Let's see what i can remember...

I joined the WB boards in May of 2004. Originally i joined to talk about Charmed and One Tree Hill but it didn't take long for me to find another home on the General board. Those were really the days when KrytonianKnight (James) phat79 (Tony) Steph (i forget her original sn) WinterStorm (Jim) and myself were all online. Tbh, i don't even remember the title of the thread as sad as that is. I think it just had our sn's as the title...

I will never forget how mad i was that posters spoiled the ending of Charmed for me. Although i didn't know exactly how it was going to end, i found out a lot more than i wanted to and as a spoiler-phobe that really stuck with me. Well that, and all the Billie hate that was going on during the final season. I still miss Grams (goddess13moons) Freddy (Freddy England) Kim, and a lot of the other Charmedlings that either didn't make it to the CW boards or didn't stick around after joining.

I made the switch to the CW boards but have been pretty quiet over the past few months. Heck, if it weren't for an email from G, i wouldn't have even known they closed. Does anyone have what the mods posted before they went down just out of curiosity?

So yeah, i'm a Charmed/Smallville/Supernatural fan at :heart: but i also still watch a lot of the CW shows.

Susie didn't agree with the way the boards were being run...she thought that it should be a community, not a dictatorship. Her nickname for Alice was "big Al," as in Al Capone.

But she stayed until she couldn't handle it anymore...when the WB position came up, she took it. Max followed her after a few weeks.

There were rumors that Alice fired Susie...but so far, I haven't seen any real proof.

p.s. ModGinny and ModBridget went to work for the same company Susie and Max are now at.

I watched my first Smallville episode at the end of season 5. The final episode. After using my video store's unlimited rental plan to catch up to that point, I joined the CW forum in October of 2006 (hence my screen name). I usually hung out in the SFSF because it was sane in there. We talked about Superman and other things. Every day, Horsehappy (did I remember that right?) would start our day with virtual coffee.

I enjoyed the "Oops thread", "Where are they now", and other info threads like that. Fun. I also enjoyed "Speak the mind of Shelby". Too funny.

It's too bad the SFSF was so big. Only in that we have now lost all that conversation. Sometimes I'd look at old posts and see something I typed and think to myself, "I said that?" Wow.

This is what helped me to understand the 'like-minded' shows.

Today...The CW is Crap......borne upon Crap.

Some of my favorite shows from when Cw was wb was Savannah I think I maybe the only one who remembers that I'm guessing, and Popular and there was a comedy with nikki cox I think was called unhappily ever after or something....I watched 7th heaven a few years but the kids started to annoy me and I began to get bored with it.

I loved Veronica Mars.

I think cw has a few good shows too in my opinion

I remember there was a show called "Savannah". I watched a few "Popular" episodes, including the one where the nasty girl felt guilty about not donating some organ to someone who needed it, and some "7th Heaven" episodes. I watched most "Veronica Mars" episodes during the last season after they toned it down and was actually disappointed they cancelled it.

I'm going to start a thread for this in the Jungle.

I joined the CW board 1-1/4 years ago. I joined the board and waxed eloquently and enthusiastically about my favorite CW character. I was immediately tarred, feathered, and run out of town on a rail. Nuf said.

Good news! I found the WB newbie thread!

I probably shouldn't do any more really long posts here as some of you could end up with your computer freezing.

Bad news. It is in four emails and Gmail, in their infinite wisdom, designed their email poorly and has now made it impossible to use through their new and improved design. Tip: nothing online is ever "new and improved". No web site has ever been improved. And Gmail doesn't have "folders". And all emails are in "conversations". Which means that under the new system, only one email in each conversation can be accessed.

Oh, and why Gmail? At the time it was the only email address with enough storage.

I have another email address which allows me to move emails from one email address to the new one. That may work. But I won't get to any more today.

As I find stuff and figure out how to get to it, I'm just forwarding it to Mistermoonlight. Which is why my computer keeps freezing. It can't handle the load. He should probably be careful when he opens his next email.

Shipper issues weren't anywhere near the scope of the problems on the early days of the boards! There were fights between shows where the Roswell people thought the Superman story was a copy of Roswell ... and ageist things like liking Superman or writing and being over 26 made you a pervert. Worst for me personally was offering financial assistance to friend on the board so she and her toddler son could move away from an area in which drive by shootings were common. She came home and found bullet holes through her walls. She was scared of orphaning her son or having him die. I told her to set up a PO Box so I could send her a money order without knowing her real name or address. In return, she could pay me back by designing my new web site for me IF she wanted to -- no obligation. Because a lot of people agreed that no one would do that for someone else without a motive, they decided I was a sexual predator. That totally devastated me. When I talked about it with a friend, he thought it was so funny that he shared it with some people who thought it wasn't very funny at all. One man decided to shoot me, but he was convinced by others not to. The consequences echoed and re-echoed in my life since then ... and it is totally stupid of me to mention it again because the whole thing could start all over again. No, ... shipper issues ... not a big deal to me at all.
