them more. Plus if soup and biscuits are all I eat, the soup has all the vegetables I will eat that day. If I eat condensed soup, I need to just put it in the pot for long enough to be warm. It not only tastes awful but it is hard to clean.
Since it was hot I also opened a can of tuna instead of putting fish sticks in the oven. I had to use a can opener and it wasn't easy. I won't buy any more tuna unless it has a pull tab.

I bought two packages of turkey burgers. I opened one of them today. It was easy to separate them so I can get one out when I need each one. I just hope the other one, which I got when I didn't see the brand I am buying now at my usual store, is as easy to deal with. And then my usual store had them, which I discovered when I found I had a coupon only good at that store.

Why do people waste food in restaurants? And these people spoke Spanish. You would think they would be careful not to waste. Supposedly the father/husband has a good job which he was working at when they were there.

I ordered a Junior Roast Beef at Arby's, WITH lettuce and tomato. The person gets distracted by having to ask if I want it to go. When I paid, the amount was less than I expected, so I figured I'd better make sure it had lettuce and tomato on it. It did not. No one charged me, but I think that's only fair because she wasn't listening.
