New riddles (a few of them are more like word games, but I think that's okay): A woman shoots her husband. Then she holds him under water for over 5 minutes. Finally, she hangs him. But 5 minutes later they both go out together and enjoy a wonderful dinner together. How can this be..? The "shoot", "water" and "Hang" refer to photographs... she's a professional photographer and develops her own pics?

Mazeman is correct with the answer of photographer. All the flower & tree answers have been correct. I believe this is the only one remaining (for the tree puzzle): 5. "Eat another bonbon," said our charming hostess.

If you get rid of the 'd' on the end, that would be correct.

I knew the answer to this one for years but didn't understand it for a long time.
Answer: They threw one cigarette overboard which made the boat 'a cigarette lighter.'

Nope, it's a type of actual bird, and as the clues indicate, it is 12 letters long.

Place the words below into pairs. You will then have 5 lots of eight letters, each of which is an anagram of another word. What are the original 5 words?
PEER TIME DATE WALL JUNE TONE SNOB SEAT PALE VILE

Four men and four women are shipwrecked on a desert island. Eventually each one falls in love with one other, and themselves is loved by one person. John falls in love with a girl who is in love with Jim. Arthur loves a girl who loves the man who loves Ellen. Mary is loved by the man who is loved by the girl who is loved by Bruce. Gloria hates Bruce and is hated by the man whom Hazel loves.
Who loves Arthur?

King Kong, the famous monster, is sad because he is the only monster in the world. There is no one for him to talk to. He feels like he is so bad. He decides to commit suicide in the lake outside the town he lives in. King Kong is 82 feet tall. There is an old pole in the water where he swims out to. The pole is left over from an old bridge. It is perfectly vertical and one fifth of its length is in the mud at the bottom of the lake. Two thirds of its length is in the water itself. One eighth of it is above the water. A piece from the top is broken off which would have added 1.25 feet to the total length of the pole. Assuming that the depth of the water has to be over King Kong's head for him to drown, can he kill himself by standing in the lake?
