In 8.02, Dean is trying to protect the family jewels.

I guess those are the Winchester family jewels. I love it when you imbed the videos. Then, I just copy them from your post when I make the discussion and poll thread.

Nice pictures. Oh... Did the dog follow them for a visit? They're supposed to be hunting. Dean has his "What the hell, Sammy!" expression in the 3rd picture.

I figured this was one of the season 8 flashbacks we've heard so much about.

I am looking forward to it also. Seems like they will include a lot of information/drama in the episode. I am still in this for the squee factor rather than deep analysis.
I plan to make the poll 5 choices instead of 10. The reactions in the 8.1 poll were all over the place.

They are still together. I learned the hard way about photos also. When I had put over a hundred photos in Photobucket, I decided to separate them by show titles. I created SPN, Smallville, etc. folders and when I moved the photos, they disappeared from the threads. I had to re-insert the pics in the "Who Am I?" threads, etc.

Then there's this concerning an upcoming episode, 8.05. Vampire fans, rejoice!
“SUPERNATURAL” — (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) “Blood Brother” (TV-14, DLV) (HDTV)
BENNY CALLS DEAN FOR HELP — After Benny (Ty Olsson) gets brutally beat up by some vampires, he calls Dean (Jensen Ackles) for help. Dean abruptly packs up and tells a confused Sam (Jared Padalecki) that he’s taking a “personal day.” Benny confesses that he’s going after his Maker (guest star Patrick Stafford) so Dean offers to help, flashing back on the many times Benny helped him and Castiel (Misha Collins) in Purgatory. Meanwhile, Sam (Jared Padalecki) uses his solo time to reflect on the life he left behind with Amelia (guest star Liane Balaban). However, when things go bad for Dean and Benny, Dean calls Sam for help, which makes everything very complicated. Guy Bee directed the episode written by Ben Edlund (#805).

8.05 sounds like fun, and it sounds like Benny did not want to be made into a vampire any more than Dean did. Wonder how many bitch faces Sam will make when he learns what Dean was doing. I hope those flashbacks do not have any fornication love scenes between Sam and Amelia.

Is 8.05 the episode that was originally going to be called "Dean Amuck" but was changed to "Blood Brothers?" Not sure, but I think so. I'm looking forward to it.

Here's a little something about our favourite Angel that might interest you, via Sandra Gonzalez at EW.com
"The Winchesters definitely experienced a set back when it came to tracking down the word of God, which, as you know, is going to help them padlock the gates of hell for-ev-er. Luckily, we know that they will have another pair of hands in the fight when Cas re-enters the human realm. (Yes, when.) But as Misha Collins teases, Cas’s involvement could put him in major danger. “I think that that’s sort of the pivotal object of the season, that’s what everyone is after from every realm,” he says. “Cas is definitely involved in that process and caught in the crossfire.”

News about episode 8.06 which features (yuck), the return of Garth:
Seems like we have a new Bobby Singer, which sounds fishy to me but I'm keeping an open mind. After all, someone had to do it. Here's the synopsis and photos for "Southern Comfort."
GARTH RETURNS TO HELP SAM AND DEAN ON A CASE — Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigate a murder and find Garth (guest star DJ Qualls) is already on the case. Dean is not happy to learn that Garth has assumed Bobby’s duties, but Garth points out that both Sam and Dean have been missing for the last year and someone needed to do it. They guys discover an “avenging ghost” is responsible for the murders and they need to find the source before the killings starts again. Tim Andrew directed the episode written by Adam Glass (#806).

I just saw possible scary info over at SpoilerTV. Episode 8.11: LARP and the Real Girl might mean Becky is in the episode. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! More info on 8.11: Here's a snippet from Carina MacKenzie at Zap2it about episode 8.11 - currently titled "LARP and the Real Girl". "We've seen some live-action roleplayers on the show before... and we're diving back into that fandom underworld again in the upcoming episode "LARP and the Real Girl." We'll meet Gerald, a LARPer who prefers to be referred to as an "interactive literaturist." He goes a little too far with his fascination with a medieval-style game ." What do you think? Sound like a fun episode?

Maybe Becky and Amelia can have a cat fight. There are two references to Becky that I have fond memories of. 1) When Sam asked if she would stop touching him, and Becky responded "No". 2) When Chuck was talking to Mistress Magda and Dean asked what happened to Becky, Chuck responded "I had too much respect for her."

I don't enough about Amelia yet to hate her as much as I do the Becky character. I hate Becky and I hate Garth. Maybe they'll kill each other in an upcoming episode. It takes a certain type of irritating personality to make me so "bloody."

More season 8 spoilery:
Oooo my goodness! Here's a big-assed spoiler from EW.com via Misha about Castiel in season 8.
"If you, like me, are still haunted by the image of Castiel calling out to Dean in Purgatory, sit back. I have some interesting intel for you.
While talking to Misha Collins about his charitable scavenger hunt (more about that here), he also confirmed a hunch we’d had about the last time Dean saw Cas. It was, in fact, while Dean was exiting Purgatory. But there’s much more to it than that. “That very moment is a pivotal moment. I think Dean is confused about what happened at that moment and won’t actually find out what happened then until episode 7,” he reveals. “It’s going to take a while to see that moment play out.” Suffice to say the truth hurts — especially on this show.
But when Cas does return topside, look for him to be “reinvigorated with a sense of purpose,” says Collins. “He essentially feels like he has to do good in order to right the wrongs of his past. So he starts to collaborate with Sam and Dean for that reason — so that he can continue to try to make things right. He’s no longer paying penance, really, because it’s no longer an act of suffering for him. But he’s doing his best to right the wrongs of his past.” Doing so won’t be as easy as he hopes, however. “He’s doing that in ways that help Sam and Dean and then, ultimately, it might also make life — as per usual with the Supernatural universe — complicated for Sam and Dean. At first, it seems like everything is hunky dory. But things quickly fall apart.”
I'm so very inerested in that "pivotal moment" and what happened and why Dean is confused. I'm hoping and praying that means Dean didn't purposely leave Hot Wings behind! Oh my...the wait is going to be torture...sweet, sweet "Supernatural" torture.
What do you think about this spoiler? Happy, sad, curled up on the floor in the foetal position?
