The sexual tension between you two is killing me. Why don't you just drop your drawers and do it already? Me and Joe Biden? I love him, but not that way.

Joe could only look better if he would stop smiling that shit-eating grin. It makes him look like a moron. But then he speaks and proves it.

Just a minute. On your planet does sexual tension equal thermonuclear war? Never mind. I know the answer to that.

The only thing Joe nailed was his Al Gore impersonation. The constant snorting and smirking were repulsive. And his statement that he and the administration didn't know the embassy in Libya needed security is outrageous. Barry must have been out golfing or attending a Hollywood fundraiser when that came over the pipe. Joe threw the intelligence dept under the bus. Paul Ryan came across as cool, calm, respectful and knowledgable. He wouldn't be the national embarrassment that "Hairplugs" Biden has been since day one. Great job Paul. I look forward to you as our next Vice-President.

CNN has the debate as a tie with Biden being "not likeable" by 55 to 42 and Ryab being "more in touch with average people by about the same margin.
The only thing Joe did was demonstrate his fine imitation of Al Gore: snorting and sighing and interrupting. CNN debate viewers didn't like that at all.
So glad to hear you like the moderator....like that has anything to do with who wins the debate. By the way, she interrupted Ryan more than she interrupted Hairplugs.
Biden looked like a deer in the headlights when Ryan pointed out that the unemployment rate in Joe's hometown is over 10% today and was at 8.5% when Barry and Hairplugs came into office.
Oh, and then there's this.....he's a liar:
The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops released a statement Friday saying that Vice President Joe Biden falsely described Obamcare's contraception and abortifacient mandate:
Last night, the following statement was made during the Vice Presidential debate regarding the decision of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to force virtually all employers to include sterilization and contraception, including drugs that may cause abortion, in the health insurance coverage they provide their employees:
"With regard to the assault on the Catholic Church, let me make it absolutely clear. No religious institution—Catholic or otherwise, including Catholic social services, Georgetown hospital, Mercy hospital, any hospital—none has to either refer contraception, none has to pay for contraception, none has to be a vehicle to get contraception in any insurance policy they provide. That is a fact. That is a fact."
This is not a fact. The HHS mandate contains a narrow, four-part exemption for certain "religious employers." That exemption was made final in February and does not extend to "Catholic social services, Georgetown hospital, Mercy hospital, any hospital," or any other religious charity that offers its services to all, regardless of the faith of those served.
--John McCormack, The Weekly Standard
And this:
BY: Washington Free Beacon Staff October 11, 2012 9:50 pm Vice President Joe Biden accused Rep. Paul Ryan of putting two wars on the “credit card,” and then suggested he voted against the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.
“By the way, they talk about this great recession like it fell out of the sky–like, ‘Oh my goodness, where did it come from?’” Biden said. “It came from this man voting to put two wars on a credit card, at the same time, put a prescription drug plan on the credit card, a trillion dollar tax cut for the very wealthy.”
“I was there, I voted against them,” Biden continued. “I said, no, we can’t afford that.”
Then Sen. Biden voted for the Afghanistan resolution on Sept. 14, 2001 which authorized “the use of United States Armed Forces against those responsible for the recent attacks launched against the United States.”
And on Oct. 11, 2002, Biden voted for a resolution authorizing unilateral military action in Iraq, according to the Washington Post.

The Republican aim is to destroy everything that makes the country worth living in, including public radio and television, even though it makes up 0.012% of the budget. As the most eminent astrophysicist of our time tweeted: Neil deGrasse Tyson ✔@neiltyson Cutting PBS support (0.012% of budget) to help balance the Federal budget is like deleting text files to make room on your 500Gig hard drive. Thursday is coming. Time to release the Biden. I agree. I think they should find something bigger to cut. I have to ask what all our fighting men and women will be doing if there's no war. What exactly will be the benefit? Sure, deterrence through strength is a good thing but they need to be doing something to contribute.

That's a cheep shot. Here's the thing about Big Bird. Although he symbolizes love and caring to millions of children across the United States, he'd be the first one out there protecting ambassador Stevens with an M-50 machine gun. He's a big guy, with an even bigger heart. We need more of him, and less of those with hearts two sizes too small.

If we're lucky, we all have heroes.
A hero is someone who faces overwhelming odds to protect those who can't protect themselves. Someone who cares more about others than self, and is willing to sacrifice for something bigger than themselves.
It doesn't really matter where you get your heroes from, whether it's Doc Savage, Superman, Batman, John F. Kennedy, Storey Musgrave, the astronaut with 8 degrees, a Secret Service agent who is willing to put himself in the way of a bullet to protect our President, a Congressional Medal of Honor recipient, the guy down the street who stands up against gangs, or the policeman who puts his life in danger to protect others.
A hero is anyone who inspires you to be better than you are: who cares about how your grandmother will pay the bills, about the family down the street with an autistic child, or about that person pushing a shopping cart, with no safe place to sleep for the night. These are our heroes.
You can be one, just for one day--November the sixth. It's your chance to be the person you always hoped you could be. Care about those weaker than yourself. Care about others. In the language of Firefly, be a Big Damn Hero.

It's my earnest hope that voters will go to the polls this November election day and vote to make a change in Washington. A change from inexperience and arrogance, a change from class division and envy and a change from hype and blame to a policy of self determination and self control. A vote to continue the great American experiment of self government and the founders belief that each individual is more important than an over obtrusive government. A government that interferes in our daily lives as little as possible while protecting the country as a whole from those who would do us harm. But a Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored. Liberty, once lost, is lost forever. John Adams

I haven't seen the part of the debate that was on during "Emily Owens". But Obama did better in the part I saw.
Neither candidate is ideal. But the national debt seems to outweigh all other concerns right now. And Obama won't bother to address it. He actually seems to think enough rich people will make up the difference.

I would say the sencond debate betwen Romne and Obama was a tie.
Interesting that the so called moderator would be the fact checker for Obama, claiming that Romney was incorrect in his assertion that Obama had not called the Benghazi assassinations a terror attack the next day......and later that night she ADMITTED ROMNEY WAS CORRECT. What a fool.
The best was the Alfred E. Smith dinner last night:

I'm not voting.

J.H. Christo, Chris "Thrill up my Leg" Matthews thinks it's unconstitutional to challenge a sitting president. What an utter moron:
This week, MSNBC “star” Chris Matthews made the following statement, clearly speaking out of frustration as he watched President Obama wilt under the scrutiny of the second presidential debates where he was challenged repeatedly by Republican Mitt Romney.
“I don’t think he understands the Constitution of the United States…He’s the president of the United States. You don’t say, ‘you’ll get your chance.’”
Chris Matthews was angry with Romney challenging the president on his record during the course of an election to unseat him.
Imagine that.
Matthews should be angry about the president’s poor performance not with Romney’s tenaciousness in seeking the truth.
But here's the truth, that Matthews hasn't seemed to have learned: the respect you give is the respect you get. If the president wants respect than he better stop acting like a potentate and more like a president of the United States. Romney gave the president the respect he deserved at the debates and during the course of the election.
You would think Matthews would know what is in the Constitution and what is not.
Nowhere in the Constitution does it set forth that a president of the United States is above the people and cannot and should not be challenged. Is that not what a presidential election is all about – challenging an incumbent president on his record?
The Founding Fathers specifically limited the powers of the president and did not exempt a president from abiding by the laws of the land in the same manner and to the same extent as the average citizen.
America was founded because of our dissatisfaction with a monarchy run by kings and queens who were above the people. The problem is that Matthews thinks that not only he is above the people but President Obama should be as well.
The president of the United States in the Oath of Office swears to the following:
“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”
Prior to the debates mainstream media bigs could craft the coverage of the race as they saw it and in the manner they wanted to communicate it. The problem for them now is that they cannot tell the people what to think when they watched the debates themselves in real time and formed opinions without the need for explanation or editorializing. Their “power” over the people has been marginalized and the liberal media can’t stand it.
I have news for Matthews: there is no greater responsibility a president has than to preserve, protect and defend the Constitutional protection of a citizens’ freedom of speech -- presidents are neither immune from it nor protected from it.
I suggest that someone needs to stuff Chris Matthews' 2012 Christmas stocking with a copy of the US Constitution.

I forgot to post here after the debate.
Obama, asked how we could get along with a smaller military, failed to answer and went off topic telling us about the economy, which was a domestic issue ansd not part of this debate. He has also failed to answer how he will solve the debt problem and get the economy back on track.
Romney hasn't really given us a straight answer either.
Both candidates said exactly what I wanted to hear in their closing statements.
Obamacare seems to be a big obstacle to things getting better. We need something like it, but it costs too much and employers are too uncertain becaue of the rules and expenses to hire people.
I don't like what Romney's plan will do to the less fortunate. It sounds as if the rich will benefit at the expense of the poor, but the idea is that the rich will hire the poor. Get it through your thick heads, those of you with money! If Romney wins and gives you all these benefits, USE THEM TO FIX THE ECONOMY and hopefully all those additional workers will reduce the deficit. And give to charities that will need it! Otherwise, either Obama pulls a Grover Cleveland or someone else will bring back what you don't want!

The Daily Caller captured an extraordinary moment on Fox News last night, during Geraldo Rivera’s interview of the father of Tyrone Woods, the slain Special Forces security agent who gave his life in defending our consulate in Benghazi and protecting Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens, the first US Ambassador murdered in office in 33 years. Charles Woods claims he is not speaking out from anger; he looks into the camera and tells President Obama, “I totally forgive you” even if Obama is responsible for his son’s death. However, Woods wants answers as to why the US didn’t respond militarily to an attack on American soil at any time in the seven hours that the attack took place, and asks whether Obama would have delayed a response for better intel if the American soil was located closer to home: “I was contacted by military personnel yesterday, who told me an interesting fact. And that is any consulate anywhere in the world is American soil,” Woods said. “Any attack on an American consulate is an attack on American soil. There were American citizens that were attacked for seven hours on American soil a couple thousand miles away from Washington, D.C.” “My question of the president would be this: Your Honor, I respect your office as president. But if this attack on American citizens, on American soil, happened 2,000 miles away from Washington, D.C. — say in Los Angeles or in Seattle — would you have waited seven hours before you sent the first airplane? Would you have waited seven hours until the attack was over? Would you have waited a couple of days until you had all of the videos and all the information before you responded in a responsible military way?” … “This is about honor, courage and about love for America. And remember this, Mr. President: My son and the others died heroes and it’s better to die the death of a hero than it is to live the life of a coward. If you are responsible for the death of my son, I forgive you, I love you. I also love America.”
