Supernatural is always bringing back beloved guest stars, and now there’s another one. Keep reading after the break.
It’s Charlie! AKA Felicia Day’s super-nerdy hacker! That’s right, Day tweeted that she’s on the SPN set for Halloween, and she also tweeted a pic of her trailer with “Charlie” on it. I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait.
Even better, she’ll be in episode 11 which is currently titled “LARP and the Real Girl.” That’s a movie pun almost as good as her first episode, “The Girl with the Dungeons and Dragons Tattoo.”
**at least it's not Becky**

I am ok with Charlie coming back, she wasn't or isn't annoying like Becky was. She is also not a damsel in distress, which makes her even better in my viewpoint.
I can't stand the silly females that stand there and scream or run straight toward the monster. Duh!

I liked Charlie and she is much better than Becky.

Did anybody see the preview for next week's episode with Garth?
Did it look like Dean was punching Sam? I am not happy if that is true. I'm already not happy with him after Blood Brother.
Though it did sound like Garth was trying to be the brother's therapist as I believe he said something to the effect of: "you guys are both talking, but not listening to each other."

Yeah, much angst, but Dean had better not be pointing that gun at Sam. I know one thing for certain, if Dean had to choose to save either Sam or Benny or anyone else, he would always choose Sam.

Is it too mean for me to hope Dean is pointing that gun at Garth?

Aww...Dean hurt Garth's feelings. It is so hard for Dean to apologize so that's not going to turn into a chick flick moment. I'm glad Garth spoke up though.

Yes, but, when Bobby was dying, he didn't think about Garth. He called Dean and Sam his "adopted" sons, not Garth. Garth may think Bobby was "for all of them," but he was only tangentially in the other hunters lives. Dean and Sam were more than fellow hunters to him, they were his sons.

No doubt about it, Bobby was like a father to our guys. I thought Bobby was like a 911 call for fellow hunters and, of course, a member of the hunters' brotherhood. That is nowhere near the bond Bobby had with Dean and Sam.
I think Garth would love to be BFF with our guys. He hunts alone and I don't think it's by choice so he needs a friend. I don't mean he should ride in the backseat of the Impala, but they could use him as a resource.

It looks like Supernatural Episode 8.12 now has a new title. It was previously called "Out of Time", however we've learnt that it will now be called "As Time Goes By".
We have a couple of small snippets about this episode.
- A character called Henry will all appear. He is a junior member of an anti-demonic cult in the 1950's. He manages to open a portal that takes him to 2013.
- Another character called "Josie Sands". She is the host of a Demon called Abbadon a she follows Henry through to 2013 to claim a vital artifact.

I don't like Garth either, but he seemed almost human in that clip, that is the first time I have thought of him with anything other than disdain. I will wait to see how the episode is before I decide if I want to think of Garth as a decent recurring character, but that would be few and far between episodes.

Yes, that clip made me hate Garth .00000000001% less, but I would still rather see them bring back Frank. He would be so much better as a liason for the boys and their cases.

Based on that clip, I think both Dean and Garth were right.
Yes, the best way for Garth to honor Bobby, is to take what Bobby--and other hunters--taught him and be the best hunter he can be. He shouldn't try to BE BOBBY with the sayings and clothes.
On the flip side, sure, aside from Rufus, Sam and Dean were the closest people to Bobby and as such, have a right to REALLY mourn Bobby. But like others said, Bobby was probably one of the main go-to guys for hunters all around. So it's not right that Dean and Sam act like they were the only ones that lost Bobby.
To be fair though, Sam and Dean were the ones to put Bobby down for good, so that would definately up the mourning factor.

Here's a sneak peak at 8.07, "A Little Slice of Kevin:"
....and the official promo for the same:
So we get to see Castiel topside again (with a beard!) and Kevin and his mom are playing with fire!
And, of course, Crowley!

I know I'm jumping ahead a bit here, so please bear with me. Also, I'm going with the idea that Episode 8.9 will be the Winter Finale.
With Sam "drawing a line in the sand" with Dean concerning Benny in last night's Episode, I'm somewhat panicking that Dean will cross that line in Epi. 8.9.
From what I've read, Jensen, Ty, and some Unknown 3rd person filmed some scenes either in or near a warehouse or on or near a dock area for this Episode. I know that the episode has Sam asking Martin to look into some strange deaths and see if Benny's involved and Dean is pissed about it. So I'm scared that Dean will run to warn Benny and maybe even help him try to get away.
Being that this might be the Winter Finale, I can totally picture an ending standoff scene with Dean, Benny, and Unknown 3rd person on one side and Sam, Cas, and Martin--if he's still alive--on the other side and that's where they will end it.
IDK, I just hate it that Benny is pulling these guys apart. It's like Season 4 with Ruby and Cas all over again.

And then there's this:
Maybe Dean is so mad at Sam because he didn't do all he could to get Cas out....?!?!

Don't read if you don't like knowing what's coming up:
Here's the official synposis from the CW for episode 8.08, "Hunteri Heroici" which will air on November 28.
CARTOONS AREN’T ALWAYS FUNNY — Castiel (Misha Collins) tells Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) that he’s decided to become a hunter like them. Sam and Dean aren’t sold on the idea but agree to investigate a case Cas found where a man’s heart literally burst through his chest. The guys discover there has been more than one odd murder in the small town and all of them resemble cartoon deaths. Paul Edwards directed the episode written by Andrew Dabb.

Here is a synopsis of Episode 8.9, so don't read if you don't want to know....
Episode's called Citizen Fang
SAM PUTS A TRACKER ON BENNY — Sam (Jared Padalecki) asks a hunter named Martin (guest star Jon Gries) to keep an eye on Benny (guest star Ty Olsson) without telling Dean (Jensen Ackles). However, when Martin tells Sam there was a vampire kill and he thinks Benny is responsible, Dean defends his friend. When Martin decides to take things into his own hands, things get messy and Dean is forced to make a very hard decision. Nick Copus directed the episode written by Daniel Loflin.
Source: CW and SpoilerTV
So it sounds like Martin will die and Dean will choose Benny over Sam. I had figured this was going to happen a while back when we were getting snippets about the episode. I was hoping that I was wrong, but it doesn't seem like I am. This just sucks. And this is probably the Winter Finale, so we'll be left with this bad taste for around a month.
I know some will say that this is payback for Sam and Ruby, but IMO, this is worse because Dean is soberly making this decision--or as sober as a hunter is--unlike Sam that was hopped up on demon blood at the time.
I don't mean to be so negative, it's just I want them to stop this constant arguing.

The "bad cop" did make me chuckle. I think SPN is getting their scripts from fan fiction.

Oh, well. At least we aren't getting 4 week breaks YET.

I KNEW it was too good to be true. Only 2 more episodes before the dreaded "winter" hellatus. Dammit.
Episode 8.09, titled "Citizen Fang," is the last episode of 2012 for Supernatural. After this one airs, the show goes on it's mid-winter break for a month or so. The official synposis and promo photos were released by The CW. This one looks like it's going to be pretty tense!
SoCal, that sounds very tense. I hope Dean does not have to decide between Benny and Martin. Heck, I hope Benny did not kill anyone. Dean has lost too many friends already.

And....I hope Sam isn't the one to kill Benny. That would really upset the tense bond the boys are still building now.
